Happy April 2015 everyone!!

So the events of 4-20 are over- and oh my! What a week it was! From the President being on Sanjay Gupta’s CNN doc Weed 3, to the High Times Cannabis Cup, to the Saturday 420 festival, to the political rally on actual 4-20-2015 on Monday- it was epic times in Colorado! I hope you had fun wherever you were this 420!!

On Saturday I visited the 420 Marijuana event in Civic Center park- it was well attended and I looked at cannabis wares from all over the country- including sea shell and sea urchin pipes, bamboo Gandalfs, and great glass pieces too unique to even try to describe! Devin the Dude played pot songs while people toked and shopped the booths, and a great time was had by all. On Sunday it was the High Times Cannabis Cup- which was epic in itself for people from out of state (the pot plants were placed in an area specifically to take photos with this year) but a memo from the MED (the pot cops) did put a damper on the event as no dispensaries were allowed to transfer their weed to their booths to give away- like they had in past years. So less free pot, but more vendors, giveaways, and great glass!

On Monday, the actual 4-20 day I took my camera to the capital building for the traditional political 420 rally and had a great time. The spirit of Ken Gorman was strong. I toked at the 4:20 pm moment and it was very uplifting for all of us who had been to rallies before legality, to see the beautiful thing legality has become in Colorado. I edited and just released the video from the event, please check it out here:

In major news that I actually saw talked about by Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie Perez on the View (Rosie Perez mentions the GVMT Patent on cannabis as a medicine- you go girl!), our activist friend, Shona Banda, is in some legal trouble causing national headlines. My fiancé and I met her and bought her wonderful book “Live Free or Die” (a great read- pick it up!) at the Denver “Vitamin Cannabis” premier here in Colorado.  Shona is also interviewed by Christian Laurette for the (hopefully) upcoming Run from the Cure 2 Movie “Run 2 the Cure” and is featured in the trailer:

In the non-compassionate state of Kansas, where Shona lives, her son was at school attending a DARE educational presentation made by a member of the police department. The officer apparently spouted some pretty severe horseshit comments about marijuana and Shona’s son, having seen marijuana medicine save her life, spoke up against the officer and offered his own version of the benefits of the cannabis plant to the students. This, for some reason, angered the officer- who detained the son and ordered a search of Shona’s home- where some cannabis and cannabis oil she uses as medicine was found. Her son was taken from her by Kansas authorities, and she is now facing felony charges and the loss of custody of her son permanently. All this because her son dared to speak the truth- and she lives about 50 miles east of the border to Colorado- where this all would have been laughed away. Shona’s legal defense has been funded above its current need- but if you want to donate still to her defense fund please do so here because this may be a key court case for patients’ rights nationwide:

We at the vitamin cannabis team wish Shona nothing but positive thoughts and the best outcome for her and her family in all this. Ironically- today in the paper- Colorado’s legislature has approved a bill that will allow schools and parents to administer marijuana medicines on school premises if it is doctor recommended. This fixes the problem of kids who need CBD and THC blends but whose parents are forced to pick them up and cross the street to give them their life saving and life enabling meds. So in Kansas they arrest a mother and take her child over cannabis. In Colorado- we give it to them in schools- and it works. Amazing the difference a few miles can make…

In more Colorado news, 60,000 pot plants are in “quarantine”- and some were “destroyed” (read: someone took them home but said they threw them away) in Denver over banned pesticide use. The warehouse grows are inundated with bugs- and it takes some serious pesticides and work to control them. Lazy growers have been using pesticides that are toxic to humans when the bud is smoked- only now is the city of Denver cracking down on it. Some of the nutrients/pesticides in question are not all that bad- some are downright toxic and never should be used. I’m glad the city is taking these steps to curb the bad players out, but it still hurts to see cannabis plants “destroyed.” If testing comes back negative for toxicity, the plants will be allowed to be sold. I’ll let ya know in a future newsletter…

And speaking of updates, the $100 million dollar lawsuit over the RSHO toxic test results is being settled and I watched the video of the lab owner explaining how the mistake was made. We’ll see more “apology” videos from other players in the debacle shortly. In other CBD news- Realm of Caring has their product “Charlotte’s oil” available on for the first time. A milestone for the group and it offers hope to those suffering in non-compassionate states. Though I will still state: grow your own if you can in a legal state’s setting- it’s the best way to ensure your supply of medicine doesn’t get interrupted.

Congratulations to all the CBD groups, Phoenix Tears groups, and 420 event planners and attenders who made this 4-20-2015 the greatest one for Cannabis ever!! I thank you for bringing a green tear to my eyes :-) We’re reclaiming the freedom that God gave us!

Blessings and positive thoughts and energy your way-

Capn Cannabis

April 29th 2015

Hello, folks! This is the final newsletter before I visit the Cannabis Cup in Denver and Celebrate the 420 Holiday 2015. I’ll be attending the traditional 420 Rally on Saturday 4-18, the High Times Cannabis Cup on Sunday 4-19, and the old fashioned Political Rally at the Denver City Capital on the actual 4-20 Holiday. Denver is booming, folks; the housing market cannot catch up with the demand. People are moving here by the thousands. The Summer of the Love of Bud is on in Denver, and if you can be in the Mile High City that weekend, I would “highly” recommend it :-)

Rob Corry Jr., the Denver Marijuana Attorney Extraordinaire, has won another court case that the prosecutor wouldn’t even dare take to trial. It centers on the constitutional Amendment 20, which legalizes cannabis use in our state constitution, versus the Colorado state assembly drafted HB 1284, which creates super-constitutional regulatory laws on top of what the voters approved. The state has found, after millions of dollars in unsuccessful trials, that the citizens of Colorado- time and time again- when in a jury of 12- choose to side with the person growing the cannabis and not the state’s bullshit laws that were added later. The legislators and prosecutors continue to demean the citizens of our fine state by insisting we “didn’t know what we were doing” when we passed Amendment 20. But when it comes to jury trials they have lost every single one- and didn’t even take this one to a jury trial. It looks like we did know what we were doing- and by continuing to prosecute citizens on super constitutional laws- you spend tax payer dollars we would rather see go elsewhere. So stop it, please. Congratulations to Rob and his team for another victory in the war against cannabis prohibition that continues on despite what you may read in the papers and despite our “legality.”

