Howdy from the Spooky wild wild west of Denver, Colorado, folks! The all hallows eve and reformation day celebrations are in full swing this week. The Vitamin Cannabis Team and I wish you a safe and spooky Halloween 2014! :-)

In less scary news (unless you hate weed) it is JUDGEMENT DAY for Cannabis as a schedule one narcotic in this country. A single Circuit Court Judge holds our fate – so send positive energy to her in California – as she decides whether or not evidence exists to support a rescheduling of Cannabis. IF – and it’s a big IF – she sides with God and morality and says pot should be rescheduled, the federal government will immediately appeal to the Supreme Court of the United States of America. The Supreme Court can then choose to hear the case, and decide if an order to reschedule should go out, or they can “Back Door” cannabis rescheduling in the same way that gay marriage was actually legalized in all the states: by refusing to hear the case, thus validating the lower circuit court’s ruling. Now I’m no legal expert, but that is my understanding of the situation, and it gives cause for hope that eventually we can get this wonderful plant out of its ridiculous status in the federal drug scheduling.

If you’re just now hearing about CBD, then be proud you are first to hear about CBG, the new cannabinoid creating serious buzz as a tumor fighter and, also, one of the new cannabinoids that most labs can test for. For those of you in lucky states that still allow private personal cannabinoid testing, you can now see where your CBG levels are, in addition to THC and CBD. A friend of Vitamin Cannabis recently e-mailed me links to high CBG oil which is starting to appear in the more progressive, compassionate states. We are eager to see the results of the new CBG heavy strains and concentrates and their ability to break up difficult tumors. Look for CBG to start appearing in places near you!

There is a new $100 Million lawsuit against a private caregiver, a testing lab and its owner, and a second testing lab regarding a CBD product legally available and sold online. The Vitamin Cannabis team has received reports of numerous CBD oils sold online either being inactive (did nothing) or, in some case, caused extreme gastrointestinal distress or other harsh reactions including vomiting. We were attempting to have the oil tested ourselves when a ban on testing blocked us. We still managed to obtain the toxic test results, but did not post them to our site. I would like to say we would have had no involvement with this except for numerous people reporting and asking us for help in determining if the product was safe, and the company (when I contacted them directly at the cannabis cup) would not reveal where the hemp came from, or offer up toxicity tests of its own, which led to the underground movement to determine the safety of the product for human consumption. The company is pissed that it was revealed the stuff was potentially toxic and is now suing several good people who do not deserve the lawsuit.

Now this is all going to get hashed out in court (pun totally intended), but what we hope the overall result becomes is that the CBD oil’s producers be required to provide evidence the oil is safe, and its origins. I’m not saying the CBD oil products sold online by a wide variety of companies are all unsafe, but I am saying I would like the companies to be honest about where the hemp came from, how it was treated, and what the other ingredients are in the oil. The fact a company would sue people trying to determine a products safety after repeated people complained of bad reactions, I think, says the most about whether you should trust some of the products offered online.

To see the MOST HOPEFUL news story I have seen on the THC heavy cancer curing oil, please follow this link to see TEAM LANDON’s story in more detail. I can’t help but feel this is the first of many stories that will break into the main stream media and further the Phoenix Tears story. Sierra and Landon have been through so much- but to see the results- on the news- brings real tears to my eyes. It’s happening, folks, and thanks to brave people like TEAM LANDON, the truth will prevail! :-)

Lastly, I’d like to thank all the people who have personally contacted me the last month with links to information, videos, test results, politics, and breaking news regarding the cannabis movement. It was my 34th birthday October 9th and, while I am blessed with a beautiful and wonderful family, I also received a karmactic birthday present. An old friend stopped by with a new strain called “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Weed” that looks and smells just like THC filled buds, but this new strain has 15% CBD and less than .03% THC. It grows 4 feet tall and bushy; no 14 foot hemp plants. Sticky as all hell and some of the best weed I’ve seen. Only professionals and cannabis connoisseurs would be able to tell “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Weed” from high cannabis THC; I can’t imagine law enforcement officials worldwide will be able to tell it’s not THC weed. That creates an enforcement issue in the near future, and is one more beacon of light in the dark indicating Hemp/Cannabis is about to go legal worldwide. I was blessed to receive a quarter ounce of the “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Weed” for my birthday, thanks CBD Bill. It was fantastic!

