Shared Dreams- A Tribute to Laura Kriho

Rest in Love Laura- you are already missed…

The day was May 28th, the year 2013. A truck had just pulled up outside my house on Curtis St in Denver. I got a phone call– it was the head of the Cannabis Therapy Institute, Video Flogger, Hemp and Weed Legalization Activist Extraordinaire and overall ass kickin’ freedom Fighter Laura Kriho on the other end- “You ready to witness history today Capn Cannabis?” She said– her tongue in cheek tone giving me a smile. “I’ll be right out” I said as I grabbed my jean jacket, hemp leaf adorned hat with a  stash pocket for weed, and headed out to meet her.

When I got in the car, Laura had a granola bar, orange juice, and two rolled and ready joints for our breakfast. “Can’t legalize Hemp on an empty stomach and not high, can we?” She laughed and nudged me to eat. She told me stories of Senator Lloyd Casey and the initial attempts to legalize Hemp in the Colorado legislature in the 1990’s. It never got passed, but they had fun, even bringing a full size bale of Hemp into the legislature, passing it off as hay. (Author’s note: The Bale of Hemp still exists somewhere- I have a few pieces of it given to me by Laura and Kathleen Chippi.) We were to meet up with the former senator before we went into the Governor’s office. After eating, Laura sparked the joint, and I smoked it, occasionally passing it to her, as she drove us to the Colorado State Capital building to see her longtime goal (and mine): Hemp and Marijuana legality, signed into law after all these years.

I first met Laura on 4-20-2008 in Civic Center Park in Denver when I filmed all willing participants of the 420 rally for my Pot activism centered Youtube channel. I had taken the name “Capn Cannabis” online and garnered a small but devoted following by sometimes being the only camera at Cannabis related activism events. Laura and Kathleen Chippi were Video Floggers– holding public servants and officials accountable by lambasting them online with video rants, questioning them in public about their ridiculous policies, and so forth. She talks on the video about the Cannabis Leis she sold– and highlights how “these are made in China- but they could be made right here in America, out of sustainable hemp. Anything petroleum and plastic made can be made from Hemp!” Her smile was ever present- even when you pissed her off her scoff contained some smile.

From there she began the Cannabis Therapy Institute, holding educational cannabis events of all kinds, and promoting full cannabis legality wherever she was– not some imitation. This led her to form her own plans to legalize in 2012, and although her efforts did not directly succeed– her interest and pursuit of the noble and just cause of cannabis legality forced the issue to the forefront– where Colorado did pass a version of cannabis acceptance– and we all owe Laura a debt of gratitude for her efforts. Just prior to Election night, Laura held the great debates on pot legality at Casselman’s on Walnut street downtown. My wife and I filmed these debates as Laura gave a voice to all in the movement– not just those with deep pockets.  Sometimes joints were smoked illegally onstage in acts of civil disobedience… but that’s just the kind of passionate, heart felt, fire filled gal Laura was- and the awesome events she put on. She always left you with some new knowledge, some new fire. Somehow you grew just from knowing Laura.

Flashing back now to that May 28th day in 2013– When we arrived at the capital, we met up with Senator Casey and saw Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper sign Recreational Marijuana into law in the main Capital rotunda. A bunch of professional TV cameras were present, and me with my tiny handheld video camera. But upstairs in the Governor’s office it was a more private affair. Just 20 or so people– no TV cameras or press– only well-dressed Hemp advocates. Das the Hemp Ice Cream man was there and a few famous lawyers. Kim Sidwell had her still camera next to me, clicking away as I ran my video cam and the Governor put ink to paper– accomplishing our dreams. As he did so, the spirit of Ken Gorman was present in the room and off to the left side the real Laura Kriho gave the guv a ball of hemp twine– which he loved. “We never get enough props,” he jokes as he handled the ball of hemp twine. (All visible in the video below, including Laura shaking the Guv’s hand at the 2:30 mark of the 4:20 long video.)

After the signing, I told the Governor about Cannabis curing cancer, and he said he had already heard, and he posed for a photo with me. It’s the proudest picture of me I have, that doesn’t involve my wife Genevieve or my 3 kids. It’s an image of me moments after I accomplished my dream, of cannabis and hemp being legal in my state. I’m wearing a pot hat, a jean jacket, and I look wild eyed and like I need a haircut– but it’s me accomplishing my dream. As of that moment I wasn’t a criminal anymore for pot. I could not have been prouder, and Laura was there to take the picture for me- like she was always there.

I cried often the night I found out Laura had passed away from a bacterial infection she contracted in Mexico. I could hardly sleep. It wasn’t until late, late that night, or early, early morning that the comforting image of Ken Gorman, Erin Marcove, and Laura Kriho smoking a joint in heaven finally came to me– and offered me tears of comfort instead of sadness. Laura was taken from us too soon. I know she had more to say.  Through my tears I watched the two videos of Laura. The first– so passionate about her cause. And the last– seeing that cause all the way to the end. Not a total, all out, victory forever more but still winning. Winning for Hemp. Winning for Pot. Winning for Justice. It brings tears to my eyes again just thinking of her long battle, finally won…

Laura and I first met because of our desires to have legal cannabis, and we saw it all the way through. I’ll forever be grateful to her for her true friendship, and of course, that photograph, that joint, that granola bar, and that orange juice that morning. For it sums up all she was in life– a caring, compassionate, thoughtful person who we all loved, and will miss, and who we will always remember. In the end I can only describe the life of Laura Kriho by saying it was an Activist’s life well lived. How many of us can say we changed the world? Laura could. I’m so thankful that my dreams, and Laura’s were Shared Dreams, so that I could know a great friend.