The stories about the Cannabis Oil and its benefits, and CBD oil and its benefits, continue to expand through all forms of media. From a letter to the Editor in rolling stone, to radio podcasts now blasting the message, to small anecdotal reports creeping into major media. The patents and big pharma pills on the horizon also indicate a major shift in what information is allowed to seep into the mainstream thought and opinion machine. As of March and April 2015, we are starting to see major government agencies preparing to handle what is now being debated: the Rescheduling of marijuana in the drug code. But is it just hype?

From what I have witnessed, it could still go either way. There is one camp that says rescheduling is imminent- possibly even this month- because of several pending law suits that are tied up in the court system, which the rescheduling would eliminate. These include the lawsuit against Colorado by neighboring states and another suit by several of our own sheriffs who claim they are being forced to violate federal law by ignoring cannabis violations they see now on a daily basis. There is also a case in California where a judge has the power to send the rescheduling issue all the way to the Supreme Court, who could ignore it. It gets pretty complicated, but those who see rescheduling happening in the next few months point to these court issues, and banking and IRS reversals on dealings with canna-businesses- that a change is about to happen.

On the flip side, the big pharmaceutical companies could use their might to overrule ambitious de-regulators and continue to use the scheduling of marijuana as a buffer against competition. By running cannabis based medicine trials in places like Israel, the UK, and Spain, they can determine potency and side effects while American companies are restricted from all but anecdotal research. Rescheduling opens up the field to competition from a lot of cannabis based suppliers- and if there is one thing big industries don’t like, it’s fair competition. The “Perfect Corporation” I call out in my film could still delay for years the rescheduling of cannabis.

So as it stands- I’m hopeful we’ll get a 4/20 gift- and the talk about rescheduling will swell into action. But the wiser, older part of me who has seen this all go down, says it still could be 2 years away and not to get my hopes up. I don’t think writing letters to legislators will help- it’s up to what big business wants. They may want rescheduling because of legal technicalities in the drug law they just can’t get around. Or they may use those same technicalities to keep competition away. It’s part of the canna-drama- as the wall of prohibition crumbles. There’s one thing I do know. That damn wall is being torn down :-)

On a shitty note- Fecal Transplants for people with c. diff who just can’t get rid of it are now becoming more common place. Yes, I mean taking someone else’s shit and having it enema’d into you. Apparently it’s a thousand year old practice (I’ll remind everyone Dr. Zubrynski used human and animal urine in treatments for over a decade before he was finally forced to stop)- but there are side effects that can be very bad- though the cure rate seems so far to be very good. I’m not judging the treatment, or people who are desperate for a cure when modern medical science can’t cure them (or in this case, most likely, gave them the c. diff)- but the FDA now approved a “Poop Pill” that is made from tested donor feces, which is then frozen and encapsulated. Don’t worry- you don’t swallow the pill- (unless you want to?) it’s dissolved into a liquid then gravity drained into your rectum.

I’m only bringing this up to point out the BULLSHIT that is the fact that the FDA would never approve cannabis in a pill form- but they’ll approve a literal shit pill. I’m laughing and crying at the same time- I just can’t explain how this works anymore without launching into a rant about hypocrisy in our laws regarding “medicine.” And don’t get me started on the infringement upon religious substances currently banned- in favor of intoxicants that produce no spiritual experience whatsoever. But that’s a rant for another day, and another newsletter, and a separate meeting down by the docks…in the meantime-

I’m wishing you the most positive energy filled 4-20 holiday experience possible. Take a toke to your freedom. And if Cannabis freedom isn’t the reality tunnel you are looking through- be an evolution agent- and create your own reality tunnel- by moving to a compassionate state- or enacting change where you live. Change happened in Colorado- and it’s glorious. The green god shines down upon us all- as we grow the cannabis plant— everywhere. HAPPY 4-20!!

Live wise and humbly my friends,
Capn Cannabis
March 31st 2015

P.S. This year I will be taking two tokes 4-20 weekend in Denver to commemorate the lives of two great heroes, who are no longer with us. They would have loved to see the brilliance Cannabis legality really is in Colorado. So one toke to the late great Ken Gorman “Governor Pothead”, and another long toke to the immeasurable legend Jack Herer. I’m also celebrating 4-20 for two other Cannabis heroes who are still with us: Rick Simpson and Christian Laurette. Guys- I may be one of a handful of people who know that information you spread freely, at the perfect time, tipped the scales in favor of regulated legality of cannabis in Colorado instead of a clampdown that would have nipped it in the bud. For that, I’ll take tokes for you this 4-20, too. 😉

Viva la evolucion! – Kyle Marsh

Folks, 60 Minutes just did a special segment on Colorado’s first year of marijuana legality and they announced “The Sky hasn’t fallen.” In fact, our violent crime is down, road fatalities down, and even burglaries are down. Meanwhile, our economy is up… way up! The Ski resorts reported their best year ever, the economy was ranked #1 in the nation, and our #1 problem now is affordable housing for the thousands of people moving here. If San Francisco was a mecca in the 1960’s, Denver is the new city of hope and promise for both Marijuana Refugees seeking medicine, and the smartest and brightest of the up and coming generation, who have moved here for jobs and acceptance of their cannabis associated, or “plant based”, lifestyle. It’s going to be the Summer of the Love of Bud this year in the Mile High City. Won’t you join us for the Evolution? Come participate in the THC Test and Celebration :-)

But there are some Debbie Downers in the bunch, like the states of Oklahoma and Nebraska whose DA’s have chosen to sue the state of Colorado for our cannabis legality and the supposed problems it’s causing for the neighboring states. Personally, I think it’s a ridiculous lawsuit, and apparently so does a Republican State’s Rights supporting State Senator from one of the states, who has promised to join Colorado’s side if it goes to court. It’s hysterically funny. And John Suthers – a former enemy of cannabis – will now represent our state in the lawsuit and defend my right to use Cannabis. Ha Ha!! The prohibitionists used to rain shit down upon me and my band of cannabis merry makers; now the shit is being rained on them, as their fortress of bullshit collapses and I get to watch, while legally toking cannabis!