I’ll leave you all with some pictures of the new CBD strain that can be legally grown and transported anywhere Hemp is legal! Tell me it’s not high THC stuff :-). Click for full size images.

Howdy from the Wild Wild West Mile “Legally” High City of Denver, folks!

From the largest city in the state with the best economy (yeah…it’s because of the weed), I bring you greetings and salutations, marijuana musings, and news of cannabinoid victories in our state. Open your hearts and minds and here we go!

For starters, according to dateandtime.com, the latitude of Denver is “39 44’20 N.” I just find it fitting that there’s a “420” in our numerical location. 420 is now embedded in our culture, and if it wasn’t for the 420 Marijuana Legalization rallies held each year which got the ball rolling, we wouldn’t have the blessings of hemp and cannabis freedom we enjoy today. I’m not too into the numbers of things, but all 420’s stick out to me – on license plates, serial numbers, and, as it turns out, my geographical location on planet earth. :-)

In major news, the Colorado Department of Health once again tried to place unconstitutional limits on caregivers in our state who privately care for thousands of the marijuana refugees that have flocked to our state for treatment with cannabis medicines that work when all else fails. One individual cares for 80 patients with epilepsy who need a specific CBD plant (Note: it’s not all just CBD, many epilepsy patients use THC/CBD blends). When he brought some of the children he treats and their parents to the state house to testify in a public comment session, there was no way the board could vote against forcing 70 children to find another caregiver. It’s a complicated situation, but the department did the right thing by avoiding this issue… for now… Other attacks on greenhouse growing in favor of highly polluting warehouse grows is on the horizon, and I’m sure the caregiver/patient number issue will be revisited in the future.

In other pot news, the Israeli government did an extensive study on cannabis and PTSD and found immediate cannabis use right after the traumatic event resulted in a significant decrease in the symptoms and future damage. No surprise, cannabinoids can cross the ultra-protective blood brain barrier, and once there they operate to protect and repair the brain itself. Funny how a substance that did that would remain illegal for so long.

Hempcrete is also in the news a lot, with a video you can see here of it blackening but not burning under a propane torch test. For people building in areas that may be prone to wildfires, hempcrete is an incredible option, and we hope to see it being used more in Colorado and elsewhere very soon. More research is also being done on hemp as an energy storage facilitator. It’s absolutely amazing what this plant’s products can be made into. Here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeW6kuZgPY4

There is news from Realm of Caring announcing they will begin getting their medication to patients everywhere soon. Congratulations to Realm and all involved in this monumental achievement. There is an awesome article that includes many details that only people actually caring for kids with epilepsy/autism can use, that I’m including here: http://www.ladybud.com/2014/09/18/realm-of-caring-announces-charlottes-web-to-be-shipped-to-all-50-us-states/

But the biggest news of all comes from a familiar source: TEAM LANDON in Colorado Springs. All I can say is watch the video on the link below, but only if you want to see a kid who had leukemia vaping a cloud pen and a stunned newscaster asking the question: “Does Cannabis Really Cure Cancer?” Landon’s test results are amazing, from dying of cancer to only needing checkups to make sure the cancer hasn’t come back. All by using cannabis oil/phoenix tears. It’s newsworthy, it has been for a long time, and now it’s finally on the actual news. The story is changing, too; now instead of focusing on whether cannabis oil should be given to children, the news is focused on real cure stories they can’t deny. It reminds me of when I made part two of Vitamin Cannabis called “Save the Children.” I had hoped it would happen sooner, but I’m glad it’s finally happening. Others are seeing it’s the children who are most vulnerable to disease, and it’s kids who benefit most from the cannabis oil.