Rest in Love Laura Kriho

Your friend Kyle Marsh (Capn Cannabis)

Happy 4-20-2017!

Howdy Folks- from the Wild Wild West city of Denver!

It’s been a while since I’ve done an update, so here is what’s been happening!

The Cannabis Cup in Denver was denied a permit to hold its event here :-( So sad!! The backlash against cannabis has begun here in Colorado- including a SMART (ironically named anti-marijuana organization) group’s underhanded attempt to make 16% the maximum for pot potency in Denver- which would be horseshit- considering most strains in Denver are in the 20% and up range. I’m sad the cup won’t be here this year, but am glad the potency cap did not survive legislation. An attempt to limit new cannabusiness was stopped then brought up again-the limit set at 420 (I know- they pulled that number out of their asses)- and most likely will be passed later this week- so more business will be blocked out of competing with the marijuana monopolies currently operating our legal market here. In the Green constitutional market here (Read: Private Caregivers) MAJOR POT BUSTS of grow houses in residential neighborhoods shipping pounds of pot out of state have people a little rattled pre 4-20 all over Colorado. They were all out-of-staters who moved here to grow 400 plants in residential houses and then ship the weed out of state. Over 50 grow houses from Southern Colorado to Denver were targeted. The authorities call them “PIRATE GROWS” (ARR!!)- and all but one of the growers had wooden peg legs…

In the most positive and promising news we’ve had in a while, GW Pharmaceuticals tested positively the CBD medicine on children with seizures- and it worked in nearly 40% of the kids right away. That’s excellent news and more proof that what Rick Simpson and others said about cannabis oil is the truth: that it cures a myriad of ailments that other medicines simply can’t. I’m most thankful that these kids, previously incurable, are getting the relief that they need. This is all thanks to Rick Simpson and others who have promoted the Cannabis Oil as a remedy for children first. I’m proud of the movement when I see stories like this- and it’s just the tip of the iceberg folks- the cannabis kills cancer story will eventually be revealed- and will sink the mighty unsinkable cancer industry- which promotes death above healing. It’s even led to some grumbling that medical cannabis dispensaries may suffer when the medicine is FDA approved and released, but, to me, anything that helps kids with seizures stop having seizures is a win for the child and their family. Go Cannabis Medicines!!

The Canna-Industry in Colorado is a real job producer- now surpassing 28,000 new jobs created- and that counts only jobs directly involved in Cannabis production requiring a state badge. Ridiculously awesome!! Soon Hemp jobs and ancillary industry jobs will be counted and the whole Cannabis Sector will display its mighty force. With over a Billion dollars in sales now- it’s been a fantastic growth opportunity for people- and it’s wonderful to see!! I’d like to congratulate anyone involved with the Canna-industry- Great Job Folks! You are showing the world how great the Cannabis plant really is for us human beings…:-)

Folks, I will be attending the one true 420 political rally here in Denver- the one that CAN NEVER be cancelled by snow!! The one where all us like-minded people get together and protest the ridiculous cannabis laws by practicing safe civil disobedience in front of the Colorado State Capital- by sparking up a marijuana pipe, bowl, or joint at 4:20 PM in solidarity. It was these rallies, started by the late great KEN GORMAN- that pushed us towards legalization in the first place!! The concerts and fun time in the park came later, and not always on 4-20. This year, Mother Nature cancelled the concert party so the true political activism can shine on the real 4-20 holiday. If you are in Denver- head on out to the capital- make sure you are there at 4:20pm. It’s gonna be great this year :-)

Have a wonderful, happy, safe 4-20-2016 folks!! Much love and positive thoughts your way- Capn Cannabis
April 20th 2016

P.S. To see a fantastic pictorial history of the 420 rally- Kim Sidwell of Cannabis Camera has put together a great piece I have linked to here:

http://cannabis.camera/throwback-post-ten-years-of-420/

Happy April 2015 everyone!!

So the events of 4-20 are over- and oh my! What a week it was! From the President being on Sanjay Gupta’s CNN doc Weed 3, to the High Times Cannabis Cup, to the Saturday 420 festival, to the political rally on actual 4-20-2015 on Monday- it was epic times in Colorado! I hope you had fun wherever you were this 420!!

On Saturday I visited the 420 Marijuana event in Civic Center park- it was well attended and I looked at cannabis wares from all over the country- including sea shell and sea urchin pipes, bamboo Gandalfs, and great glass pieces too unique to even try to describe! Devin the Dude played pot songs while people toked and shopped the booths, and a great time was had by all. On Sunday it was the High Times Cannabis Cup- which was epic in itself for people from out of state (the pot plants were placed in an area specifically to take photos with this year) but a memo from the MED (the pot cops) did put a damper on the event as no dispensaries were allowed to transfer their weed to their booths to give away- like they had in past years. So less free pot, but more vendors, giveaways, and great glass!