But Speaking of John Suthers, Colorado’s AG is going after a butane hash maker who blew up his house making shatter (wax, dabs) and is claiming he was making Cannabis Oil. Constitutionally I’m on the oil guy’s side, but I’m not in favor of butane hash oil and it certainly is not the same thing as Phoenix Tears, or my Vitamin Cannabis oil – which is made with ALCOHOL. The City of Denver legally recognizes her citizens’ right to make the oil in small batches using Alcohol, which will not blow up as easily as butane. But now, due to a comma written into the bill, John Suthers is arguing that all cannabis oil production is banned, regardless of method and cutting agents used. If he’s found right, it makes the Denver ordinance null and void because cannabis oil would become illegal on the state level.

Now I pray this doesn’t happen (so do thousands of refugees moving here just so they can legally make cannabis oil), and there is another bill in the state house that will attempt to make oil production illegal again. If it passes it will go to court again when an everclear oil manufacturer goes to a jury trial. It is ridiculous that even after legality I’m still facing the loss of my rights to make cannabis oil out of cannabis I grow myself. That’s the only way I can control the quality and to force me to buy it from a shop is ridiculous, monopolistic, and immoral. But, like I was famously told by the man implementing the laws, “Regardless of Morals, I have a business to run.” Those laws benefit big business, not patients or people. To make laws to prevent sick people from getting medicine from anyone is insane.

Lastly, the 2015 420 Rally in Denver will be on Saturday 4-18 and Sunday 4-19 this year- as far as being an official city permitted event. Another rally and march will still take place on Monday 4-20, around the capital, but only this march/event will be unpermitted, and illegal; a spontaneous (though planned) “Gathering of the People”, and that is just how the event started! The 420 events I attended in the past were never permitted by the city and the cops allowed us to congregate, begrudgingly, and quickly moved us out of the park and made arrests numerous times. There were years with 200 people, and years with a couple thousand. After activist Ken Gorman’s death, the rally became a meeting point for the minds that would legalize cannabis in Colorado soon after, just as Ken had told me before he was killed. Legality of cannabis has been a blessing to many and it all went down just the way he said it would. Now, in 2015, one year into what can only be described as a smashing success to cannabis legality, to see the event unpermitted by the city and in true original form again, it brings a tear to my eye and you know damn well I’ll be at the capital in Denver on 4-20-2015 to celebrate Cannabis, Ken Gorman, and Colorado’s first strike victory in the war on the drug I love: Kaneh Bosm.

My family and I had a wonderful Christmas. We hope you all are having a wonderful start to your new year. Positive thoughts to you and yours,

Kyle Marsh

8% & Tumor Help!

8% of the country now has legal weed!

Congratulations to the compassionate states of Oregon and Alaska for recognizing your citizens’ rights to this incredible plant! Cannabis should be legal everywhere immediately, but I’ll take these victories in the meantime. When my son was born pot was legal in 0% of the country; now at 3 years old we have 8%. It’s been an amazing journey and it’s not over yet!!

So would I want to become a rat murderer in order to further the cancer curing revolution we have ongoing right now?? The answer is a big “NO”, but believe me folks I would give tumors to rats right now in order to give them cannabis oil and see if we can eliminate the tumors. But we legally can’t do that so I’m asking my loyal readers for some help…

I currently have 3 patients with tumors right now. Patient J had stage 4 ovarian cancer, and now after nearly 5 years and over 120 grams of phoenix tears, her cancer has shrunk to barely a diagnosable stage 1, though the tumor is still inside her, and very hard. The doctors keep saying it looks like it’s growing and want to do more chemo, but over time we have seen the doctors are incorrect. Though the tumor remains stable in size, it isn’t growing very much (if at all) and ALL OF PATIENT J’s other numbers for normalcy in the body have returned to pre-cancer conditions! She can still feel the lump, but it is not painful, and it does not appear to be causing her any issues other than the doc’s continual insistence that they perform more chemo on it. She literally went from planning her funeral a few years ago, to planning her retirement this year…but we would like to see the tumor totally eliminated!

The second patient is a 55 pound dog with a giant tumor in her throat area that may or may not be cancerous. The Vet’s $3,000 surgery might clip an artery, so the dog’s owner was given a choice to try the surgery and if it didn’t go well, put the dog down or potentially have a year or two with a surgically affected animal who would not have been her usual K-9 self. The owner chose instead the unpresented option to try 15 grams of the high THC Phoenix Tears cannabis oil instead, and after 6 months we have seen the animal return to her puppy ways, including playing games she played as a puppy, and acting so happy and normal we felt sure the tumor was being eliminated. But it is not shrinking, instead it has just become hard and rock like. The dog is in no pain in the area, and is functioning quite normally. We have discussed our options, and other than rubbing on an alcohol based phoenix tears type tincture on the tumor area itself, we have only one other option: waiting for the dog’s quality of life to deteriorate to the point that we will risk directly injecting the cannabis oil into the tumor itself to see if that “breaks it up.”   One of many problems with this approach is that the dog’s quality of life is not deteriorating on the oil, so it may be a while before we make the injection attempt, and we would rather eliminate the tumor using another cannabinoid like CBD or CBG first and will do all else before considering direct injection.

