Happy April 2015 everyone!!

So the events of 4-20 are over- and oh my! What a week it was! From the President being on Sanjay Gupta’s CNN doc Weed 3, to the High Times Cannabis Cup, to the Saturday 420 festival, to the political rally on actual 4-20-2015 on Monday- it was epic times in Colorado! I hope you had fun wherever you were this 420!!

On Saturday I visited the 420 Marijuana event in Civic Center park- it was well attended and I looked at cannabis wares from all over the country- including sea shell and sea urchin pipes, bamboo Gandalfs, and great glass pieces too unique to even try to describe! Devin the Dude played pot songs while people toked and shopped the booths, and a great time was had by all. On Sunday it was the High Times Cannabis Cup- which was epic in itself for people from out of state (the pot plants were placed in an area specifically to take photos with this year) but a memo from the MED (the pot cops) did put a damper on the event as no dispensaries were allowed to transfer their weed to their booths to give away- like they had in past years. So less free pot, but more vendors, giveaways, and great glass!

On Monday, the actual 4-20 day I took my camera to the capital building for the traditional political 420 rally and had a great time. The spirit of Ken Gorman was strong. I toked at the 4:20 pm moment and it was very uplifting for all of us who had been to rallies before legality, to see the beautiful thing legality has become in Colorado. I edited and just released the video from the event, please check it out here:
http://youtu.be/xHLNCOJYCw4

In major news that I actually saw talked about by Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie Perez on the View (Rosie Perez mentions the GVMT Patent on cannabis as a medicine- you go girl!), our activist friend, Shona Banda, is in some legal trouble causing national headlines. My fiancé and I met her and bought her wonderful book “Live Free or Die” (a great read- pick it up!) at the Denver “Vitamin Cannabis” premier here in Colorado.  Shona is also interviewed by Christian Laurette for the (hopefully) upcoming Run from the Cure 2 Movie “Run 2 the Cure” and is featured in the trailer:
https://youtu.be/Qv8yxuv6e1w

In the non-compassionate state of Kansas, where Shona lives, her son was at school attending a DARE educational presentation made by a member of the police department. The officer apparently spouted some pretty severe horseshit comments about marijuana and Shona’s son, having seen marijuana medicine save her life, spoke up against the officer and offered his own version of the benefits of the cannabis plant to the students. This, for some reason, angered the officer- who detained the son and ordered a search of Shona’s home- where some cannabis and cannabis oil she uses as medicine was found. Her son was taken from her by Kansas authorities, and she is now facing felony charges and the loss of custody of her son permanently. All this because her son dared to speak the truth- and she lives about 50 miles east of the border to Colorado- where this all would have been laughed away. Shona’s legal defense has been funded above its current need- but if you want to donate still to her defense fund please do so here because this may be a key court case for patients’ rights nationwide:
http://www.gofundme.com/rw8p88r

We at the vitamin cannabis team wish Shona nothing but positive thoughts and the best outcome for her and her family in all this. Ironically- today in the paper- Colorado’s legislature has approved a bill that will allow schools and parents to administer marijuana medicines on school premises if it is doctor recommended. This fixes the problem of kids who need CBD and THC blends but whose parents are forced to pick them up and cross the street to give them their life saving and life enabling meds. So in Kansas they arrest a mother and take her child over cannabis. In Colorado- we give it to them in schools- and it works. Amazing the difference a few miles can make…

In more Colorado news, 60,000 pot plants are in “quarantine”- and some were “destroyed” (read: someone took them home but said they threw them away) in Denver over banned pesticide use. The warehouse grows are inundated with bugs- and it takes some serious pesticides and work to control them. Lazy growers have been using pesticides that are toxic to humans when the bud is smoked- only now is the city of Denver cracking down on it. Some of the nutrients/pesticides in question are not all that bad- some are downright toxic and never should be used. I’m glad the city is taking these steps to curb the bad players out, but it still hurts to see cannabis plants “destroyed.” If testing comes back negative for toxicity, the plants will be allowed to be sold. I’ll let ya know in a future newsletter…

And speaking of updates, the $100 million dollar lawsuit over the RSHO toxic test results is being settled and I watched the video of the lab owner explaining how the mistake was made. We’ll see more “apology” videos from other players in the debacle shortly. In other CBD news- Realm of Caring has their product “Charlotte’s oil” available on Amazon.com for the first time. A milestone for the group and it offers hope to those suffering in non-compassionate states. Though I will still state: grow your own if you can in a legal state’s setting- it’s the best way to ensure your supply of medicine doesn’t get interrupted.

Congratulations to all the CBD groups, Phoenix Tears groups, and 420 event planners and attenders who made this 4-20-2015 the greatest one for Cannabis ever!! I thank you for bringing a green tear to my eyes :-) We’re reclaiming the freedom that God gave us!

Blessings and positive thoughts and energy your way-

Howdy from the Spooky wild wild west of Denver, Colorado, folks! The all hallows eve and reformation day celebrations are in full swing this week. The Vitamin Cannabis Team and I wish you a safe and spooky Halloween 2014! :-)

In less scary news (unless you hate weed) it is JUDGEMENT DAY for Cannabis as a schedule one narcotic in this country. A single Circuit Court Judge holds our fate – so send positive energy to her in California – as she decides whether or not evidence exists to support a rescheduling of Cannabis. IF – and it’s a big IF – she sides with God and morality and says pot should be rescheduled, the federal government will immediately appeal to the Supreme Court of the United States of America. The Supreme Court can then choose to hear the case, and decide if an order to reschedule should go out, or they can “Back Door” cannabis rescheduling in the same way that gay marriage was actually legalized in all the states: by refusing to hear the case, thus validating the lower circuit court’s ruling. Now I’m no legal expert, but that is my understanding of the situation, and it gives cause for hope that eventually we can get this wonderful plant out of its ridiculous status in the federal drug scheduling.

