Holiday Greetings to everyone who is jolly this day of remembrance of our creator, and also what is holy and good in this world. May you raise a toast to the blessings of our lives, and hug those close to you. Tell your mom and dad you love them, tell your friends you are grateful for them in your life, and remind yourself this life is just a ride, love is eternal, and you can be happy with how you are right now. Commemorate the love and joy we experience as you create new love and joy. Forget the sorrow, let the water flow under the bridge, and move forward with confidence into the New Year. This journey gets more epic everyday – and I’m thankful for you all riding along with me. Merry Cannabis Christmas 2013 :-)

Now to get down to business…

We are excited to announce that as a direct result of the Realm of Caring Foundation in Colorado Springs, and their CBD “Charlotte’s Web” strain, 11,000 children with Dravet Syndrome (a form of epilepsy) will receive a GW Pharmaceutical copy of the Stanley’s CBD Cannabis Oil, in a large scale attempt to cure the disease using cannabis once and for all. The FDA has approved the treatment of 5,000 kids in the U.S., and another 6,000 will be treated across the EU. I would like to congratulate everyone involved, this is a Christmas miracle for many families afflicted with a child suffering from the multiple seizures a day disease. The Realm of Caring foundation went from caring for a few kids, to 30, to 90, to a waiting list in a short time frame. This caused massive parent demand across the U.S., who demanded action both from their doctors and legislators. The parents threatened to move to Colorado, and many families, tired of waiting, have made the move here for the medicine. Now others will not have to wait; come January 2014. It’s a Christmas blessing that so many kids will have an option presented to them in the New Year.

When I made Vitamin Cannabis Part 2 “Save the Children”, it was intended to speed up the rate at which cannabis medicines could be administered to children. Once I realized the panacea the Oil is, I had time to think about who deserved to take the medicine first. I came to the easy conclusion it is the children who have exhausted all other options who deserve to have this medicine first.  It brings tears to my eyes to know that soon it will happen. First this, and soon, kids with cancer will be cured. Rick and Christian: know you are responsible for these 11,000 kids who may be cured as much as anyone. The info you put out about the Phoenix Tears will “officially” benefit kids through the allopathic system, and though that part may be bittersweet, we are all blessed to have been a part of it. Merry Cannabis Oil Christmas, guys :-)!

Conveniently, at the same time an official CBD medicine is released through the allopathic system, the FDA & DEA have announced via memo that CBD is illegal to sell across state lines. They claim it has been illegal all along, with cannabidiol classified as part of the cannabis plant, which is a schedule 1 drug. Why they have been allowing CBD sales online through various sources is a mystery, but rumor has it official letters will go out and CBD may be banned entirely except for at medical marijuana centers. If the DEA reschedules soon, though, perhaps in time with the financial decision to “Yellow Light” the banking industry to handle cannabusiness accounts, we may see CBD without THC available, but for now – get it while you can.

There is an article listing the 13 reasons Cannabis had its best year ever, and no surprise the Stanley’s “Charlotte’s Web” story takes #1. Also on the list: legality in the states of Colorado and Washington, as well as worldwide in Uruguay. It’s a list worth checking out – and hinted as to what’s to come in 2014. A study on THC killing Leukemia Cells is highlighted. Cannabis oil medicine as a cancer cure is next, folks…but of course you already know that! Check out the article here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/12/20/marijuana-2013_n_4467485.html

In Local news, the Denver City council did a 180 reversal on its policy on smoking pot on private property in the city and, instead of banning it, totally allowed it. No more worries about your neighbor snitching on you for taking a toke in the backyard. However, the same council did ban growing 12 plants or more in any one residential location. This ruins college dorm plans to group all the plants together in the basement for a massive grow –which would be legal, though ill advised. It’s still unfortunate the 12 plant limit. At least the city did appoint a new Chief of Marijuana Policy as a paid city of Denver governmental position. A few years ago they were jerks about pot, increasing citations despite a law making it lowest law enforcement priority. Now that they’ve seen the money, they can’t rush in quick enough to take their share…