The third patient is just in the beginning stages of a tumor treatment, and again the levels in the body are beginning to normalize and the patient seems to be doing well, but the tumor itself has not shrunk yet and it appears to be getting harder. Again, I will say that as long as these patients have been on the high potency THC cannabis oil, they will not die from the tumors, but the Vitamin Cannabis team and myself have made the realization, over 5 years of doing this, that we are 5% away from being able to totally cure cancer and the tumors associated with it. Rick Simpson’s Phoenix Tears Cannabis Oil medicine IS the Panacea he said it was, but we have learned the preparation and different cannabinoids in the oil does matter when we are dealing with difficult diseases.

So how can you help? I am asking for anyone with knowledge of tumor break ups to please contact me with what they have done; fail or succeed. I am also asking for advice on the injection of the cannabis oil into the tumor site in Patient K-9. Thirdly, there are articles and information online from the major pharmaceutical companies that another cannabinoid “CBG” or Cannabigirol, can serve as a tumor fighter. Is there anyone out there in the anecdotal world that has given a patient a heavy CBG or heavy CBD oil and seen a tumor break up?

Folks please remember Patient X’s story from the film. Eventually the tumor was shrunk to the point it could be cyber knifed out of the patient. If we can all come together and share our information, we can help each other and avoid waiting for the big pharm companies to patent, synthesize, and then release the meds on their own, which will take decades. Most of us don’t have decades to wait…

We ask for any information anyone may have regarding on site olive oil treatments of tumors, alcohol based or cream based treatments, CBD blends for tumors, and, if needed, direct injection advice. We will share the results with everyone!  When we figure out how to eliminate these hard tumors without surgery, we will all benefit from the knowledge. I can also not stress enough that these tumors do not kill the patient in the meantime as long as they continue on the cannabis oil. Any help anyone can provide we are thankful for and we are thankful just in general this year – for our lives, our friends and family, and the many canna-people we encounter everyday in our compassionate state of Colorado.

We hope you share the same thanks this holiday season,

Kyle Marsh
Capn Cannabis

P.S. Folks outside of America, I watched the amazing and honest documentary on Netflix “GMO OMG” and witnessed the rats develop giant tumors after eating the GMO products which are not allowed in most places outside the U.S. grip. In having discussed this with my American counterparts we have realized we are part of a giant horrific experiment in GMO’s and there is very little we can do to not consume GMO’s in this country without starving. Is it any coincidence that I am treating numerous tumors in people during this “experiment?” The perfect corporation is doing its best to make sure it survives and we don’t. We can’t let that happen folks…please watch the film and let me know what you think.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING 2014 from Capn Cannabis and the Vitamin Cannabis Team!

Howdy from the Spooky wild wild west of Denver, Colorado, folks! The all hallows eve and reformation day celebrations are in full swing this week. The Vitamin Cannabis Team and I wish you a safe and spooky Halloween 2014! :-)

In less scary news (unless you hate weed) it is JUDGEMENT DAY for Cannabis as a schedule one narcotic in this country. A single Circuit Court Judge holds our fate – so send positive energy to her in California – as she decides whether or not evidence exists to support a rescheduling of Cannabis. IF – and it’s a big IF – she sides with God and morality and says pot should be rescheduled, the federal government will immediately appeal to the Supreme Court of the United States of America. The Supreme Court can then choose to hear the case, and decide if an order to reschedule should go out, or they can “Back Door” cannabis rescheduling in the same way that gay marriage was actually legalized in all the states: by refusing to hear the case, thus validating the lower circuit court’s ruling. Now I’m no legal expert, but that is my understanding of the situation, and it gives cause for hope that eventually we can get this wonderful plant out of its ridiculous status in the federal drug scheduling.

If you’re just now hearing about CBD, then be proud you are first to hear about CBG, the new cannabinoid creating serious buzz as a tumor fighter and, also, one of the new cannabinoids that most labs can test for. For those of you in lucky states that still allow private personal cannabinoid testing, you can now see where your CBG levels are, in addition to THC and CBD. A friend of Vitamin Cannabis recently e-mailed me links to high CBG oil which is starting to appear in the more progressive, compassionate states. We are eager to see the results of the new CBG heavy strains and concentrates and their ability to break up difficult tumors. Look for CBG to start appearing in places near you!

There is a new $100 Million lawsuit against a private caregiver, a testing lab and its owner, and a second testing lab regarding a CBD product legally available and sold online. The Vitamin Cannabis team has received reports of numerous CBD oils sold online either being inactive (did nothing) or, in some case, caused extreme gastrointestinal distress or other harsh reactions including vomiting. We were attempting to have the oil tested ourselves when a ban on testing blocked us. We still managed to obtain the toxic test results, but did not post them to our site. I would like to say we would have had no involvement with this except for numerous people reporting and asking us for help in determining if the product was safe, and the company (when I contacted them directly at the cannabis cup) would not reveal where the hemp came from, or offer up toxicity tests of its own, which led to the underground movement to determine the safety of the product for human consumption. The company is pissed that it was revealed the stuff was potentially toxic and is now suing several good people who do not deserve the lawsuit.

Now this is all going to get hashed out in court (pun totally intended), but what we hope the overall result becomes is that the CBD oil’s producers be required to provide evidence the oil is safe, and its origins. I’m not saying the CBD oil products sold online by a wide variety of companies are all unsafe, but I am saying I would like the companies to be honest about where the hemp came from, how it was treated, and what the other ingredients are in the oil. The fact a company would sue people trying to determine a products safety after repeated people complained of bad reactions, I think, says the most about whether you should trust some of the products offered online.