If you’re just now hearing about CBD, then be proud you are first to hear about CBG, the new cannabinoid creating serious buzz as a tumor fighter and, also, one of the new cannabinoids that most labs can test for. For those of you in lucky states that still allow private personal cannabinoid testing, you can now see where your CBG levels are, in addition to THC and CBD. A friend of Vitamin Cannabis recently e-mailed me links to high CBG oil which is starting to appear in the more progressive, compassionate states. We are eager to see the results of the new CBG heavy strains and concentrates and their ability to break up difficult tumors. Look for CBG to start appearing in places near you!

There is a new $100 Million lawsuit against a private caregiver, a testing lab and its owner, and a second testing lab regarding a CBD product legally available and sold online. The Vitamin Cannabis team has received reports of numerous CBD oils sold online either being inactive (did nothing) or, in some case, caused extreme gastrointestinal distress or other harsh reactions including vomiting. We were attempting to have the oil tested ourselves when a ban on testing blocked us. We still managed to obtain the toxic test results, but did not post them to our site. I would like to say we would have had no involvement with this except for numerous people reporting and asking us for help in determining if the product was safe, and the company (when I contacted them directly at the cannabis cup) would not reveal where the hemp came from, or offer up toxicity tests of its own, which led to the underground movement to determine the safety of the product for human consumption. The company is pissed that it was revealed the stuff was potentially toxic and is now suing several good people who do not deserve the lawsuit.

Now this is all going to get hashed out in court (pun totally intended), but what we hope the overall result becomes is that the CBD oil’s producers be required to provide evidence the oil is safe, and its origins. I’m not saying the CBD oil products sold online by a wide variety of companies are all unsafe, but I am saying I would like the companies to be honest about where the hemp came from, how it was treated, and what the other ingredients are in the oil. The fact a company would sue people trying to determine a products safety after repeated people complained of bad reactions, I think, says the most about whether you should trust some of the products offered online.

To see the MOST HOPEFUL news story I have seen on the THC heavy cancer curing oil, please follow this link to see TEAM LANDON’s story in more detail. I can’t help but feel this is the first of many stories that will break into the main stream media and further the Phoenix Tears story. Sierra and Landon have been through so much- but to see the results- on the news- brings real tears to my eyes. It’s happening, folks, and thanks to brave people like TEAM LANDON, the truth will prevail! :-)

Lastly, I’d like to thank all the people who have personally contacted me the last month with links to information, videos, test results, politics, and breaking news regarding the cannabis movement. It was my 34th birthday October 9th and, while I am blessed with a beautiful and wonderful family, I also received a karmactic birthday present. An old friend stopped by with a new strain called “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Weed” that looks and smells just like THC filled buds, but this new strain has 15% CBD and less than .03% THC. It grows 4 feet tall and bushy; no 14 foot hemp plants. Sticky as all hell and some of the best weed I’ve seen. Only professionals and cannabis connoisseurs would be able to tell “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Weed” from high cannabis THC; I can’t imagine law enforcement officials worldwide will be able to tell it’s not THC weed. That creates an enforcement issue in the near future, and is one more beacon of light in the dark indicating Hemp/Cannabis is about to go legal worldwide. I was blessed to receive a quarter ounce of the “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Weed” for my birthday, thanks CBD Bill. It was fantastic!

I’ll leave you all with some pictures of the new CBD strain that can be legally grown and transported anywhere Hemp is legal! Tell me it’s not high THC stuff :-). Click for full size images.

Howdy from the Wild Wild West Mile “Legally” High City of Denver, folks!

From the largest city in the state with the best economy (yeah…it’s because of the weed), I bring you greetings and salutations, marijuana musings, and news of cannabinoid victories in our state. Open your hearts and minds and here we go!

For starters, according to dateandtime.com, the latitude of Denver is “39 44’20 N.” I just find it fitting that there’s a “420” in our numerical location. 420 is now embedded in our culture, and if it wasn’t for the 420 Marijuana Legalization rallies held each year which got the ball rolling, we wouldn’t have the blessings of hemp and cannabis freedom we enjoy today. I’m not too into the numbers of things, but all 420’s stick out to me – on license plates, serial numbers, and, as it turns out, my geographical location on planet earth. :-)

In major news, the Colorado Department of Health once again tried to place unconstitutional limits on caregivers in our state who privately care for thousands of the marijuana refugees that have flocked to our state for treatment with cannabis medicines that work when all else fails. One individual cares for 80 patients with epilepsy who need a specific CBD plant (Note: it’s not all just CBD, many epilepsy patients use THC/CBD blends). When he brought some of the children he treats and their parents to the state house to testify in a public comment session, there was no way the board could vote against forcing 70 children to find another caregiver. It’s a complicated situation, but the department did the right thing by avoiding this issue… for now… Other attacks on greenhouse growing in favor of highly polluting warehouse grows is on the horizon, and I’m sure the caregiver/patient number issue will be revisited in the future.