Can you say “GREEN RUSH!” It’s on in Denver as 5 to 12 recreational pot shops will be open January 1st to tourists and non-medical patients in Colorado. 200 more will open in the following months. It’s a historical day for our state and the nation, as the first fully regulated state sanctioned system for recreational pot sales goes into effect. Numbers for sales in both Colorado and Washington for pot sales were DOUBLE what was expected last year- and the CO MED office turned away 245 people seeking a pot job badge to work in the industry in one day. 3,000 to 5,000 jobs would be created monthly if they had enough clerks to handle all the applications each day. Instead they process 10 to 30 a day, and badge 300 to 1000 people each month. I was lucky to get in early and get my badge in two days. I’ve had friends go eleven times. It’s just the perfect corporation trying to buy Colorado a little time, before the rest of the states wake up and realize just how much of an economy saver marijuana can be…

I watched “Vice”; it’s a documentary on Cannabis Oil that featured a little girl in Oregon battling cancer, assisted by cannabis oil in bubble gum flavored capsules. Capsuline company makes the flavored capsules, and has partnered with the Phoenix Tears Foundation to distribute some pill cases to those in need. I recommend strongly watching the VICE video to see an amazing story by clicking here: http://www.vice.com/weediquette-show/stoned-kids

On a quick non-cannabis note – thousands of students with potential exposure to Meningitis who received an illegally imported vaccine at a major Ivy League university, are proven to be worth more than public school students. The exact same virus outbreak at a California Public school does not warrant an illegal vaccine importation. I guess everyone has “Affluenza” but it’s heartbreaking to see what is done for some that is not done for others. I’m told that’s the way it’s always been, but I choose to radiate love to all, regardless of income level or social status. I think that’s the way it should be.

One last final disturbing but hopeful note that probably should have been near the top of this letter: the DEA has rescheduled Cannabis extracts into the Drug Schedule. This includes Cannabis Oil, wax, shatter, and all other concentrates of the cannabinoids in the plant. I say this is a hopeful move because it sets the stage for the government to lower the Cannabis plants schedule, but keep the extracts (i.e. the cancer cure) illegal to produce. This would give them a monopoly on the real medicine from the plant by allowing the FEDS to still bust anyone making cannabis concentrates. The states could decide their own laws on the plant itself without interfering with extracts which would remain illegal. It’s an odd situation, but we should see rescheduling of the Cannabis plant in the first 4 months of 2014. That would give a lot of people all over the ability to grow it – and that is a good thing, something to be hopeful for – as we approach the New Year.

And speaking of 2014, I wish you all the best and safest times this holiday season… Merry Cannabis Christmas to you all, and remember you are all loved. I thank you for your dedication to the cause; only the true believers read this far.

Thanks :-),
Kyle Marsh

There is both happy and sad news to report in this month’s newsletter – first, the Cannabis community in Colorado lost a kindred spirit in Jenny Kush, whose life was taken by a drunk driver. She was active in the medical marijuana community, and leaves behind four children. Her car was smashed into head on by a drunk driver on a suspended license for a previous DUI, heading the wrong way on a highway HOV lane. There are not enough words to describe the loss – only tears. You can read Jenny’s story in this Westword story here: http://www.westword.com/2013-09-19/news/life-and-death-of-jenny-kush/

I’ll try to move on to happy news…

The Attorney General of the United States Federal Government, with a few stamps, undid 70 years of Cannabis prohibition in Colorado and Washington, by declaring they would allow the laws legalizing marijuana to be implemented. It’s a historic event for sure, and a Green Rush is on in compassionate states as a result – but it was on in Colorado well before. It’s not reclassification in the Drug Schedule chart, but it’s a good start and the states that have legal pot are prepared to lead the way as the world converts to Cannabis medicine and hemp energy and food.

Speaking of hemp, since our states flooding, we must believe our crop of hemp planted next year will be of epic proportions. And we will need it, to undo the toxic damage the spilled fracking fluid has left on miles of farmland. The flood was truly of biblical proportions, we had a family member’s house flood at 9,000 feet in the mountains. But still, through it all, I worked my job trimming cannabis at an old church converted to a house of cannabis. Still religious – to me.

A quick stat to ponder: a human being dies in America every 19 minutes from Prescription Drugs. Thanks Dr. Feelgood.