On Monday, the actual 4-20 day I took my camera to the capital building for the traditional political 420 rally and had a great time. The spirit of Ken Gorman was strong. I toked at the 4:20 pm moment and it was very uplifting for all of us who had been to rallies before legality, to see the beautiful thing legality has become in Colorado. I edited and just released the video from the event, please check it out here:
http://youtu.be/xHLNCOJYCw4

In major news that I actually saw talked about by Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie Perez on the View (Rosie Perez mentions the GVMT Patent on cannabis as a medicine- you go girl!), our activist friend, Shona Banda, is in some legal trouble causing national headlines. My fiancé and I met her and bought her wonderful book “Live Free or Die” (a great read- pick it up!) at the Denver “Vitamin Cannabis” premier here in Colorado.  Shona is also interviewed by Christian Laurette for the (hopefully) upcoming Run from the Cure 2 Movie “Run 2 the Cure” and is featured in the trailer:
https://youtu.be/Qv8yxuv6e1w

In the non-compassionate state of Kansas, where Shona lives, her son was at school attending a DARE educational presentation made by a member of the police department. The officer apparently spouted some pretty severe horseshit comments about marijuana and Shona’s son, having seen marijuana medicine save her life, spoke up against the officer and offered his own version of the benefits of the cannabis plant to the students. This, for some reason, angered the officer- who detained the son and ordered a search of Shona’s home- where some cannabis and cannabis oil she uses as medicine was found. Her son was taken from her by Kansas authorities, and she is now facing felony charges and the loss of custody of her son permanently. All this because her son dared to speak the truth- and she lives about 50 miles east of the border to Colorado- where this all would have been laughed away. Shona’s legal defense has been funded above its current need- but if you want to donate still to her defense fund please do so here because this may be a key court case for patients’ rights nationwide:
http://www.gofundme.com/rw8p88r

We at the vitamin cannabis team wish Shona nothing but positive thoughts and the best outcome for her and her family in all this. Ironically- today in the paper- Colorado’s legislature has approved a bill that will allow schools and parents to administer marijuana medicines on school premises if it is doctor recommended. This fixes the problem of kids who need CBD and THC blends but whose parents are forced to pick them up and cross the street to give them their life saving and life enabling meds. So in Kansas they arrest a mother and take her child over cannabis. In Colorado- we give it to them in schools- and it works. Amazing the difference a few miles can make…

In more Colorado news, 60,000 pot plants are in “quarantine”- and some were “destroyed” (read: someone took them home but said they threw them away) in Denver over banned pesticide use. The warehouse grows are inundated with bugs- and it takes some serious pesticides and work to control them. Lazy growers have been using pesticides that are toxic to humans when the bud is smoked- only now is the city of Denver cracking down on it. Some of the nutrients/pesticides in question are not all that bad- some are downright toxic and never should be used. I’m glad the city is taking these steps to curb the bad players out, but it still hurts to see cannabis plants “destroyed.” If testing comes back negative for toxicity, the plants will be allowed to be sold. I’ll let ya know in a future newsletter…

And speaking of updates, the $100 million dollar lawsuit over the RSHO toxic test results is being settled and I watched the video of the lab owner explaining how the mistake was made. We’ll see more “apology” videos from other players in the debacle shortly. In other CBD news- Realm of Caring has their product “Charlotte’s oil” available on Amazon.com for the first time. A milestone for the group and it offers hope to those suffering in non-compassionate states. Though I will still state: grow your own if you can in a legal state’s setting- it’s the best way to ensure your supply of medicine doesn’t get interrupted.

Congratulations to all the CBD groups, Phoenix Tears groups, and 420 event planners and attenders who made this 4-20-2015 the greatest one for Cannabis ever!! I thank you for bringing a green tear to my eyes :-) We’re reclaiming the freedom that God gave us!

Blessings and positive thoughts and energy your way-

April 29th 2015

Hello my loyal readers!!

Please know I value each and every one of you and when it gets late in the month and I realize I haven’t put out the newsletter something in me stirs, very violently forces all other important items from my schedule, and allows me the time to communicate with you. This tells me that even though I am aware of our very small reach, I know that somehow the people who need to know pass it on in this ever expanding informational revolution. I thank you for allowing me to reach you in this dying form of written word. I may be telepathically communicating with you in the current or near future… :-)

So it’s cold out there….everywhere!! And it has nothing to do with the Pole Shift, Two suns in the sky, Planet X, Wormwood, or Hercobulus approaching rapidly…Yeah right!! I’ve been watching this story for a year now, and if what I just mentioned is new to you, don’t be alarmed, just don’t make any plans for longer than 4 years from now! If you laugh, that’s a good sign. If you are terrified, please don’t be. I have kids and I’m not worried at all. There clearly is something more to this life than just the act of being alive. I truly believe our interactions, our love, and our energy is what makes this life anything other than a bitter struggle for survival. Which I’ll remind everyone: we lose in the end…or do we?

I would encourage everyone to read Atul Gawande’s remarkable book “Being Mortal.” It is not a metaphysical hippie book, the man is a doctor who watched people die of disease. He realized that even though, as a surgeon, sometimes he could do a risky surgery and extend a patient’s life, sometimes it wasn’t worth doing it. The pain in the last months of the patients’ lives were sometimes worse than not doing surgery. He chose to wait for surgery for his father – who had a tumor in his spine for 4 years before it gave him too many problems. If he had the surgery immediately, he may have not had those valuable 4 years. Everyone in the Phoenix Tears community needs to read this book and realize we are not “faith healers”, “Mystics”, or even “Herbalists.” We are “Palliative Care Specialists” who happen to have the Templar secret of the Holy Cannabis Oil we call Phoenix Tears.