To see the MOST HOPEFUL news story I have seen on the THC heavy cancer curing oil, please follow this link to see TEAM LANDON’s story in more detail. I can’t help but feel this is the first of many stories that will break into the main stream media and further the Phoenix Tears story. Sierra and Landon have been through so much- but to see the results- on the news- brings real tears to my eyes. It’s happening, folks, and thanks to brave people like TEAM LANDON, the truth will prevail! :-)

Lastly, I’d like to thank all the people who have personally contacted me the last month with links to information, videos, test results, politics, and breaking news regarding the cannabis movement. It was my 34th birthday October 9th and, while I am blessed with a beautiful and wonderful family, I also received a karmactic birthday present. An old friend stopped by with a new strain called “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Weed” that looks and smells just like THC filled buds, but this new strain has 15% CBD and less than .03% THC. It grows 4 feet tall and bushy; no 14 foot hemp plants. Sticky as all hell and some of the best weed I’ve seen. Only professionals and cannabis connoisseurs would be able to tell “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Weed” from high cannabis THC; I can’t imagine law enforcement officials worldwide will be able to tell it’s not THC weed. That creates an enforcement issue in the near future, and is one more beacon of light in the dark indicating Hemp/Cannabis is about to go legal worldwide. I was blessed to receive a quarter ounce of the “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Weed” for my birthday, thanks CBD Bill. It was fantastic!

I’ll leave you all with some pictures of the new CBD strain that can be legally grown and transported anywhere Hemp is legal! Tell me it’s not high THC stuff :-). Click for full size images.

Howdy from the Wild Wild West Mile “Legally” High City of Denver, folks!

From the largest city in the state with the best economy (yeah…it’s because of the weed), I bring you greetings and salutations, marijuana musings, and news of cannabinoid victories in our state. Open your hearts and minds and here we go!

For starters, according to, the latitude of Denver is “39 44’20 N.” I just find it fitting that there’s a “420” in our numerical location. 420 is now embedded in our culture, and if it wasn’t for the 420 Marijuana Legalization rallies held each year which got the ball rolling, we wouldn’t have the blessings of hemp and cannabis freedom we enjoy today. I’m not too into the numbers of things, but all 420’s stick out to me – on license plates, serial numbers, and, as it turns out, my geographical location on planet earth. :-)

In major news, the Colorado Department of Health once again tried to place unconstitutional limits on caregivers in our state who privately care for thousands of the marijuana refugees that have flocked to our state for treatment with cannabis medicines that work when all else fails. One individual cares for 80 patients with epilepsy who need a specific CBD plant (Note: it’s not all just CBD, many epilepsy patients use THC/CBD blends). When he brought some of the children he treats and their parents to the state house to testify in a public comment session, there was no way the board could vote against forcing 70 children to find another caregiver. It’s a complicated situation, but the department did the right thing by avoiding this issue… for now… Other attacks on greenhouse growing in favor of highly polluting warehouse grows is on the horizon, and I’m sure the caregiver/patient number issue will be revisited in the future.

In other pot news, the Israeli government did an extensive study on cannabis and PTSD and found immediate cannabis use right after the traumatic event resulted in a significant decrease in the symptoms and future damage. No surprise, cannabinoids can cross the ultra-protective blood brain barrier, and once there they operate to protect and repair the brain itself. Funny how a substance that did that would remain illegal for so long.

Hempcrete is also in the news a lot, with a video you can see here of it blackening but not burning under a propane torch test. For people building in areas that may be prone to wildfires, hempcrete is an incredible option, and we hope to see it being used more in Colorado and elsewhere very soon. More research is also being done on hemp as an energy storage facilitator. It’s absolutely amazing what this plant’s products can be made into. Here is the video:

There is news from Realm of Caring announcing they will begin getting their medication to patients everywhere soon. Congratulations to Realm and all involved in this monumental achievement. There is an awesome article that includes many details that only people actually caring for kids with epilepsy/autism can use, that I’m including here:

But the biggest news of all comes from a familiar source: TEAM LANDON in Colorado Springs. All I can say is watch the video on the link below, but only if you want to see a kid who had leukemia vaping a cloud pen and a stunned newscaster asking the question: “Does Cannabis Really Cure Cancer?” Landon’s test results are amazing, from dying of cancer to only needing checkups to make sure the cancer hasn’t come back. All by using cannabis oil/phoenix tears. It’s newsworthy, it has been for a long time, and now it’s finally on the actual news. The story is changing, too; now instead of focusing on whether cannabis oil should be given to children, the news is focused on real cure stories they can’t deny. It reminds me of when I made part two of Vitamin Cannabis called “Save the Children.” I had hoped it would happen sooner, but I’m glad it’s finally happening. Others are seeing it’s the children who are most vulnerable to disease, and it’s kids who benefit most from the cannabis oil.

To Rick Simpson and Christian Laurette, Landon’s story of life is your story continued. Landon and his mom Ran from the Chemo and ran to the cure, thanks to you guys. I hope you’ll watch the video and see just what is happening here in Colorado where compassion rules the day. View story here:

We hope you find the fall weather turns your cannabis purple. Keep the faith, keep spreading the word, we are all making a difference, folks, we truly are. :-)

Viva la evolucion – viva la revolucion,

We lost two patients this past month and, though it is hard, we have provided relief at the end. To the families of Patient M and Patient C: our thoughts and prayers are with you. Even in our compassionate state, often we don’t have enough time, and God has other plans for his angels. Patients M and C are with the vibration of God and Love now, and the Vitamin Cannabis team sheds tears for them. God bless the children.

To that end, folks, the Phoenix Tears regimen can be done alongside chemo and radiation. There is no need to stop treatment to try the tears (though chemo and radiation can go bad quickly, so I would be careful). The most successful approaches involve the cannabis oil combined with good traditional medical care. I would like to see caregivers, like myself, get patients before they become stage 4. I reiterate my offer to treat any child with cancer in the state of Colorado with 3 grams of Phoenix Tears oil at no cost.