In local news, the recreational use marijuana laws being passed by various cities look good, especially in Denver. Retail sales of cannabis begin in Colorado in most places on January 1st – no medical marijuana permit needed at all. Exciting! Not so fantastic: a little boy in Colorado Springs is being forced into chemotherapy by doctors, despite the fact her Phoenix Tears medicine is working and has eliminated most of the problems. The doctors are threatening to call Child Protective Services on the mother – who is only looking out for the best interests of her son. Any parent would choose a natural treatment that is working over a harsh treatment that doesn’t. You can support the mother by signing a petition here: http://www.change.org/petitions/governor-hickenlooper-colorado-springs-pd-colorado-cps-denver-children-s-hospital-recognize-cannabis-as-an-effective-treatment-for-landon-s-cancer

We are proud to announce the Vitamin Cannabis team had a patient come back from the oncologist with a “cancer in total remission” diagnosis after facing Ovarian Cancer and beating it with Cannabis Oil in just 12 grams!!! Previously, we had only seen this in 60 gram “reset” attempts. It was done over 6 months using only T2 (.04) gram pills 3 times a day. In the effort to spread the information, we have posted the test results of the batch of oils used to accomplish this at our website. It may be that THC Acid, in large amounts, plays a larger role in the restorative process than we first thought. We are all shocked, amazed, and proud of this modern medical miracle, all done with ordinary plants and utensils, all courtesy of Rick Simpson and Christian Laurette! :-)

And on one final note to close out September… when Colorado legalized marijuana, the naysayers foretold companies and people fleeing the state and it’s drugged out culture. After 9 months of cannabis legality quite the opposite has occurred. Our tourism is still up, way up! (Literally they are high, and there are hundreds of them coming to Colorado just for the pot.) Our housing market is up, as more people are moving to our city and state for compassionate care and jobs in the industry. Denver is the fastest growing city in the Wild Wild West of America, and saw a city budget surplus this year for the first time in five years since the recession began. It’s not all the pot tax dollars, it’s all the other dollars that get added up in the growing, processing, selling, and consumption of the grand plant cannabis.

I had the pleasure of working with a young man from Indiana on his first day as a cannabis trimmer/harvester at the legal cannabizness I work for. He was a “pothead” in his home state, working toward and hoping for medical cannabis where he grew up. When the governor of his state told everyone he would veto any medical marijuana bill that came to his desk the young man packed up his things, and took his money and his mind to Colorado. He had a job in our “industry” within two weeks. He is not addicted to heroin or hard drugs. He, like me, just always found pot to be our Drug of Choice.

Now he’s here in our state and your state loses out because your leaders can’t wrap their cannabinoid deficient heads around a medicinal plant that also has so many other wonderful uses and possibilities. I wish it could be legal everywhere now, but in the meantime, Colorado and the Mile High City will welcome your best and brightest young men and women who have a desire to make a difference in their lives, their community, and the world as a whole. How dare you stand in the way of that progress, Guvner?? A quick warning to the non-legal states from someone watching what is happening in Colorado: LEGALIZE CANNABIS IMMEDIATELY or you will not only lose money to us (we’ll gladly take it), but you will also lose your best employees, students, and workers. It’s your choice – the End of Prohibition clock is ticking….tick…tick…tick….

            Happy Fall!

                        September 2013

Hello everyone- I hope your flowers are in bloom and some THC/CBD per day is keeping the Doctor’s away. :-)

I was visited by Lady Harlequin and CBD Bill the other day, and I posted a video of it you can watch here:

<iframe width=”420″ height=”315″ src=”http://www.youtube.com/embed/E4afLD1BufM” frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>

CBD Bill has a lot of great information about Cannabidiol, which may be the glue that sticks us together as it relates to the endocannabinoid system. Bill will also give you a cutting of his CBD heavy strain Harlequin if you contact him at the e-mail address in the video. It’s awesome to see people with incredible plant knowledge coming to Colorado to share what they know, which can benefit us all. I hope to continue to bring you videos through my YouTube that contain rare people and plants. If you listen close, CBD Bill imparts vast knowledge. Let’s prove this cannabis panacea cure-all, get cured, never get disease, live 150 years, and go to space. It’s a fun message, and entirely possible with Cannabis. :-)

In local Colorado Cannabis news, our Governor will sign into law the legislatures Amendment 64 (marijuana legalization) implementation bills, and also legalize industrial hemp, on Tuesday at the Colorado State Capital. It’s sure to be a historic signing – and I’m proud of our state, and her people. Legal hemp and somewhat legal cannabis with THC – wow! There was a time we all thought it would be California that legalized first. Now I get to watch history happen here in my state – incredible! Don’t worry, I’m sure your next, Cali!