I deal with patients every day, including one today, who are battling for their lives using every available tool. I have one patient who has been surviving in the most unlikely of statistical categories for 5 years using cannabis oil and has just been told a “Solid Tumor” is growing again. Today we talked about how fast it is growing, and I encouraged her to weigh all of the options. “Growth” can mean many things in the medical world. She showed remarkable strength in the face of this crisis and I realized that by talking together we would make the best choices about her care that would provide her the best quality of life. It’s not just about the cannabis oil, or the chemo, or the new experimental drug. Sometimes it’s about listening to your patients and setting small attainable goals. Making it to a grandchild’s concert is much more important than living 3 more months in absolute misery because a surgery or treatment failed, when doing nothing would have allowed that patient to make it to little Jamie’s recital. Just because a doctor says we need to do surgery now does not mean you need to; it’s up to the patient to weigh the risks and the rewards. I would encourage all my fellow healers out there to read Gawande’s book and take more time studying palliative care techniques, to avoid emotional burnout or what’s called “compassion fatigue.”

Remember folks…you are all beautiful and you are totally loved, and this lifetime does not last forever. It’s what we do with our limited time that really matters…not how much time we end up having.

Onto positive time-use, Washington D.C. fights to enact their legalization, but Alaska just legalized marijuana officially a couple hours ago!! They join Colorado and Washington State in the “Trinity of Truth” states who recognize cannabis as a valuable plant. Congratulations, Alaskanite’s! Enjoy your days of Sunshine and no snow (See: Geomagnetic Pole Shift mentioned earlier, the alien stuff is the most entertaining and seemingly accurate stuff to read if you do look it up :-)).

I would also like to report on the “Death of the Red Card” as I was surprised to get a flimsy plastic Purple card in the mail from the State instead of my usual Tri-Fold heavy paper “Red Card” indicating my medical marijuana status in Colorado. It’s a harbinger that the state is trying to eliminate medical marijuana; though with 118,000 patients on the registry and the law in our state constitution it will be mighty tough.  I don’t foresee medical marijuana going away in our state ever, until we aren’t a state anymore, but medical shops may soon be converting to recreational only and my crappy purple medical marijuana card may be a bad harbinger for medical marijuana in the state.

One last thing: I received a thick envelope in the mail from an insurance company the other day and instead of the usual life insurance offers, it was an offer for “Cancer Insurance” and had very scary statistics about how many of us Americans get cancer (1/2), the cost of treatments (one treatment: $20,000), and what I could do to protect myself (nothing). It offered a very specific cancer only policy for a discounted rate and they wouldn’t even ask if I smoked! I felt like sending it back with a copy of “Run from the Cure”, but saved it instead to mention in this newsletter. I have my own damn cancer insurance. It’s called Phoenix Tears. Right now it’s the only insurance I need.

Stay Warm out there, it’s almost time for 4-20!!
Much love and positive thoughts to you and yours-
Kyle Marsh

P.S. We are considering starting a new non-profit to begin tracking everyone who has taken more than 10 grams of the oil called “Project Anecdotal”. We need to know the success rates (percentages) for each and all of the more than 400 cancers, and other diseases as well. If you have taken 10 grams or know someone who has please download and take the time to fill out this lengthy questionnaire- and send it back to us at cannabischorus@gmail.com. We will share the results when our website launched or in newsletter form in the following months. It’s time to add up the stats, folks, if you can help with that in any, way please do it now! We really appreciate it! :-)

Click to download the PDF version or the DOCX version (Microsoft Word).

Folks, 60 Minutes just did a special segment on Colorado’s first year of marijuana legality and they announced “The Sky hasn’t fallen.” In fact, our violent crime is down, road fatalities down, and even burglaries are down. Meanwhile, our economy is up… way up! The Ski resorts reported their best year ever, the economy was ranked #1 in the nation, and our #1 problem now is affordable housing for the thousands of people moving here. If San Francisco was a mecca in the 1960’s, Denver is the new city of hope and promise for both Marijuana Refugees seeking medicine, and the smartest and brightest of the up and coming generation, who have moved here for jobs and acceptance of their cannabis associated, or “plant based”, lifestyle. It’s going to be the Summer of the Love of Bud this year in the Mile High City. Won’t you join us for the Evolution? Come participate in the THC Test and Celebration :-)

But there are some Debbie Downers in the bunch, like the states of Oklahoma and Nebraska whose DA’s have chosen to sue the state of Colorado for our cannabis legality and the supposed problems it’s causing for the neighboring states. Personally, I think it’s a ridiculous lawsuit, and apparently so does a Republican State’s Rights supporting State Senator from one of the states, who has promised to join Colorado’s side if it goes to court. It’s hysterically funny. And John Suthers – a former enemy of cannabis – will now represent our state in the lawsuit and defend my right to use Cannabis. Ha Ha!! The prohibitionists used to rain shit down upon me and my band of cannabis merry makers; now the shit is being rained on them, as their fortress of bullshit collapses and I get to watch, while legally toking cannabis!