On a positive note, Patient J – a stage 4 Ovarian Cancer survivor – will hit 5 years since diagnosis in February of next year. We may be jumping the gun a bit, but a chance encounter in a pizza shop where information about Phoenix Tears was dispensed has led to her not only surviving this long, but thriving. She is currently on 2.3 grams daily (almost 2000 MG of Cannabinoid POWER!) and is past the point of the “tireds” and has energy once again. Some would say too much energy :-). She and her husband are now caregivers themselves and that makes me very happy. :-).

Staying on the positive energy this time, folks, with the music of Tom Petty’s “U Get Me High”, Jake Bugg’s “Lightning Bolt”, and Kacey Musgrave’s “Follow Your Arrow” playing on my headphones as I type this message to you. I’ve watched Aronofsky’s “Noah”, a brilliant film “Snowpiercer”, and went semi-old school with “Idiocracy.” I’m feeling the vibrations of the planet, watching the chemtrails and laughing, and practicing basic Cannabis Alchemy – which has very complicated and fantastic results!! I’m sending positive vibes your way right now~~~ :-).

I’ve been reading the Shulgin’s TIHKAL book, which is amazing :-). And I got ready for the experience by reading Tom Wolfe’s “Electric Kool Aid Acid Test” which was also amazing! I see a little of the Merry Prankster’s spirit in the Vitamin Cannabis team. Aldous Huxley’s “Doors of Perception” opened my mind further and, as Bill Hick’s would say, I had my 3rd eye squeegeed quite clear :-)

What I’m seeing now are things I was told I’d never see, like pot being legal in my home state, my kids growing up bold and beautiful, and Colorado’s economy was just named the strongest in America by a major business publication. It’s because of pot, people!

Soon Marijuana will be legal in all areas and the medicine will be available to those who are suffering. Help will arrive in time. Relief is on the way, just hang in there and stay positive until the waves of change sweep through your area.

I’ve realized it’s a choice to stay positive through all this and I urge you to choose with me to stay moral, stay hopeful, stay risky, and stay full of life.  This bowl is to the souls and spirits.

Hello folks!

The 4th of July experience in Colorado was ridiculous!! It seems, for some strange reason, that a lot of people had a bunch of extra money lying around in cash they decided to spend on fireworks. My kids and I were treated to many fireworks shows going off in all neighborhoods of the city despite the fireworks ban. The smell of sulfur in the air, the loud pops and booms, the bright lights of exploding colored flames in the sky. Legality of marijuana hasn’t brought the devil to Denver just yet.  In fact recent reports indicate our violent crime, suicide, and drunk driving fatality rates are all down. Those are all reasons to be extra happy this independence day; and many were celebrating Cannabis independence too!

New numbers are in showing Colorado tourism hit 17.3 Billion dollars. A NEW STATE RECORD!! Our ski slope communities saw considerable gains, our tax coffers have been filled, and even a former PRISON in Brush, CO may be turned into a Cannabis grow facility!!

Nationally, “Charlotte’s Bill” rescheduling Hemp and CBD may become law federally, NY is advancing its CBD and medical marijuana bills, and Oregon will vote this year on Recreational Marijuana. Also from the Big Apple: the New York Times editorialized the end of Marijuana Prohibition and it led to jokes on the Tonight show, but also an acceptance that legality and rescheduling is coming in the very near future.

New legal limits for recreational marijuana in Colorado set at 10 mg per serving are forcing many edibles manufacturers out of business, as the state has said that 100 mg total per edible must be divided into 10 mg portions (to help avoid over-intoxication, they say.) This new law means a medicated potato chip manufacturer who used to sell bags of THC infused olive oil drenched potato chips in 100 mg bags would now have to separate the bag of chips into 10 different bags with only 3 chips in each bag inside a larger bag containing all 10 bags of 3 chips. Instead of continuing to make THC infused chips, this manufacturer has folded up shop. The costs and pain in the ass factor of following this regulation once again favors big business models who can afford the testing and packaging required to produce edibles for recreational use in Colorado. This only affects recreational users, this does not affect Colorado Medical Marijuana patients

But back to positive notes:
On a recent trip to our excellent amusement park in the heart of the city, Elitch Gardens, which I’ve gone to since I was a child, I was blessed to overhear a conversation behind me in line from a young woman from South Carolina expressing to her friend just how shocked she was to smell cannabis being consumed everywhere in the city (even in line for a roller coaster, or immediately after the rush as I witnessed the guy in front of me do). She was happy about it – thrilled, in fact – and her friends just laughed as she said, “Do you know what would happen in South Carolina if you smoked pot in line at an amusement park? The cops would be on you in a heartbeat!” Her male friend added (erroneously) “You can hit a bowl in front of a cop here and they can’t do shit.” (Not true; do not do it!)

We have many exciting things we are working on currently and we hope to have more good news coming soon. In the meantime, thanks once again to Rick Simpson and Christian Laurette for all they have done. We are all truly blessed to be working with this Cannabis oil.

Positive thoughts everyone’s way!

Capn Cannabis July 31st 2014

Howdy folks from the wild wild west!

Denver, the Mile Legally High city was in full marijuana rebellion spirit over the 4-20 weekend and it has taken me this long to recover to write the recap! I had a great time, and though “the filthy white lines that the airplanes leave behind” did their best to rain out our 4-20 celebration it did little to dampen the dank times we all had.