In Global Cannabis News, the International Olympic Committee has decided to increase the amount of THC allowed in an athletes’ blood without disqualifying him to 150 nanograms of THC per 1 milliliter of blood. So athletes can win a Gold medal as the best in the world at something with 149 nanograms of THC per ML of blood in their system, but Colorado said I can’t drive with more than 5 nanograms of THC per ML of blood or I can get a THC DUI. Good for the IOC for recognizing THC in the system does not mean impairment, and as CBD Bill points out in the interview, THC and CBD at a 1:1 ratio would mean the impossibility of being high, no matter what the levels, but a user might feel tired. I think a THC DUI level set at 150 nanograms is a lot more fair and reasonable than 5. Ridiculous… It’s going to take some time to work all this out…

I’d also like remind Denver-ites to RSVP to American Drug War 2: Cannabis Destiny- a film by Kevin Booth of Sacred Cow. I have seen the film, and it is amazing!  A must see for oil makers, oil users, cannabis juicers, and all Cannabis advocates or consumers. Hemp Girl and I will be at the premiere in Cherry Creek on June 6th at 7:30 PM at AMC 8 – but you must buy tickets in advance to help make it happen. It will be an epic event, for sure, and you will leave changed, and empowered to do more for the movement and your own family. Reserve your tickets now at http://www.tugg.com/events/3877  for the Denver event, or look for a premiere in your area.

As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail cannabischorus@gmail.com. Big things are on the horizon – let’s ride the wave!

More people smoked Cannabis at 4:20 on 4/20 in Denver than have ever smoked Cannabis together before. We raised a historic cloud of pot smoke above our city, and 80,000 people gathered peacefully to celebrate Cannabis. It was a historic moment, and I bring you our camera’s take on “the Moment” at 4:20 PM- followed by my speech that took place at 3:45 PM. I made this video to show that we did have an awesome day. And although the headlines will read about the shooting that left 3 people hurt, it was really a wonderful display of Cannabis affection, prior to around 4:45. Please watch it for an amazing view of what Cannabis legality could look like everywhere :-):  420 Rally Denver 4:20 PM FROM THE STAGE Vitamin Cannabis Films

The following day I attended the sold out 1st Annual American High Times Cannabis Cup, and it was EPIC!! Though it was so packed it was tough to move (16,000 tickets sold) I had a great time and visited every corner of the event. I enjoyed Cannabis infused Chocolate and Strawberry Fondue dripping from fountains. Medicated Pulled Pork sandwiches gave me the energy to keep walking and a buzz! All kinds of pipe sellers, pot products, butter extractors, apple bong making kits, and, of course, the best marijuana in America. Throw in some of the best cannabis concentrates in the world, and I can see why I talked to people from Amsterdam, New Zealand, New York, Chicago, California, and Oklahoma – and they were all blown away!! It was truly an experience, and next year we are hearing it will be at a larger venue – and I should say get your tickets as soon as they become available – it is a Cannabis friendly event like no other pot friendly event on the planet.

Epic times at the Cannabis Cup Denver 2013. :-)

On the Thursday night prior to 4/20, I attended the advance screening of Kevin Booth of Sacred Cow Films’ movie premier of American Drug War 2: Cannabis Destiny (Free the Cure!). It was an amazing film that all people involved in the Cannabis oil (Phoenix Tears) movement need to see. It has both Rick Simpson and Cash Hyde and his family in it, and tells an incredible, though sometimes sad, story about the true effects of Cannabis prohibition. Mr. Booth forges a brave trail through the trees of this growing movement with compassion, sensibility, and logic. I felt this was a movie I could show almost anyone to change their opinion on the Cannabis oil, and whether children should be given it. You can actually get the movie hosted in your city so check out this website http://www.sacredcow.com/

Regardless of how you do it, find a way to see this movie – you won’t be disappointed.

In Colorado news, the Cannabis THC DUI Bill in the Colorado legislature that would make all Cannabis users criminals if they drove, and subject them to police “blood draws” to prove they had more than 5 nanograms of THC per ML of blood, HAS BEEN TOTALLY KILLED IN COMMITTEE!! Great job and congratulations to the lobbying team that accomplished this, some unpaid – I should add. Please let everyone know this is not a free pass to smoke while driving, though, as without a new law, the old “Zero tolerance” policy is still in place. Still, that’s better than an automatic THC DUI when you are not even feeling buzzed at all at 5 nanograms. That’s six times the bill has been killed now, because it’s a stupid law in the first place to make criminals out of people who are doing just fine. We also learned Colorado voters may get to decide the amount of tax on recreational marijuana, and a Boulder-ite former NASA engineer designed an all-inclusive lockable “Colorado Grow Box” that looks really cool to make growing easier and is A64 compliant.