But Speaking of John Suthers, Colorado’s AG is going after a butane hash maker who blew up his house making shatter (wax, dabs) and is claiming he was making Cannabis Oil. Constitutionally I’m on the oil guy’s side, but I’m not in favor of butane hash oil and it certainly is not the same thing as Phoenix Tears, or my Vitamin Cannabis oil – which is made with ALCOHOL. The City of Denver legally recognizes her citizens’ right to make the oil in small batches using Alcohol, which will not blow up as easily as butane. But now, due to a comma written into the bill, John Suthers is arguing that all cannabis oil production is banned, regardless of method and cutting agents used. If he’s found right, it makes the Denver ordinance null and void because cannabis oil would become illegal on the state level.

Now I pray this doesn’t happen (so do thousands of refugees moving here just so they can legally make cannabis oil), and there is another bill in the state house that will attempt to make oil production illegal again. If it passes it will go to court again when an everclear oil manufacturer goes to a jury trial. It is ridiculous that even after legality I’m still facing the loss of my rights to make cannabis oil out of cannabis I grow myself. That’s the only way I can control the quality and to force me to buy it from a shop is ridiculous, monopolistic, and immoral. But, like I was famously told by the man implementing the laws, “Regardless of Morals, I have a business to run.” Those laws benefit big business, not patients or people. To make laws to prevent sick people from getting medicine from anyone is insane.

Lastly, the 2015 420 Rally in Denver will be on Saturday 4-18 and Sunday 4-19 this year- as far as being an official city permitted event. Another rally and march will still take place on Monday 4-20, around the capital, but only this march/event will be unpermitted, and illegal; a spontaneous (though planned) “Gathering of the People”, and that is just how the event started! The 420 events I attended in the past were never permitted by the city and the cops allowed us to congregate, begrudgingly, and quickly moved us out of the park and made arrests numerous times. There were years with 200 people, and years with a couple thousand. After activist Ken Gorman’s death, the rally became a meeting point for the minds that would legalize cannabis in Colorado soon after, just as Ken had told me before he was killed. Legality of cannabis has been a blessing to many and it all went down just the way he said it would. Now, in 2015, one year into what can only be described as a smashing success to cannabis legality, to see the event unpermitted by the city and in true original form again, it brings a tear to my eye and you know damn well I’ll be at the capital in Denver on 4-20-2015 to celebrate Cannabis, Ken Gorman, and Colorado’s first strike victory in the war on the drug I love: Kaneh Bosm.

My family and I had a wonderful Christmas. We hope you all are having a wonderful start to your new year. Positive thoughts to you and yours,

Kyle Marsh
January 2015

P.S. In Ken’s honor, let me leave you with his favorite phrase: “Keep on Smokin’ them joints!”

Howdy from the Spooky wild wild west of Denver, Colorado, folks! The all hallows eve and reformation day celebrations are in full swing this week. The Vitamin Cannabis Team and I wish you a safe and spooky Halloween 2014! :-)

In less scary news (unless you hate weed) it is JUDGEMENT DAY for Cannabis as a schedule one narcotic in this country. A single Circuit Court Judge holds our fate – so send positive energy to her in California – as she decides whether or not evidence exists to support a rescheduling of Cannabis. IF – and it’s a big IF – she sides with God and morality and says pot should be rescheduled, the federal government will immediately appeal to the Supreme Court of the United States of America. The Supreme Court can then choose to hear the case, and decide if an order to reschedule should go out, or they can “Back Door” cannabis rescheduling in the same way that gay marriage was actually legalized in all the states: by refusing to hear the case, thus validating the lower circuit court’s ruling. Now I’m no legal expert, but that is my understanding of the situation, and it gives cause for hope that eventually we can get this wonderful plant out of its ridiculous status in the federal drug scheduling.

If you’re just now hearing about CBD, then be proud you are first to hear about CBG, the new cannabinoid creating serious buzz as a tumor fighter and, also, one of the new cannabinoids that most labs can test for. For those of you in lucky states that still allow private personal cannabinoid testing, you can now see where your CBG levels are, in addition to THC and CBD. A friend of Vitamin Cannabis recently e-mailed me links to high CBG oil which is starting to appear in the more progressive, compassionate states. We are eager to see the results of the new CBG heavy strains and concentrates and their ability to break up difficult tumors. Look for CBG to start appearing in places near you!

There is a new $100 Million lawsuit against a private caregiver, a testing lab and its owner, and a second testing lab regarding a CBD product legally available and sold online. The Vitamin Cannabis team has received reports of numerous CBD oils sold online either being inactive (did nothing) or, in some case, caused extreme gastrointestinal distress or other harsh reactions including vomiting. We were attempting to have the oil tested ourselves when a ban on testing blocked us. We still managed to obtain the toxic test results, but did not post them to our site. I would like to say we would have had no involvement with this except for numerous people reporting and asking us for help in determining if the product was safe, and the company (when I contacted them directly at the cannabis cup) would not reveal where the hemp came from, or offer up toxicity tests of its own, which led to the underground movement to determine the safety of the product for human consumption. The company is pissed that it was revealed the stuff was potentially toxic and is now suing several good people who do not deserve the lawsuit.