In other pot news, the Israeli government did an extensive study on cannabis and PTSD and found immediate cannabis use right after the traumatic event resulted in a significant decrease in the symptoms and future damage. No surprise, cannabinoids can cross the ultra-protective blood brain barrier, and once there they operate to protect and repair the brain itself. Funny how a substance that did that would remain illegal for so long.

Hempcrete is also in the news a lot, with a video you can see here of it blackening but not burning under a propane torch test. For people building in areas that may be prone to wildfires, hempcrete is an incredible option, and we hope to see it being used more in Colorado and elsewhere very soon. More research is also being done on hemp as an energy storage facilitator. It’s absolutely amazing what this plant’s products can be made into. Here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeW6kuZgPY4

There is news from Realm of Caring announcing they will begin getting their medication to patients everywhere soon. Congratulations to Realm and all involved in this monumental achievement. There is an awesome article that includes many details that only people actually caring for kids with epilepsy/autism can use, that I’m including here: http://www.ladybud.com/2014/09/18/realm-of-caring-announces-charlottes-web-to-be-shipped-to-all-50-us-states/

But the biggest news of all comes from a familiar source: TEAM LANDON in Colorado Springs. All I can say is watch the video on the link below, but only if you want to see a kid who had leukemia vaping a cloud pen and a stunned newscaster asking the question: “Does Cannabis Really Cure Cancer?” Landon’s test results are amazing, from dying of cancer to only needing checkups to make sure the cancer hasn’t come back. All by using cannabis oil/phoenix tears. It’s newsworthy, it has been for a long time, and now it’s finally on the actual news. The story is changing, too; now instead of focusing on whether cannabis oil should be given to children, the news is focused on real cure stories they can’t deny. It reminds me of when I made part two of Vitamin Cannabis called “Save the Children.” I had hoped it would happen sooner, but I’m glad it’s finally happening. Others are seeing it’s the children who are most vulnerable to disease, and it’s kids who benefit most from the cannabis oil.

To Rick Simpson and Christian Laurette, Landon’s story of life is your story continued. Landon and his mom Ran from the Chemo and ran to the cure, thanks to you guys. I hope you’ll watch the video and see just what is happening here in Colorado where compassion rules the day. View story here: http://denver.cbslocal.com/2014/09/24/springs-woman-claims-marijuana-cured-her-sons-cancer/

We hope you find the fall weather turns your cannabis purple. Keep the faith, keep spreading the word, we are all making a difference, folks, we truly are. :-)

September 29th 2014

Hello folks!

The 4th of July experience in Colorado was ridiculous!! It seems, for some strange reason, that a lot of people had a bunch of extra money lying around in cash they decided to spend on fireworks. My kids and I were treated to many fireworks shows going off in all neighborhoods of the city despite the fireworks ban. The smell of sulfur in the air, the loud pops and booms, the bright lights of exploding colored flames in the sky. Legality of marijuana hasn’t brought the devil to Denver just yet.  In fact recent reports indicate our violent crime, suicide, and drunk driving fatality rates are all down. Those are all reasons to be extra happy this independence day; and many were celebrating Cannabis independence too!

New numbers are in showing Colorado tourism hit 17.3 Billion dollars. A NEW STATE RECORD!! Our ski slope communities saw considerable gains, our tax coffers have been filled, and even a former PRISON in Brush, CO may be turned into a Cannabis grow facility!!

Nationally, “Charlotte’s Bill” rescheduling Hemp and CBD may become law federally, NY is advancing its CBD and medical marijuana bills, and Oregon will vote this year on Recreational Marijuana. Also from the Big Apple: the New York Times editorialized the end of Marijuana Prohibition and it led to jokes on the Tonight show, but also an acceptance that legality and rescheduling is coming in the very near future.

New legal limits for recreational marijuana in Colorado set at 10 mg per serving are forcing many edibles manufacturers out of business, as the state has said that 100 mg total per edible must be divided into 10 mg portions (to help avoid over-intoxication, they say.) This new law means a medicated potato chip manufacturer who used to sell bags of THC infused olive oil drenched potato chips in 100 mg bags would now have to separate the bag of chips into 10 different bags with only 3 chips in each bag inside a larger bag containing all 10 bags of 3 chips. Instead of continuing to make THC infused chips, this manufacturer has folded up shop. The costs and pain in the ass factor of following this regulation once again favors big business models who can afford the testing and packaging required to produce edibles for recreational use in Colorado. This only affects recreational users, this does not affect Colorado Medical Marijuana patients

But back to positive notes:
On a recent trip to our excellent amusement park in the heart of the city, Elitch Gardens, which I’ve gone to since I was a child, I was blessed to overhear a conversation behind me in line from a young woman from South Carolina expressing to her friend just how shocked she was to smell cannabis being consumed everywhere in the city (even in line for a roller coaster, or immediately after the rush as I witnessed the guy in front of me do). She was happy about it – thrilled, in fact – and her friends just laughed as she said, “Do you know what would happen in South Carolina if you smoked pot in line at an amusement park? The cops would be on you in a heartbeat!” Her male friend added (erroneously) “You can hit a bowl in front of a cop here and they can’t do shit.” (Not true; do not do it!)

We have many exciting things we are working on currently and we hope to have more good news coming soon. In the meantime, thanks once again to Rick Simpson and Christian Laurette for all they have done. We are all truly blessed to be working with this Cannabis oil.

Positive thoughts everyone’s way!