To Rick Simpson and Christian Laurette, Landon’s story of life is your story continued. Landon and his mom Ran from the Chemo and ran to the cure, thanks to you guys. I hope you’ll watch the video and see just what is happening here in Colorado where compassion rules the day. View story here: http://denver.cbslocal.com/2014/09/24/springs-woman-claims-marijuana-cured-her-sons-cancer/

We hope you find the fall weather turns your cannabis purple. Keep the faith, keep spreading the word, we are all making a difference, folks, we truly are. :-)

Large stores sold approximately 50 pounds of recreational cannabis each in 5 days’ time the first week of legality, with small stores selling 20 to 30 pounds each. Over $5 Million in retail sales the first week. State taxes at 25%, wholesale tax (unseen by consumer) at 15%, and 8% city sales tax equals 48% tax rate on the recreational weed. In numbers, a couple million in tax dollars raised, by people more than happy to pay it, all in one week’s time. The lines are still long at places and a month’s worth of cannabis infused chocolate edibles sold out in 2 days’ time at one of the shops. Incredible. Just incredible!

It’s Green Fever all over the state, as a Colorado state highway mile marker sign for Mile 420 has been stolen so many times the state’s transportation department replaced it with a new sign “Mile 419.99″. I couldn’t make this stuff up, it’s epic times in the joy of Colorado’s legality. Dominoes are falling all over the country – go New Hampshire, Alaska, Washington, Arizona, and New York as you prepare to pass, or implement Cannabis laws! Keep it legal for people to grow at least 6 plants, and the power to heal yourself will remain with the people. Grow ’em big :-)

Jay Leno on the Tonight Show, a great comedian in his final days as host of the famed show, is having a field day with marijuana jokes almost nightly as he heads towards the finish line. He seems to really be enjoying it, calling us “The Generation that Legalized Marijuana.” It’s awesome to see so much happening so quickly.

Food stamps cards can be used at pot shops in Colorado – but I wouldn’t do it people – that might be considered tickling the tail of the beast, and pissing off the feds. Also I wouldn’t recommend, as a caregiver, having more than 30 total plants or 5 patients, as the state is passing a law making both illegal. This law is Superconstitutional; meaning it is on top of a law that is in the Colorado state constitution saying something totally different. So if you can convince a jury of 12 of your peers you didn’t have too many plants or patients, you are okay, but make sure you can without a doubt survive examination of your plants and patients as there will be laws in place soon. It’s sad to see the 5 patient limit and 30 plant count come back from the dead. Just like the THC DUI, it’s another example of legislators doing what they want, regardless of a constitutional vote by the people.

A heads up to all would-be shippers out of state of cannabis goods: several reports of packages not arriving to locations have many thinking the government and corporations have installed larger package scanning machines at all Colorado (and potentially Washington) mailing facilities, and are putting extra scrutiny on packages leaving the legal compassionate states. The Vitamin Cannabis team has long banned out of state shipping amongst our ranks, and I myself would be rich if I accepted the once a week offers to buy my pills and ship them to people out of state or overseas. Do it at your own risk, people, but I do not participate in shipping at all.

In the 1600’s, the Dutch had an event occur called “Tulip Mania” where tulip bulbs were overinflated in price and became worth thousands of dollars, even though the intrinsic value (the actual value of the bulb) was next to nothing. I learned about Tulip Mania in talking with the lead grower at the dispensary I work for, who talked about how the value of certain cannabis clones, like a heavy CBD, or high yielding THC with short flower time, can be inflated to thousands of dollars, when the actual value of the cannabis clone is always less than $1 in physical materials. I asked the grower to compare what is happening in Colorado right now to something else, and Tulip Mania is what he related it to. It’s Cannabis Mania, and Tax Mania, right now in Denver, but it’s all a beautiful sight to see.