I started my Saturday April 19th at the High Times Cannabis Cup. Parking was a nightmare; cars from NY, Alaska, MS, MI, RI and even Canadian license plates! Fortunately, I had friends leaving who gave me their spot, so Hemp Girl and I were able to be in the recreational marijuana section of the Cannabis Cup at 4:20 PM. To my surprise, I was one of just a few people commemorating the moment. I brought a little of our Jack Herer strain grown from seed to have a special toke to Jack, Ken Gorman, and the others who are with us in spirit, watching this all happen. From there we walked around the huge venue and marveled at all the out-of-staters and international visitors to the cup whose wide eyes were easy to spot. There were a few booths (of the 500!) that had actual growing marijuana plants on display. Many event goers paused to touch the plant leaves, and nervously squeeze a bud. These were the first pot plants these people had ever touched. They took cell phone photos, posed, and I’ll never forget the smiles on their faces as they had their plant cherries popped. I take for granted the fact I’ve now worked with tens of thousands of pot plants; seen them, held them, trimmed them, loved them… For people in other parts of the world, working hands on with a cannabis plant would still get them prison time. For me, it gets me a legal paycheck…or at least it used to :-).

Although I have spoken at the Ken Gorman Memorial 4-20 Marijuana Legalization Rally the past two years (it has been a great honor), this was the first year the rally was not named in Ken Gorman’s honor, and it was the first year a private commercial events company took over the running of the rally. Many longtime activists like myself were excluded from speaking at this year’s event, mainly due to the fact that my speeches from the past two years – if given this year – would have caused the event organizers to lose their permits, as I would have encouraged illegal civil disobedience from the crowd by asking them to “take a toke to their freedom.” So when I woke up 4-20-2014 and suddenly felt Ken Gorman’s spirit urging me to head to Civic Center Park anyways, I loaded my bowl and headed downtown. After passing through security, and posing under a large sign reading “Public Marijuana Use is illegal”, which was forced by the city of Denver, for a photo op, I merged into the center of the crowd. I got out my bowl, but paused for a second as the spirit of Ken was strong around me. I put the pot away and got out my camera and began taking video of the crowd – right as three Denver Police Officers made their way right to me! In past rallies, the police could not walk through the crowd. Not so this year; the police were attempting to bust me for smoking my pipe with cannabis at the 420 marijuana rally, but since I had no pipe in my hand there was nothing they could do but retreat back into the crowd, which parted like a sea to let them out. It’s an entertaining video I’ll use in Vitamin Cannabis 2 :-).

After the incident, I was handed a joint by a fellow rally goer next to me and it was the lone time all 4-20 weekend I smoked pot with a stranger. It was not like that in the past, we all used to smoke together. This year was not as political, not as revolutionary, not a big deal at all – even though it was a big deal!! It’s strange to see this all as “normal” now when we used to be labeled and targeted for our beliefs that cannabis was harmless and should be legal. We used to be chased out of the park; now we were herded into it. Another stage was set up – I heard later – that had a political element, but with the music stage blasting tunes it was difficult to focus on anything other than the main stage. During B.O.B.’s performance at 4:20 PM 4-20-2014, I felt Ken Gorman and Jack Herer smiling down on all of us. 10,000 gathered in a park smoking cannabis at the same time. It was different this 4-20 for sure, but it was still epic, amazing and something to behold. I think back to the early rallies with just a few hundred brave souls. I’ll tell my kids about those days because they will never be seen again…

In local news, the Colorado Symphony Orchestra has announced three BYOC events, with the BYOC standing for “Bring Your Own Cannabis.” It seems the orchestra is about to go into financial ruin and these concerts are a last ditch effort to bring a newer younger audience to the traditional stuffy class of concert going people. Many tuxedo wearing old school orchestra supporters are pissed, but let’s be honest, there aren’t a lot of them left. If the symphony doesn’t do something to bring in new people, it won’t be around. So even though many “letters to the editor” of our local papers decry the symphony head for these BYOC concerts, many people are planning on attending and bringing their own cannabis to consume while listening to some epic music. I see no problem with Buds and Beethoven, or Symphony 420. :-)

In the “Piss Me Off” section of the newsletter: the Perfect Corporation has found a way to stop me from doing cannabinoid testing of our oils and cannabis. It’s not just me they are blocking, they have blocked all ordinary citizens from testing, including the parents of children who need the cannabis oil and use testing to ensure their kids are getting what they need. (See link here: It is a sad act and there was a two page rant on why the Colorado State government is blocking testing that I had written, but, in the hopes of staying positive, I’m not going to include it. I’m just going to say I hope that testing from patients is restored in Colorado soon. Another caregiving friend has pointed me to a lab for you east coasters, though. So here is a link to them: (NOT DOT COM!).

Lastly, regarding the ancient Hebrew anointing oil called “Kaneh Bosm.” For a long time now I have known the biblical references to a cannabis, myrrh and frankincense based oil known in the ancient Hebrew texts as Kaneh Bosm. I attended private Christian school through 6th grade, memorizing many sections of the Bible. I am also the 4th son of a Virginia minister who runs a large church program still to this day that reaches millions of people. I have always been a man of strong faith in God, a higher power, and the spirit of the earth that resides in, and connects us all. My 2 year old daughter is named Serafina Faith, after the Seraphim angels, and my faith in God.

When I began working with the phoenix tears oil I felt a strong holy presence while making the medicine. Then after Vitamin Cannabis was released the e-mails began, from people asking me if I knew I was releasing the secrets of the Knights of the Templar, and also from religious people asking about the Kaneh Bosm and implying the cannabis oil I was making was the same. In researching ancient religious texts, I discovered what they were saying had basis in fact. Written in ancient languages, a recipe for an oil that could extend life or even bring people back from near death. The Knights of the Templar existed for centuries, being sought out by kings and nobles for their life extending treatments. In the bible, Jesus uses the Kaneh Bosm to cure blindness and leprosy, both of which could be treated with large amounts of cannabis oil, or what we call today, the Phoenix Tears.