Capn Cannabis July 31st 2014

Happy first week of summer to everyone receiving this message!! May the geomagnets “shift” in your favor during the coming times…

We here in the wild wild west are blessed in our state of compassion. Our crime rates are down, our quality of life up, and our spirits high. If it weren’t for a giant supervolcano just to our north, I would say move here. Hell, move here anyways… :-)

To reiterate our earlier offer: I will personally provide, for free, 3 grams of our Cannabis Oil to the parents of any child under 18 with cancer of any kind. No waiting lists, no doctor visits, just 3 grams of the oil. With 3 kids receiving treatment currently we are hopeful that we can aid those most vulnerable and most in need.  Knowing what some of these kids have already gone through already is astonishing, I imagine a few chemo/radiation treatments, maybe a dozen or so in extreme cases. Try 100’s. By the time I am seeing these kids modern medicine has radiated and dissected them so many times the child and the parents are ready for it to be over. It’s sad. Yet with the Phoenix Tears there is always hope. We need to get to a point where the cannabis oil is the first option tried, instead of what I’m seeing done to these children.

That being said, if you are in a position yourself as a cannabis oil maker, or cannabis juicer, or cannabis tincture manufacturer, please support our offer by making one of your own to those around you. Even just a verbal offer to those around you may yield surprising results. 3 grams to any kid under 18 for free is all I’m asking. When the oil works to cure just one of these kids on death’s door, other parents will try the oil earlier and some kids will avoid suffering altogether in the not so distant future. Please help the Vitamin Cannabis team and Save the Children first if you are in a position to do so.

In Cannabis spirituality news, the Christian Church of Cannabis in Canada won a huge court ruling citing Kaneh Bosm as a religious oil mentioned in the ancient bibles, and suddenly went from a dozen members to 20,000 applicants! Congratulations to the Church, the Vitamin Cannabis team believes in the Kaneh Bosm as well, and like Bill Hicks said, “Isn’t making a plant that grows naturally everywhere on the planet illegal a little bit, unnatural? It’s like saying God made a mistake.” Cannabis was meant to grow everywhere as God intended. Some of us are righting a great wrong and growing God’s plant again… :-)

So also in Canada, Kitty litter??? The government orders patients to destroy pot they grew themselves with kitty litter so they can then be forced to buy shitty Canadian government weed?? Is this a real story?? Seriously?? Talk about the “Perfect Corporation” taking over a country… damn!! I still hope this story isn’t real and none of this happened. My favorite comment from a Canadian was this “Yeah, I’ll destroy the organic weed I grew myself. I just won’t use kitty litter. I’ll burn the weed, one bowl at a time in my pipe.” Please someone from Canada contact me and tell me you can still legally grow your own weed up there, eh?

In Pharmaceutical news, the number of patents on cannabinoids and their uses keep going up, and the government still has no explanation for patent 6630507 that first made it obvious someone knew about the properties of the cannabis oil way back in 1990’s, if not earlier. There is also evidence a big pharma company I won’t name is responsible for releasing the fake cannabinoid product “Spice” which has killed people worldwide and here in Colorado. No word on how it went from a big pharma corporate lab to a street drug with the big company still owning the patent…

Yet a man in Texas faces life in prison for making pot brownies because the cops are counting the flour and cocoa as if it were pot itself. Also, in separate news, the FBI says it may overlook pot smoking in applications in the future to attract better talent. Good for you, FBI. I’m still not applying… crazy times.

On a patient update, a stage four ovarian cancer patient of ours “Patient J” has had her cancer balled up in a microscopic lump that has to be biopsied to prove it’s cancerous, after completing a 60 gram cannabis reset. This duplicates the results of Patient X who had colon cancer and had the same thing happen. We theorize CBG (the tumor fighter) may be able to break up these small lumps (less than the size of a quarter), but surgery can do it too. It’s interesting to see that twice now, we have evidence of 60 grams of the Phoenix Tears oil entering the body of a stage 4 cancer patient, and, over time, eliminating the cancer and rounding up the microscopic remnants into a small lump easily dealt with by doctors. Phenomenal results! Congratulations to patient J on a massively successful reset. She will remain on higher doses of Vitamin Cannabis pills (self-made now – how odd that so many of my former patients have now become growers themselves :-)) to ward away future reoccurrence of the disease. I will update on the status of the lump, but we are blessed to have been a part of Patient J’s story and hope many more are to come… :-)

As I mentioned earlier, crime statistics in Denver are down despite legality of the Devil’s weed marijuana (I called it God’s plant earlier, didn’t I…) I would like to also add that the drunk driver who went the wrong way on the highway and killed marijuana activist Jenny Kush (mother of 4) was sentenced to 10 years in jail and will probably be out sooner. This means Jenny’s kids may not be out of school by the time her murderer is released. The woman was apologetic, and 10 years is a long time to serve, but it seems to me we tolerate injustice when it comes to alcohol and over-justice when it comes to pot. We’ve lost so much to booze. For Jenny, I hope many young people choose the bud instead of the beer…

Police in neighboring states to Colorado have begun regarding our Green and White Colorado license plates as wearing the “Green Badge of Courage” when driving around in other states. It seems Coloradans are being pulled over at a rate “higher” than usual – no pun intended – whilst outside the Rocky Mountain High state. Many Coloradans – both in the cannabis industry and not in it – are proud of our state regardless of our pot legality. It’s a great place and people are overall happy here. I see no reason to leave, and I wear my “Green Badge of Courage” proudly while driving around the Mile High City.