In other non-cannabis news, there might be trees on mars, look for yourself and be the judge, but I think the 300 ft. coral-like trees on Martian seabed are definitely proof of alien life existing even if it is Martian Flowers. See the pics and judge for yourself. Also, dolphins have been caught – using a robotic fish camera – taking a puffer fish, making it puff its poison, then getting “high” off the puffer poison, and handing the fish to each other like a joint. It’s pretty amazing to see other creatures using “recreational drugs.” And the poor puffer fish… http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshhlXllGGBS6symC3z3

$7 million in Cannabinoid research grants from the state of Colorado has been put into the budget – it’s a first – as a governmental organization will be conducting research into the validity of cannabis as medicine claims. I wonder if our team will receive any of the funds, to look into whether or not cannabis does indeed cure cancer :-). We all know it does, but it would be nice to see it official, and released to all.

Congratulations to New York, who authorized via emergency edict through the governor’s office the distribution of cannabis medicines at 20 NY hospitals. And power to the “Live Free or Die” state, as New Hampshire prepares to legalize via the state house. The dominoes are falling everywhere and prohibitions’ clock is in its final ticks… :-)

Nancy Grace of CNN called pot smokers “Lazy, Fat, and a Threat to Society” in her monologue about how pot legalization is a slippery slope. She debates Mason Tvert, a SAFER marijuana activist who handles her quite well. Nancy even turns off his mike at one point he is winning the argument so badly. Then on Saturday Night Live, they mock Nancy and fake interview a Boulder cannabis bakery manager and Katt Williams. Both will make you laugh out loud and you can check them out together here: http://blog.sfgate.com/smellthetruth/2014/01/21/cnns-insane-clown-nancy-grace-converts-millions-to-marijuana-legalization/

On a positive note: the over 70 year old doctor in Northern Colorado charged with a felony after signing a medical marijuana card for an undercover cop who said he was in severe pain, will not go to jail, though he still has a criminal record as a result of the case. It’s sad to see in some areas the fear of pot being the devil’s weed still exists. The prosecutor tried to have the doc banned from talking about the case, but that was thrown out by the judge. A strong court turnout helped the doctor who hopefully will be able to return to a normal life with his family, and tell his story to prevent it from happening elsewhere.

Another positive, the first Commercial Hemp Seed production vendor license was issued in Colorado; soon we will all be able to buy commercial hemp seed. Remember it’s only $200 initial fee and $1 per acre to grow industrial hemp in Colorado. Please come grow your victory gardens here… :-)!

One final note: Mr. Snowden – the leaker of the NSA documents about how the US has been spying on everyone – told Russian authorities, who told a newspaper in Iran, that the United States Government has been run by Nazi Space Aliens since 1954. Although the source is questionable, and the story ridiculous, in a way – to me – it makes a hell of a lot more sense that evil Nazi aliens run the country than that ordinary human beings would be so terrible to each other so often, like keeping the cancer cure illegal and letting people die. I’m not saying I believe the Nazi Space Alien stuff, I’m just saying it is much easier to believe that then that humans are capable of such evil. Food for thought, folks.

I hope this message finds you all well and happy. Positive thoughts and energy your way. I truly love you all and will continue my lightworker lightwork as long as we’re gleaming. Please wish me and my family light and good tidings as well. Viva la evolucion, viva la oil!

P.S. An Update on “Team Landon”: Landon Riddle’s mom, Sierra Riddle, is fighting for her son’s right to use cannabis rather than toxic chemotherapy (he doesn’t even have cancer right now, but they are requiring him to continue treatment for the next few years anyway!). They are trying to raise money for an attorney as well as car repairs to travel form Colorado Springs to Denver regularly for appointments with his doctor. You can help them out by visiting their website and making a donation: http://hashtagteamlandon.wix.com/support.  And/or you can nominate her as an Unstoppable Mom here: http://livekellyandmichael.dadt.com/contests/unstoppablemoms/. Both would help out greatly and would be very much appreciated.

P.S.S. Oh man the news just keeps coming… the pro football league in America just announced it would consider marijuana for treatment of brain injuries, the University of Colorado announced their 33% increase in admissions applications “has nothing to do with recreational marijuana legality” – h huh, sure it doesn’t – and Obama talks about how marijuana isn’t all that bad. The times they are a changin’ and I like what I see. Come to Colorado to go “Hiking” Folks! :-)