Now this is all going to get hashed out in court (pun totally intended), but what we hope the overall result becomes is that the CBD oil’s producers be required to provide evidence the oil is safe, and its origins. I’m not saying the CBD oil products sold online by a wide variety of companies are all unsafe, but I am saying I would like the companies to be honest about where the hemp came from, how it was treated, and what the other ingredients are in the oil. The fact a company would sue people trying to determine a products safety after repeated people complained of bad reactions, I think, says the most about whether you should trust some of the products offered online.

To see the MOST HOPEFUL news story I have seen on the THC heavy cancer curing oil, please follow this link to see TEAM LANDON’s story in more detail. I can’t help but feel this is the first of many stories that will break into the main stream media and further the Phoenix Tears story. Sierra and Landon have been through so much- but to see the results- on the news- brings real tears to my eyes. It’s happening, folks, and thanks to brave people like TEAM LANDON, the truth will prevail! :-)

Lastly, I’d like to thank all the people who have personally contacted me the last month with links to information, videos, test results, politics, and breaking news regarding the cannabis movement. It was my 34th birthday October 9th and, while I am blessed with a beautiful and wonderful family, I also received a karmactic birthday present. An old friend stopped by with a new strain called “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Weed” that looks and smells just like THC filled buds, but this new strain has 15% CBD and less than .03% THC. It grows 4 feet tall and bushy; no 14 foot hemp plants. Sticky as all hell and some of the best weed I’ve seen. Only professionals and cannabis connoisseurs would be able to tell “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Weed” from high cannabis THC; I can’t imagine law enforcement officials worldwide will be able to tell it’s not THC weed. That creates an enforcement issue in the near future, and is one more beacon of light in the dark indicating Hemp/Cannabis is about to go legal worldwide. I was blessed to receive a quarter ounce of the “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Weed” for my birthday, thanks CBD Bill. It was fantastic!

I’ll leave you all with some pictures of the new CBD strain that can be legally grown and transported anywhere Hemp is legal! Tell me it’s not high THC stuff :-). Click for full size images.

Howdy from the Wild Wild West Mile “Legally” High City of Denver, folks!

From the largest city in the state with the best economy (yeah…it’s because of the weed), I bring you greetings and salutations, marijuana musings, and news of cannabinoid victories in our state. Open your hearts and minds and here we go!

For starters, according to dateandtime.com, the latitude of Denver is “39 44’20 N.” I just find it fitting that there’s a “420” in our numerical location. 420 is now embedded in our culture, and if it wasn’t for the 420 Marijuana Legalization rallies held each year which got the ball rolling, we wouldn’t have the blessings of hemp and cannabis freedom we enjoy today. I’m not too into the numbers of things, but all 420’s stick out to me – on license plates, serial numbers, and, as it turns out, my geographical location on planet earth. :-)

In major news, the Colorado Department of Health once again tried to place unconstitutional limits on caregivers in our state who privately care for thousands of the marijuana refugees that have flocked to our state for treatment with cannabis medicines that work when all else fails. One individual cares for 80 patients with epilepsy who need a specific CBD plant (Note: it’s not all just CBD, many epilepsy patients use THC/CBD blends). When he brought some of the children he treats and their parents to the state house to testify in a public comment session, there was no way the board could vote against forcing 70 children to find another caregiver. It’s a complicated situation, but the department did the right thing by avoiding this issue… for now… Other attacks on greenhouse growing in favor of highly polluting warehouse grows is on the horizon, and I’m sure the caregiver/patient number issue will be revisited in the future.

In other pot news, the Israeli government did an extensive study on cannabis and PTSD and found immediate cannabis use right after the traumatic event resulted in a significant decrease in the symptoms and future damage. No surprise, cannabinoids can cross the ultra-protective blood brain barrier, and once there they operate to protect and repair the brain itself. Funny how a substance that did that would remain illegal for so long.

Hempcrete is also in the news a lot, with a video you can see here of it blackening but not burning under a propane torch test. For people building in areas that may be prone to wildfires, hempcrete is an incredible option, and we hope to see it being used more in Colorado and elsewhere very soon. More research is also being done on hemp as an energy storage facilitator. It’s absolutely amazing what this plant’s products can be made into. Here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeW6kuZgPY4

There is news from Realm of Caring announcing they will begin getting their medication to patients everywhere soon. Congratulations to Realm and all involved in this monumental achievement. There is an awesome article that includes many details that only people actually caring for kids with epilepsy/autism can use, that I’m including here: http://www.ladybud.com/2014/09/18/realm-of-caring-announces-charlottes-web-to-be-shipped-to-all-50-us-states/

But the biggest news of all comes from a familiar source: TEAM LANDON in Colorado Springs. All I can say is watch the video on the link below, but only if you want to see a kid who had leukemia vaping a cloud pen and a stunned newscaster asking the question: “Does Cannabis Really Cure Cancer?” Landon’s test results are amazing, from dying of cancer to only needing checkups to make sure the cancer hasn’t come back. All by using cannabis oil/phoenix tears. It’s newsworthy, it has been for a long time, and now it’s finally on the actual news. The story is changing, too; now instead of focusing on whether cannabis oil should be given to children, the news is focused on real cure stories they can’t deny. It reminds me of when I made part two of Vitamin Cannabis called “Save the Children.” I had hoped it would happen sooner, but I’m glad it’s finally happening. Others are seeing it’s the children who are most vulnerable to disease, and it’s kids who benefit most from the cannabis oil.