One last piece of information to release: the CBD oil for Draven’s and Epilepsy (and potentially Autism) is a ratio of 18 CBD to 2 THC, or approximately 50 mg of CBD for every 6 mg of THC. These appear to be the batches that will not get the kids “high” at all but still provide benefits. Other CBD oils can work as well with different ratios, but it’s a good target if you are looking for the CBD stuff. I, personally, am only a fan of our high THC batches, but am well aware of what is happening with CBD. On that note, a heads up: BE EXTREMELY WARY of CBD products sold online as we are seeing nasty test results confirming many of those batches are toxic. We do believe CBD oil sold online is made from toxic Chinese Hemp waste material and testing has confirmed heavy toxins presence in the oil. Just throwing it out there for those of you who may need this kind of detail in the Cannabis Alchemy you are practicing. Good luck to you, my kindred spirits :-). I wish you all the best this coming first month of summer.

Viva la evolucion, viva la oil,

Capn Cannabis
cannabischorus@gmail.com

So much has happened in the last month, it is ridiculous. Despite all that I will inform you of, there is one thing that hasn’t yet happened. There is still a cancer wing at the children’s hospital where young children with cancer are being given chemotherapy and radiation treatments that cause them to lose their hair – and sometimes their lives. Meanwhile, I would face federal charges were I to approach those children’s parents and offer a potential cancer cure in the form of the phoenix tears medicine I know how to make. So though there is much to be happy about, and the epilepsy CBD cure (a version of the phoenix tears made by people I taught to make the tears years ago) is now on CNN and major news media, I am still not able to treat children with cancer and attempt to extend their lives. Until I can do this – or others do it – I will not consider the mission complete and I will continue to fight the “Perfect Corporation” forces that oppose this.

To the 2,000 epilepsy patients on the Marijuana Refugee waiting list in Colorado: I have tested an ordinary strain of widely available Canadian imported HEMP SEED OIL. And the test results should give people everywhere hope!!  Revealed in test results linked to at the end of the post – THERE IS .01 GRAMS OF CBD IN ORDINARY HEMP SEED OIL AVAILABLE LEGALLY EVERYWHERE! Which means, for epilepsy, Draven’s disease – and other diseases where the traditional THC heavy Cannabis Oil is not applicable – ORDINARY WHOLE FOODS/VITAMIN STORE/NATURAL GROCER PURCHASED HEMP SEED OIL MAY WORK!!! If you take a few ounces a day, of course. Might I suggest one ounce in a smoothie in the morning, and a couple more times throughout the day for a month, until you see results. 100 grams of ordinary Hemp seed oil (slightly less than 4 ounces) contains approximately as much CBD as one gram of the “charlotte’s web” oil. It’s a lot more hemp oil – I know – but if you can’t afford to be a “Marijuana Refugee” and come to a compassionate state to get the CBD strain oil – if you can even get it (there is a huge waiting list but other options do exist) – then please try the hemp oil in the meantime, it can only be positive.

Secondarily, Project CBD blessed the Vitamin Cannabis team with a strain called Lady Harlequin, which I took a year to grow and finally harvested two different samples. One test showed 15% CBD and 6% THC, and one test showed 14% CBD and 5% THC. Both are great results, but here is the CBD SECRET: they are from the same plant. The test with 14% CBD was harvested at 5 weeks, while the test with 15% CBD was harvested at 8 weeks. What this secret reveals is that if you are going for CBD, you can get twice the harvests in as regular 8 week cycle plants! In theory, and we will test this soon, high CBD cannabis strains could be harvested at 4 weeks – or even sooner – to get just the CBD without as much of the THC. Save yourself weeks when growing CBD strains, and keep the same ratio of CBD to THC! The test results for both are posted here. We would love to hear other feedback on this subject, but in the meantime, to growers out there, if you have CBD plants you do not need to wait a full 8 weeks if you are growing for CBD content!

Thirdly on CBD, there is mass confusion between the heavy CBD oil (which is on the Sanjay Gupta CNN specials and other major news media) that may cure epilepsy, Draven’s, and potentially autism, and the heavy THC “Phoenix Tears” medicine that may cure cancer, Alzheimer’s, and a host of other ailments. Add to the confusion the “Cannabis Juicers” movement who ingest thousands of milligrams of raw inactivated cannabis, and we have many different options for people to try to help themselves – all of which seem to work in slightly different ways. I am doing my best to guide folks down the different paths and I would encourage everyone to help others differentiate between the CBD Cannabis Oil and the THC Phoenix Tears oil. They are essentially the same oil, just made with a different variety of the hemp/cannabis plant.

Along those lines, Utah, Florida, and several other states just legalized the use of the CBD Cannabis oil as long as it has less than .03% THC in most cases. There are several ways to get this oil, but if you don’t have an emergency case please try the hempseed oil remedy in large amounts first – though I will say, thousands of parents are moving to Colorado to get access to medicine for their children. So far it is going quite well, as there are many people here who are willing to help. Ultimately, though, I would like to see access to all forms of cannabis oil medicine everywhere – and lets empty out these damn Children’s hospital cancer wards and cure the kids first :-)

In national news, Martha Stewart has a new line of Hemp Yarn available for sale – a sign of the apocalypse for sure… Stephen Colbert calls Colorado “Potsylvania” for our “jazz cigarettes” but ultimately decides to “put his republican morals aside to rake in all the cash” from the taxes on Colorado cannabis. “The market has a spoken and it is a tokin!” he says. It’s a hysterical commentary you can see linked to here: http://thecolbertreport.cc.com/videos/5js43m/colorado-s-booming-marijuana-industry.