I felt so strongly the spiritual calling of the Kaneh Bosm I considered naming my consulting company after the sacramental oil, but not being of Jewish decent I wondered if that might be offensive to some. In talking with a fellow trimmer about the Kaneh Bosm, and my feelings that God is present when I’m making it, he casually mentioned he had heard many people discovering, through DNA testing, that they did in fact have Hebrew blood in them, even if they did not seem or “look” Jewish.

I have always felt connected to ancient Africa, Israel and connected greatly to American Indian Tribes, but like most mainly and obviously white people, it never occurred to me that we all might really have descended from the same place regardless of what we looked like. In Christian school they always told us we all came from Adam and Eve, and in my metaphysical studies the “All of Us Are One” mantra seemed to be saying the same thing: we all came from the same place. Could it be true?

So I decided I needed an answer; something in writing that would let me know once and for all where I came from, what blood and DNA flows through me. I sent away for a DNA test and a month later I found out the reason I felt so connected.  It is true, we are all one…

Below is a copy of my DNA test which shows very clearly that, despite what I look like, I am 3% African, 3% Native American, and 1% Jewish in addition to my 91% mainly European other influences.

If someone like myself can have origins 5,000 years ago in Africa and Israel, we all do! I’m not unique or special, we all are!! We are all God’s children; from our DNA to our bones to the blood that flows through us. What reverberates through me, reverberates through you, reverberates through all of us. The vibration of life stemming from long ago still runs through these veins.

I’m glad I discovered where I came from, so many moons prior. I would urge you all to look into DNA testing to find your origins. Find out why you feel the way you do.

We really are all one; we really are all connected. We really all came from the same place. Now if we could just get ourselves back to the garden again… :-)

May the blessings of peace, love, and beauty embrace your life…

Positive thoughts to you all.

Folks, the Vitamin Cannabis team has been having a little fun lately using a book called “Cannabis Alchemy” from 1974 – and attempting to make a 99% THC “Shatter” or Wax, as it’s called here in the Mile High city. I’ve included the test results here: The goal is to make a pure THC shatter- then I’m going to eat it and “Trip THC.” We came damn close- making a shatter that reached 82% THC and 7% CBD- for an 89.5% batch. The Shatter- when “dabbed” is the most amazing high I’ve had- like being back in high school again. We have put our 99% experiments on hold while we continue to focus on Cannabis Oil Phoenix Tears batches to cure people and extend lives; which, by the way, we also have a new test of – and not surprisingly – we hit 83% Cannabinoid content! (We usually hit 80% for what I consider to be actual “Phoenix Tears” medicine.) You can see the results below (end of newsletter/update). What was surprising, however, was our 3% CBN rating! It’s the highest CBN we have hit in a batch of the Tears. Ideally, testing could lead to specific oil’s with specific cannabinoids for specific diseases. If the big pharma companies don’t synthesize or illegalize the Cannabinoids, then release their proprietary medicine on their own.  The “Perfect Corporation” is trying to put the brakes on our amateur alchemist testing- so I don’t know how many more tests I’ll be able to bring you all as the laws are changing to protect big companies- but I’ll keep trying, folks…please buy a movie if you can- there are only 40 left of the 100 I made and your support keeps our testing going.

I am blessed to be in Colorado and have access to a team of growers who provide me with the best medicine available on earth. I’m not bragging, I’m just in Colorado! To that end, I came across a Harlequin made Phoenix Tears oil medicine and, wanting to try a true “CBD High”, I took 1.5 grams and put it into capsules and took it – over 1000 mg of CBD and 420 MG of THC – and I must say it was amazing!! It was like taking a high level pain pill but without the “medicine head” the pain pills leave you with. I was functional, happy, getting stuff done, and a little bit high as well, but in a good way. There were no ill effects to taking over 1000 mg of CBD at once, and I must say I would do 1000 mg of CBD every day of my life if I could. It was that good.

To make sure my CBD experiment was valid- the next week I took 1.5 grams of our traditional 80% THC Phoenix Tears medicine – 1000 MG of THC with very little CBD. I was GONE!! Too high!! I could do it again, but it would have to be spread out across the day, not all at once. I felt great the next few days, but I would not repeat my 1000 MG of THC in one dose experiment without using a heavy CBD blend to counteract the severe high I felt, or some citicoline. I basically had a mild THC trip on just the oil – which I’ve done before, but never all at once. It leads me to believe that a more balanced blend of THC/CBD oil could be the miracle panacea we are all searching for- and we are starting to see these blends available in Colorado. My experience was phenomenal on the CBD/THC blend. I was just too high on the THC pill. For curing cancer, though, I wouldn’t mind being a little high. :-)

On a sad note, activist Roland A. Duby – AKA Ronnie Smith – a Cancer Cure activist who helped edit the last Jack Herer’s “Emperor Wears No Clothes” book and treated over 300 people with cannabis oil himself, lost his long battle with leukemia and passed into the next realm in early April. I never met Ronnie personally, but early on in the Vitamin Cannabis story when there was no one supporting us and our claims other than Rick Simpson and Christian Laurette, I received an e-mail from Roland. He offered support, resources, answered questions, and passed on good karma to our team. We picked up a copy of “Emperor Wears No Clothes” and found his name in it – and my whole team was a little relieved that some people in America were aware of what we were doing. It offered us some protection – we felt – that others knew. Besides Christian and Rick, Roland was our only support in the beginning. Ronnie didn’t have to write those e-mails to me during a dark time for us. But he did- and I’m thankful for them to this day. Roland: this 4:20 PM bowls to you…and the positive change you affected in your lifetime. Viva la evolucion, Brother…

Everyone please have a happy, safe, epic, and wonderful 4-20-2014! Take a toke to your freedom – and the freedom others don’t yet share. The battle is over in Colorado & Washington, but the Drug War Soldiers still have work to do – the War is not won. If you are coming to Colorado for the festivities, I’ll see you at the Cannabis Cup. :-) Viva la evolucion, viva la oil!!