To Rick Simpson and Christian Laurette, Landon’s story of life is your story continued. Landon and his mom Ran from the Chemo and ran to the cure, thanks to you guys. I hope you’ll watch the video and see just what is happening here in Colorado where compassion rules the day. We hope you find the fall weather turns your cannabis purple. Keep the faith, keep spreading the word, we are all making a difference, folks, we truly are. :-)

We lost two patients this past month and, though it is hard, we have provided relief at the end. To the families of Patient M and Patient C: our thoughts and prayers are with you. Even in our compassionate state, often we don’t have enough time, and God has other plans for his angels. Patients M and C are with the vibration of God and Love now, and the Vitamin Cannabis team sheds tears for them. God bless the children.

To that end, folks, the Phoenix Tears regimen can be done alongside chemo and radiation. There is no need to stop treatment to try the tears (though chemo and radiation can go bad quickly, so I would be careful). The most successful approaches involve the cannabis oil combined with good traditional medical care. I would like to see caregivers, like myself, get patients before they become stage 4. I reiterate my offer to treat any child with cancer in the state of Colorado with 3 grams of Phoenix Tears oil at no cost.

On a positive note, Patient J – a stage 4 Ovarian Cancer survivor – will hit 5 years since diagnosis in February of next year. We may be jumping the gun a bit, but a chance encounter in a pizza shop where information about Phoenix Tears was dispensed has led to her not only surviving this long, but thriving. She is currently on 2.3 grams daily (almost 2000 MG of Cannabinoid POWER!) and is past the point of the “tireds” and has energy once again. Some would say too much energy :-). She and her husband are now caregivers themselves and that makes me very happy. :-).

Staying on the positive energy this time, folks, with the music of Tom Petty’s “U Get Me High”, Jake Bugg’s “Lightning Bolt”, and Kacey Musgrave’s “Follow Your Arrow” playing on my headphones as I type this message to you. I’ve watched Aronofsky’s “Noah”, a brilliant film “Snowpiercer”, and went semi-old school with “Idiocracy.” I’m feeling the vibrations of the planet, watching the chemtrails and laughing, and practicing basic Cannabis Alchemy – which has very complicated and fantastic results!! I’m sending positive vibes your way right now~~~ :-).

I’ve been reading the Shulgin’s TIHKAL book, which is amazing :-). And I got ready for the experience by reading Tom Wolfe’s “Electric Kool Aid Acid Test” which was also amazing! I see a little of the Merry Prankster’s spirit in the Vitamin Cannabis team. Aldous Huxley’s “Doors of Perception” opened my mind further and, as Bill Hick’s would say, I had my 3rd eye squeegeed quite clear :-)

What I’m seeing now are things I was told I’d never see, like pot being legal in my home state, my kids growing up bold and beautiful, and Colorado’s economy was just named the strongest in America by a major business publication. It’s because of pot, people!

Soon Marijuana will be legal in all areas and the medicine will be available to those who are suffering. Help will arrive in time. Relief is on the way, just hang in there and stay positive until the waves of change sweep through your area.

I’ve realized it’s a choice to stay positive through all this and I urge you to choose with me to stay moral, stay hopeful, stay risky, and stay full of life.  This bowl is to the souls and spirits.

August 2014

Happy first week of summer to everyone receiving this message!! May the geomagnets “shift” in your favor during the coming times…

We here in the wild wild west are blessed in our state of compassion. Our crime rates are down, our quality of life up, and our spirits high. If it weren’t for a giant supervolcano just to our north, I would say move here. Hell, move here anyways… :-)

To reiterate our earlier offer: I will personally provide, for free, 3 grams of our Cannabis Oil to the parents of any child under 18 with cancer of any kind. No waiting lists, no doctor visits, just 3 grams of the oil. With 3 kids receiving treatment currently we are hopeful that we can aid those most vulnerable and most in need.  Knowing what some of these kids have already gone through already is astonishing, I imagine a few chemo/radiation treatments, maybe a dozen or so in extreme cases. Try 100’s. By the time I am seeing these kids modern medicine has radiated and dissected them so many times the child and the parents are ready for it to be over. It’s sad. Yet with the Phoenix Tears there is always hope. We need to get to a point where the cannabis oil is the first option tried, instead of what I’m seeing done to these children.

That being said, if you are in a position yourself as a cannabis oil maker, or cannabis juicer, or cannabis tincture manufacturer, please support our offer by making one of your own to those around you. Even just a verbal offer to those around you may yield surprising results. 3 grams to any kid under 18 for free is all I’m asking. When the oil works to cure just one of these kids on death’s door, other parents will try the oil earlier and some kids will avoid suffering altogether in the not so distant future. Please help the Vitamin Cannabis team and Save the Children first if you are in a position to do so.

In Cannabis spirituality news, the Christian Church of Cannabis in Canada won a huge court ruling citing Kaneh Bosm as a religious oil mentioned in the ancient bibles, and suddenly went from a dozen members to 20,000 applicants! Congratulations to the Church, the Vitamin Cannabis team believes in the Kaneh Bosm as well, and like Bill Hicks said, “Isn’t making a plant that grows naturally everywhere on the planet illegal a little bit, unnatural? It’s like saying God made a mistake.” Cannabis was meant to grow everywhere as God intended. Some of us are righting a great wrong and growing God’s plant again… :-)

So also in Canada, Kitty litter??? The government orders patients to destroy pot they grew themselves with kitty litter so they can then be forced to buy shitty Canadian government weed?? Is this a real story?? Seriously?? Talk about the “Perfect Corporation” taking over a country… damn!! I still hope this story isn’t real and none of this happened. My favorite comment from a Canadian was this “Yeah, I’ll destroy the organic weed I grew myself. I just won’t use kitty litter. I’ll burn the weed, one bowl at a time in my pipe.” Please someone from Canada contact me and tell me you can still legally grow your own weed up there, eh?