Spring Breakers are breaking to Colorado for our legal cannabis. Before I recently quit my job at a recreational dispensary to look for work at a medical one, I saw taxi cab after rental car after taxi cab pulling up to the pot shop with college aged tourists eager to spend money legally on cannabis. They walk out with smiles. It’s awesome to see, but I know my heart lies in the medical aspect of all of this.

Speaking of medical, after 22 years of fighting it, the Feds finally sign off on a university study to gauge the effects of cannabis on PTSD, or post-traumatic stress disorder for which there are military and civilian versions of, both of which can be helped with Cannabis. I say this having witnessed it first hand when returning Iraq veterans flocked to Colorado to benefit from the medicine available here. I think they will find massive benefits for the disorder from cannabis use, but then again I think they’ll find massive benefits from cannabis use on a lot of disorders, diseases, and ailments.

In other news, there was a pot leaf on the USA Today website and it linked to a story on Cannabis Oil for epilepsy and the marijuana refugees flocking to our state to be treated by the Realm of Caring foundation and other groups. It’s awesome to see so much coverage and even better to see kids being cured. The green is rolling into our state as the pot sales were “higher” than expected – no pun intended. In fact, the tax money is coming in so fast they will have to lower prices or everyone in Colorado may get a tax refund from the state due to our TABOR laws which require the government to give all money not budgeted for back to the citizens. We’ll know more in a few months, but legalization has brought smiles to many faces regardless of whether you voted for it or not…Mexico and Texas may legalize – more signs of the apocalypse…but a friend of Willie Nelson’s is in on it in Texas which is cool! The banks give Cannabis business the “Grow Ahead”, but the cash can’t smell like weed… :-). My former employer bought “Stink Sacks” to put the money in – specially treated bags so the cash won’t smell. Hysterical!

And lastly, I went to a concert in Denver at the Gothic theatre: The Toadies played their “Rubberneck” album. My fiancé (Hemp Girl), a friend Black Beard, and I went to see them perform their song “I Burn.” In Colorado, before 420 meant pot friendly, you would ask someone new “Hey, do you burn?” as a way of asking if they smoked pot. I always answered “I Burn” when asked, and when I heard the Toadies song of the same name, it became an anthem of my twenties. Listening to Bill Hicks comedy and “I Burn” while smoking cannabis, dreaming of legalization, and praying for a day when I could walk into a store and buy weed. That “prayer in every spark” became a reality in January, and though there is much still to be done to make sure all have access to this medicine and all can grow it themselves, I still “burn” and pray for those who are sick and in need. Spark a bowl and pray with me for the revolution that leads to the cancer cure.

We all await patiently Christian Laurette’s and Rick Simpson’s next great feat: “Run from the Cure 2” as 4-20-2014 approaches….it promises to be historic. If you haven’t seen the trailer for it yet please click here: http://youtu.be/Qv8yxuv6e1w.

Viva la evolucion, viva la oil!

Positive thoughts everyone’s way :-)

February Newsletter 2014

Folks, I wouldn’t be writing this e-mail to you if it wasn’t for Rick Simpson and Christian Laurette and the bravery they demonstrated in re-releasing an illegal cancer cure contained within a harmless plant. I have said many times they deserve a Nobel Prize for what they have done; they freakin’ deserve it. Lately, medical science has been backing up Rick’s claims to the utmost extent. I have big news in this newsletter, starting with filmmaker Christian Laurette’s “Run from the Cure 2″ movie trailer.

When RFTC came out originally, it changed the world, and my life personally. It allowed me to save family members, and random strangers, and confirm what Rick said to be outright true in every fashion. To have been a part of this epic journey where I was accidentally part of a legitimate, working, now medically proven cancer cure, can only be described as an act of God. I did not set out to do that, I set out to legalize marijuana. It just so happened the two were intertwined. I have always been a religious and spiritual person, to have witnessed with mine own eyes such miracles, such struggle overcome, and such joy, brings tears to my eyes. I am “Rich at Heart” my friends, and you can be too. Make some oil and cure someone – you will feel what I feel… :-)

Please watch the trailer for Christian Laurette’s second film about Rick Simpson here: http://youtu.be/Qv8yxuv6e1w.

Spread it to those who need to know that cannabis cures disease. And by those who need to know, I mean everyone! The film trailer is a work of art in its own right. The film itself is setting up to be a historic document telling how the cannabis oil cure was released from its cage. Please share it, share your comments, and add your verse to the poem that is this rising story. Rising like the phoenix, from the ashes of prohibition. I rate the trailer “Top Shelf” and am honored to have been a part.