In “Curing” news: Corri Yelland, a woman who had stage 4 Colon Cancer, is now speaking out that she cured herself using Rick Simpson’s oil. Thanks to Rick and Christian, another life was saved. Viva la Oil! We also learned that “Sativex”, which is basically our Vitamin Cannabis oil in inhaler form put out by a British pharmaceutical company, was rescheduled by the U.K.’s Ministry of Health because it “has a low potential for abuse”. Between Marinol, Sativex, or just plain ol’ Cannabis, I’ll take God’s natural green herb any day. :-)

Overall, the 4/20 weekend in Denver was a trail blazing success!! I need a day or two more to recover :-) :-) :-)  I saw in a U.K. news outlet the headline “80,000 smoke cannabis in Denver 4/20″ and would like more people to see headlines like that, instead of ones about the shooting. Early word is the shooting was gang related and had nothing to do with the rally or cannabis. We’re still sad the violence dampened what would have been a perfect weekend, but please view the video and help me spread the positive message about what really went down in Denver on 4-20-2013, a Historical Gathering for the proponents of the most wonderful plant in the world: Cannabis! Amen~

Viva la evolucion! Hope to see you all again soon,

Kyle

Happy 4/20!

It’s April 14th, 2013. The month of 4-20-2013. It’s going to be epic. :-)

There is no ticket needed to the 420 Rally in Civic Center Park on Saturday 4-20, where more people will gather to celebrate cannabis freedom by toking at 4:20 PM than ever before in history. I hope to see you all there… :-)

I’m sorry to say that tickets to the High Times Cannabis Cup are now SOLD OUT in all forms – and are going for 5 to 10 times the ticket price online. I bought my tickets for $35 thanks to Dr. Thurstone, a prohibitionist who published an anti-marijuana article in a local Denver paper, and the web version had a link to purchase tickets to the high times cup. I will be using my two tickets on Sunday with Hemp Girl, and we hope to have a grand time, although I will be the only one smoking as she is still breast feeding our kids. If you see us be sure to say “hello” and I’ll share a toke!

Literally, there is too much going on with Colorado’s Cannabis legality to go into too many details; the waters are still murky, but a clear picture will soon emerge. In the meantime, I am super happy Colorado residents can grow cannabis legally and are no longer in fear of arrest for an ounce or less of marijuana. The freedoms we enjoy are unique to our state.

To those who have recently questioned whether Colorado will “suffer” from legalization, our business index is rising, companies are moving here because of our legality, and our market continues to create jobs. There are hundreds of ancillary business successes, and overall the cannabis trade is keeping our economy strong in a recession. Strange how the facts don’t add up to the scare tactics.

Cannabis is still medicine, even though recreational use is now legal. :-) We have heard from an epilepsy patient who let us know he has been treating himself for years with cannabis edibles and oils and they are the only thing that works to keep his seizures down. It just goes to show, what doesn’t work for someone may work very well for another person. I can’t wait for the day when we know for sure, based on testing of 1,000 or more people, which strain and what cannabinoids do what. It will be a blessing to us all…

In the meantime, the “vertical integration” laws that helped put me and thousands of other cannabusiness out of the industry, will most likely be thrown out. The HB 1284 regulation said that cannabis dispensaries must grow 70% of their own weed. It meant thousands of dollars in costs, because some dispensaries never grew their own weed, but had several growers who supplied their product. The government put them out of business, and now that they’re gone, and less than a hundred dispensary owners are left, the regulations are gone. I don’t think the “regulations” were even designed to “regulate”- they were designed to “eliminate” competition for the Perfect Corporations business to succeed. Maybe with Vertical Integration, and the 70/30 rule gone, more opportunity will arise for SMALL Colorado Cannabusinesses who truly care about patients’ needs and don’t sell “winterized” butane hash. But on a positive note it looks like Colorado voters will get to decide how much tax will be added to cannabis retail sales. I’m guessing the voters will keep the tax low :-)

I’ll be sure to write again just after 4-20 to let you know how it all went, and go to a rally for cannabis legality wherever you are – and share in the moment – when we honor those who have come before us – whom have fought for this plant.