In Pharmaceutical news, the number of patents on cannabinoids and their uses keep going up, and the government still has no explanation for patent 6630507 that first made it obvious someone knew about the properties of the cannabis oil way back in 1990’s, if not earlier. There is also evidence a big pharma company I won’t name is responsible for releasing the fake cannabinoid product “Spice” which has killed people worldwide and here in Colorado. No word on how it went from a big pharma corporate lab to a street drug with the big company still owning the patent…

Yet a man in Texas faces life in prison for making pot brownies because the cops are counting the flour and cocoa as if it were pot itself. Also, in separate news, the FBI says it may overlook pot smoking in applications in the future to attract better talent. Good for you, FBI. I’m still not applying… crazy times.

On a patient update, a stage four ovarian cancer patient of ours “Patient J” has had her cancer balled up in a microscopic lump that has to be biopsied to prove it’s cancerous, after completing a 60 gram cannabis reset. This duplicates the results of Patient X who had colon cancer and had the same thing happen. We theorize CBG (the tumor fighter) may be able to break up these small lumps (less than the size of a quarter), but surgery can do it too. It’s interesting to see that twice now, we have evidence of 60 grams of the Phoenix Tears oil entering the body of a stage 4 cancer patient, and, over time, eliminating the cancer and rounding up the microscopic remnants into a small lump easily dealt with by doctors. Phenomenal results! Congratulations to patient J on a massively successful reset. She will remain on higher doses of Vitamin Cannabis pills (self-made now – how odd that so many of my former patients have now become growers themselves :-)) to ward away future reoccurrence of the disease. I will update on the status of the lump, but we are blessed to have been a part of Patient J’s story and hope many more are to come… :-)

As I mentioned earlier, crime statistics in Denver are down despite legality of the Devil’s weed marijuana (I called it God’s plant earlier, didn’t I…) I would like to also add that the drunk driver who went the wrong way on the highway and killed marijuana activist Jenny Kush (mother of 4) was sentenced to 10 years in jail and will probably be out sooner. This means Jenny’s kids may not be out of school by the time her murderer is released. The woman was apologetic, and 10 years is a long time to serve, but it seems to me we tolerate injustice when it comes to alcohol and over-justice when it comes to pot. We’ve lost so much to booze. For Jenny, I hope many young people choose the bud instead of the beer…

Police in neighboring states to Colorado have begun regarding our Green and White Colorado license plates as wearing the “Green Badge of Courage” when driving around in other states. It seems Coloradans are being pulled over at a rate “higher” than usual – no pun intended – whilst outside the Rocky Mountain High state. Many Coloradans – both in the cannabis industry and not in it – are proud of our state regardless of our pot legality. It’s a great place and people are overall happy here. I see no reason to leave, and I wear my “Green Badge of Courage” proudly while driving around the Mile High City.

One last piece of information to release: the CBD oil for Draven’s and Epilepsy (and potentially Autism) is a ratio of 18 CBD to 2 THC, or approximately 50 mg of CBD for every 6 mg of THC. These appear to be the batches that will not get the kids “high” at all but still provide benefits. Other CBD oils can work as well with different ratios, but it’s a good target if you are looking for the CBD stuff. I, personally, am only a fan of our high THC batches, but am well aware of what is happening with CBD. On that note, a heads up: BE EXTREMELY WARY of CBD products sold online as we are seeing nasty test results confirming many of those batches are toxic. We do believe CBD oil sold online is made from toxic Chinese Hemp waste material and testing has confirmed heavy toxins presence in the oil. Just throwing it out there for those of you who may need this kind of detail in the Cannabis Alchemy you are practicing. Good luck to you, my kindred spirits :-). I wish you all the best this coming first month of summer.

Bring us your sick, your dying, your forgotten, your mistreated.

Bring us the most vulnerable, the most abused, the most lost.

Bring us the children, the young, the angels in God’s eyes.

If anyone deserves the Phoenix Tears first, it’s the kids…

Parents, bring your children (under 18) with cancer to the state of Colorado and the Vitamin Cannabis team will provide 3 grams of our Kaneh Bosm oil to you at no cost. There is no guarantee the cannabis oil will work, but by God we are going to try.

Any and all traditional treatments can be done simultaneously. There is no paperwork to fill out, no waiting list, and no doctors to see. We only need see that your child has cancer and we will provide.  We are within our constitutional rights in our state to do so.

We are blessed to be where we are and this is our way of giving back.

The Vitamin Cannabis team, based in Denver, Colorado, is proud to be a part of what Rick Simpson and Christian Laurette started with “Run from the Cure.” If you are reading this and you know of someone who could benefit from this offer, please have them contact us at cannabischorus@gmail.com.

Please spread this message if you can.

Thank you and God bless,
Kyle Marsh