In addition to that, special thanks to Justin Kander of Phoenixtears.ca for the links to THE FIRST OFFICIAL CLINICAL TRIAL OF HEMP OIL on cancer – a leukemia patient- who did have the cancer eliminated- but died from other causes.  You can see her test results over a 72 day period here: http://karger.com/Article/FullText/356446

About the rapidly advancing medical research into Cannabis oil, I am thankful for it to finally be happening. There were some holdouts who just wouldn’t believe until medical science started confirming it in clinical trials; well, here ya go! This trial, and others, have led a group in San Francisco to call for immediate clinical trials to begin in the U.S. This comes as President Obama says he will not reschedule marijuana through executive order, but he would sign a bill doing so if congress passed it and it came across his desk. It sets up a plan for certain representatives in un-pot friendly districts to still vote “no” on cannabis “legalization” to save face, while a bunch of others vote “Yes” and send a legalization bill across Obama’s desk, which he will sign – then roll up a fatty! Then it will be up to the states to decide what to do about pot… and I already know how my state feels :-)

And did I mention Hemp has already been legalized (for universities and state agricultural depts.) in the U.S.? Snuck into the farm bill just signed? Well it is, folks. Hemp is legal in my home state of Colorado for ordinary citizens, and the rest of the U.S.A. in at least some form (view article here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/the-/obama-marijuana-legalization_b_4768009.html). Can you believe it? I know somewhere Harry Anslinger is rolling over in his grave. About fucking time – pardon my French. But About FUCKING TIME!! And soon marijuana will be re-scheduled. In time for 4-20-2014, I hope :-)

Wow, what a sequence of events so quickly :-) :-) :-) Trinity of smiles, folks…

In other news, it is entirely possible the Colorado marijuana market could generate – get this – one billion dollars the first year, with over $287 million of that being tax money going to the state. Right now the estimate is $500 million, but another several dozen shops are set to open in the next few weeks.  I talked with our lead grower and he said we produced 700 pounds of pot last year. At $5,000 a pound retail, that’s over $235 million dollars retail – just from one facility. Our company has double digit figures of facilities, and there are lots of companies like ours, in addition to actual dispensaries (I work for a wholesale cannabis grow company, stationed at a dispensary – the best of both worlds), and edibles manufacturers grows. Total, by my math, there are over 400 facilities in the state who will earn $3.5 million, and that puts us at the Billion Dollar figure. $375 million is the most conservative estimate, $500 million more realistic, but a Billion is certainly possible, especially if tourists flock to the state in the summer, which is already a given. A lot of people planning “Hiking” trips here this year…

$1 Billion, and $287 million in tax revenue – and that is not including at all the other money the state is raking in from tourism, taxes on burritos/scissors/ electricity taxes. It’s all adding up to a great economy in our state. How is yours doing in your non-legal state? The town of Carbondale on the Western Slope of Colorado is seeing so many people this winter due to their one open recreational dispensary that the grocery store, gas station, and other retailers are reporting sales numbers as if it was the peak of summer tourist season – and it’s a freezing winter while they are making this money. See the article here: http://mmjbusinessdaily.com/rec-shop-lifts-businesses-in-colorado-mountain-town/.

It’s all 50 year olds and over – a growing group of cannabis enthusiasts – most seeking relief from pain and a desire to get off multiple medications with nasty side effects. Might I just say, welcome! Bring us your broken, your tired, your sick and your poor! There are those here in Colorado who can help you heal!

There is a great article on CBD you can read by following this link: http://learnaboutsam.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/CBD-brochure5.pdf.

It explains some of what the hype is, and why there is so much of it. Articles have come out recently, a 22 year old with autism has “had his light turned back on” by a CBD version of Phoenix Tears Cannabis Oil. Another 3 year old was able to clap for the first time and is experiencing similar “coming out” of the human spirit from the depths of disease. It is a blessing to the mothers of these children – I can’t help but cry a little just writing this. The genuine relief they are experiencing, seeing their children healing – as I watch on the news – is a blessing. Thank you, Lord, for Cannabis, Christian, and Rick Simpson. Children are being healed…

In related news, Josh Stanley’s Realm of Caring CBD oil non-profit has expanded, and now has a northern Colorado office to handle the patients, which now number 300 on a waiting list. The Stanley family has started “Strains of Hope” which will provide Charlotte’s Web high CBD medicine to other states and shops to begin healing children in other parts of the country, and the world – as they have an international waiting list. Families that can are moving to Colorado – 1,000 already, and more each month. The flood of marijuana refugees seeking cannabis oil in our state continues to grow. Other groups have stepped up to meet the challenge and help provide the needed CBD oil for all these children. The sense of community is strong here – we all get along – to move forward, put prohibition in the past, and put healing on the agenda.

On a few final notes, I had the honor of installing Radio Frequency Identification Tags on all the cannabis plants at our grow the other day – one of the first in history. I fought against these “seed to sale” regulations, but now I help implement them. How ironic! But I’m happy, and it’s the best paying job I’ve ever had, including managing a $1 Million a year pizza shop (which I just was able to leave). I joke at work that I would follow whatever regulations they throw at us, even if they said we had to wear hula hoops while harvesting. It became a joke: the Hula Hoop Regulation, you better follow it, $1000 fine if you don’t. It’s a joke, but we mean it. We would wear hula hoops just to grow cannabis and heal people – if that’s what it took. :-)

Speaking of Hula Hoops, after window smashing raids a couple months ago, all but 3 of the DEA raided pot shops are back open and still awaiting any charges – which probably aren’t coming. The feds and state (and IRS) flexed their muscle – the shops with $1 Million dollar grows claiming $300 a day in sales while other similar shops sold $3000 are gone – now they claim what they sell, and pay the taxes on it. That’s what it was all about: taxes. Compliant shops will be fine as they have been. The boys raided better play nice to the state, but they are back open and that’s a good thing.