Happy 4-20-2013!!

-Capn Cannabis

P.S.  David LaGoy, “Damien” passed away on March 22nd 2013. His courage helped pave the way for the medical marijuana community we have in Colorado today, and all dispensaries should realize Damien is the reason they can operate, after he sued to stop the state from only allowing 5 patients per caregiver. When he won, and caregivers could have hundreds of patients, the true Green Rush began. Dispensaries popped up all over Denver, began paying taxes and becoming accepted, and they were so entrenched by the time anyone wanted to do anything about it that we still have them today. We all owe David a lot. I thank him – and may he be remembered always. Rest in Love David LaGoy.

Happy March to everyone! We have snow here and my daughters 1st birthday to enjoy. I can’t believe it has been a whole year! She is walking now and will be talking soon. My son is two now and walks and talks like a champion. Cannabis is talked about every day in my state, and it’s good times, though I watch what is happening closely. :-)

First things first, Miguel Lopez of Denver’s 420 Marijuana Rally has granted me the supreme honor of speaking this year at the largest gathering of legal pot smokers in the world. I will be giving a short speech sometime between 2 pm and 4:20. I have also been tasked with contacting the Guinness book of World Records about our “Historical Toke” when more humans will legally smoke cannabis at the same time than ever before in human history. I’ll let you know how it goes, but if you can be in Denver on 4-20-13, you can be a part of an historic event. :-)

I also wanted to let you all know there is now a way to grow real diamonds in a glass jar in your home for about $100. It’s going to change the way we view diamonds in the long run; they will suddenly be cheaper than ever before. You’ll be able to make a car from diamonds, a house from diamonds, and my personal favorite, you’ll be able to grow a chia elvis on your kitchen windowsill, complete with real diamond hair! An industry that promoted child soldiers and gem hoarding, now will be totally changed by a chemical reaction that anyone can cause. I bring it up both to mention “Chia Elvis” and to say that I hope that the cannabis oil does to the chemo/radiation industry what the “grow your own diamonds” will do to the diamond industry. And I hope Hemp replaces plastics, wood, and paper. I can’t wait for simple changes to have big effects on major industries. I know cannabis products are safer, better, stronger, and more bio-degradable or recyclable. I know Hemp/Cannabis can change a whole bunch of industries. Who knows- maybe one day I’ll have a chia elvis, with a diamond beard, and cannabis hair. One can dream- right? There is a lot to get to this month so I’ll start first with what’s happening with Colorado’s Marijuana legalization!!

For starters, the regulatory committee of 25 people (mainly prohibitionists) has passed on their recommendations to our Governor, who is not happy about any of it. I’m not happy with some things….The recommendations include out of staters only being able to purchase 1/8th of weed at a time (how are they going to enforce that unless they track it?), there is a 10 Milligram of THC limit on Recreational edibles (at least my T Class pills would still be legal), Employers can fire you for your off the clock cannabis use (totally unconstitutional), you must have two locks on all residential grow rooms even if you don’t have kids, and last but not least, YOUR FRONT PORCH IS NO LONGER CONSIDERED YOUR PRIVATE PROPERTY IF YOU ARE SMOKING CANNABIS ON IT!!!  That last one is a doozy because really your front (and back) porches are your property, but written into the regulations to be passed will be the authority for police to arrest you on your front porch for doing something legally allowed by the Colorado State Constitution. So basically, the voters said smoking cannabis on your porch was fine, but the prohibitionists didn’t like that, so they are making state laws allowing for the arrest of you on your porch only if the officer can see you smoking cannabis from the sidewalk, street, or another house. It’s not that way with alcohol, I’d just like to say…

I recently attended a meeting of Ganjapreneurs- people looking for money to start cannabiznesses in Denver. I was there to see if any of the 80 dispensary owners left want to help me bring Vitamin Cannabis pills to legal market. Some had not even heard of the Cannabis as a cancer cure story, or Rick Simpson, or Phoenix Tears, so needless to say it did not go well and I am extra thankful my video “How to Make the Cure: Vitamin Cannabis Encore” is up and available to anyone who may need it. I have met some positive individuals by chance lately and I still have hope for my pills to get to a legal market soon.

I did enjoy my encounter with Wayward Bill Chengalis, the head of the U.S. Marijuana Political Party. He has continued the tradition, started by the Late Great Marijuana Activist Ken Gorman, of throwing “legalization” rallies on the steps of the Colorado State Capital Building on the last Saturday of every month. I had been a regular attender and filmer of these rallies prior to my kids being born, but I still showed up a few times even afterwards. Once A64 legalized marijuana in Colorado, it was questioned as to whether or not the rallies should still take place. Wayward Bill, in Ken Gorman’s honor, will continue the rallies, and as he says “for the other 48 states who don’t have legal cannabis.” Right on, Bill!

I had the great privilege of being a friend of Ken Gorman’s after his release from prison on pot charges. I attended many rallies with him and saw him in action.  My favorite memory is watching Ken toss joints into the crowd. There were sometimes 30, sometimes 300 people at the rallies. Ken put on a great show regardless of how many people showed up. Those rallies were his church, his sermons created the movement that is now becoming an industry and a globe changer. I’ll never forget a rally of 40 people in the rain; Ken with his bullhorn organizing everyone under tarps that came out of nowhere as we sat on the steps leading down from the capital. “No Pot, No Peace!” Ken led us in chanting. “We won’t have peace on the planet until pot is legal everywhere!” he yelled to the gathered, as they smoked joints kept dry under hands and hats. The rain poured- but our freedom reigned true…thank to Ken Gorman.

This year, at Miguel Lopez’s Ken Gorman Memorial 4/20 Marijuana Legalization Rally, there will be a record 100,000 people toking cannabis LEGALLY during one minute, 4:20 PM.  History will be made in Civic Center Park in Colorado in 2013. And I will be there as one of that 100,000 strong crowd, and I know Ken will be present in spirit as well.

We will set a historic record for all humanity at 4:20 PM on 4-20-2013. It will be at a rally Ken Gorman started in the 90’s that more people will smoke in unison than ever before in human history. Thank you, Ken, for all you did. We honor you this 4:20 – Rest in Peace, Brother, fellow soldier, and friend. This toke’s for you… :-)

In other pot warrior news, the Reverend Roger Christie of the THC Ministry has had his trial delayed for a third time, and his release denied, saying he “is a threat to the community.” All he did was have a legal church distributing cannabis sacrament to members in exchange for donations. I can’t imagine why the government on any level would have a problem with that, but he was arrested and has been held longer than some Guantanamo detainees, and he is not a terrorist. It’s blatantly unconstitutional, but the longer they hold him the more convinced I am he will end up walking out of jail the day Cannabis becomes legal in Hawaii. It may not go down that way, as I think the government is more pissed off about tax issues than anything, but he should be released- it is ridiculous that he is being persecuted in this way. Let Christie free!!

And a SERIOUS HEADS UP to Hash Pen users and CO2 and Butane Extraction smokers: You are most likely being poisoned, as regulations considered – then shelved – revealed much this week at the a64 hearings. It turns out some of the oil meant for “dabbers” or vape pens and such, is being laced with Sirlene, or propylene glycol, which is an ingredient in anti-freeze. I avoid all Co2 and Butane products. Period. Right now most of the people making those do it for profit and don’t give a shit about you. It’s not fair, it’s just what’s going on, and you need to be careful about what you are consuming. Just a warning, we have heard other stories about poor quality butane, alcohol, and other unsafe items being used in the production of CO2 and Butane Cannabis Extracts. Many people are reporting feeling “weird” or “strange” after smoking vape pen cartridges and supposedly poor quality wax can ball up in your throat. Be safe out there everybody, and make your own bubble hash if you can and smoke it with a magnifying glass. :-)

On a final note, never doubt that a small group of dedicated people can change the world, in fact it’s the only thing that ever has. I know for certain a small group of 20 dedicated people in Colorado led a groundswell that, over 20 years, added thousands more dedicated people, and eventually those voters legalized cannabis in Colorado – and the place where the first arrest took place – took the first steps in ending cannabis arrests altogether. The first dominoes have fallen and others will soon follow. It’s sweet times for Cannabis all around. I got my tickets to the first ever American High Times Cannabis cup, and this year everyone over 21 can smoke! I’ve been to the “medicating” tent the last two years and it has been epic. This year all can join in on the fun! I will also be there on 4-20 at Civic Center Park. Join me if you can, and take a toke for freedom, cannabis, and the cure! Yes We Cannabis!  The power is truly in our hands.

Viva la evolucion, viva la oil!

Thank you all for your continued support! I love you all!