A new term is circling through the industry “Trimmigrant” – a term for both a cannabis industry employee who transfers over from trimming to budtending or another cannabis job (very common 4 everyone to start as a trimmer), and also a person who moves here from another state to take a job in the cannabis industry. It’s cool to see so many cool people linking together in one state for one purpose. I’m not a trimmigrant yet – I’m still enjoying my time exposed to so much cannabis as just a trimmer – but one day I hope to make Vitamin Cannabis pills legally in a lab.

In the meantime, I’m writing an epic book about the story I’ve witnessed, the people I’ve met, the cannabis oil I’ve made and consumed, and the crazy life in pre- and post-legalization I’ve lived. I’ll leave that legacy to my Cannakids; Kyle Jr’s now 3 years old, and Serafina Faith turns 2 next month. It feels like only yesterday Kyle Jr was a newborn, I was fearing federal charges, and pot was illegal. Now they will grow up in a world where marijuana is sold in stores, Dad’s not a criminal anymore, and the cure for cancer can grow in our backyard… How happy I am for that! :-)

One more thank you to Rick Simpson, Christian Laurette, & Justin Kander for their contributions to this newsletter, and my life in general. I wish you all the best life has to offer. To everyone who has been a part of the Vitamin Cannabis story, I wish you the same. J

To those that read this far, I love you – I truly do. Positive thoughts and energy your way!

February 2014

Holiday Greetings to everyone who is jolly this day of remembrance of our creator, and also what is holy and good in this world. May you raise a toast to the blessings of our lives, and hug those close to you. Tell your mom and dad you love them, tell your friends you are grateful for them in your life, and remind yourself this life is just a ride, love is eternal, and you can be happy with how you are right now. Commemorate the love and joy we experience as you create new love and joy. Forget the sorrow, let the water flow under the bridge, and move forward with confidence into the New Year. This journey gets more epic everyday – and I’m thankful for you all riding along with me. Merry Cannabis Christmas 2013 :-)

Now to get down to business…

We are excited to announce that as a direct result of the Realm of Caring Foundation in Colorado Springs, and their CBD “Charlotte’s Web” strain, 11,000 children with Dravet Syndrome (a form of epilepsy) will receive a GW Pharmaceutical copy of the Stanley’s CBD Cannabis Oil, in a large scale attempt to cure the disease using cannabis once and for all. The FDA has approved the treatment of 5,000 kids in the U.S., and another 6,000 will be treated across the EU. I would like to congratulate everyone involved, this is a Christmas miracle for many families afflicted with a child suffering from the multiple seizures a day disease. The Realm of Caring foundation went from caring for a few kids, to 30, to 90, to a waiting list in a short time frame. This caused massive parent demand across the U.S., who demanded action both from their doctors and legislators. The parents threatened to move to Colorado, and many families, tired of waiting, have made the move here for the medicine. Now others will not have to wait; come January 2014. It’s a Christmas blessing that so many kids will have an option presented to them in the New Year.

When I made Vitamin Cannabis Part 2 “Save the Children”, it was intended to speed up the rate at which cannabis medicines could be administered to children. Once I realized the panacea the Oil is, I had time to think about who deserved to take the medicine first. I came to the easy conclusion it is the children who have exhausted all other options who deserve to have this medicine first.  It brings tears to my eyes to know that soon it will happen. First this, and soon, kids with cancer will be cured. Rick and Christian: know you are responsible for these 11,000 kids who may be cured as much as anyone. The info you put out about the Phoenix Tears will “officially” benefit kids through the allopathic system, and though that part may be bittersweet, we are all blessed to have been a part of it. Merry Cannabis Oil Christmas, guys :-)!

Conveniently, at the same time an official CBD medicine is released through the allopathic system, the FDA & DEA have announced via memo that CBD is illegal to sell across state lines. They claim it has been illegal all along, with cannabidiol classified as part of the cannabis plant, which is a schedule 1 drug. Why they have been allowing CBD sales online through various sources is a mystery, but rumor has it official letters will go out and CBD may be banned entirely except for at medical marijuana centers. If the DEA reschedules soon, though, perhaps in time with the financial decision to “Yellow Light” the banking industry to handle cannabusiness accounts, we may see CBD without THC available, but for now – get it while you can.

There is an article listing the 13 reasons Cannabis had its best year ever, and no surprise the Stanley’s “Charlotte’s Web” story takes #1. Also on the list: legality in the states of Colorado and Washington, as well as worldwide in Uruguay. It’s a list worth checking out – and hinted as to what’s to come in 2014. A study on THC killing Leukemia Cells is highlighted. Cannabis oil medicine as a cancer cure is next, folks…but of course you already know that! Check out the article here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/12/20/marijuana-2013_n_4467485.html

In Local news, the Denver City council did a 180 reversal on its policy on smoking pot on private property in the city and, instead of banning it, totally allowed it. No more worries about your neighbor snitching on you for taking a toke in the backyard. However, the same council did ban growing 12 plants or more in any one residential location. This ruins college dorm plans to group all the plants together in the basement for a massive grow –which would be legal, though ill advised. It’s still unfortunate the 12 plant limit. At least the city did appoint a new Chief of Marijuana Policy as a paid city of Denver governmental position. A few years ago they were jerks about pot, increasing citations despite a law making it lowest law enforcement priority. Now that they’ve seen the money, they can’t rush in quick enough to take their share…

Can you say “GREEN RUSH!” It’s on in Denver as 5 to 12 recreational pot shops will be open January 1st to tourists and non-medical patients in Colorado. 200 more will open in the following months. It’s a historical day for our state and the nation, as the first fully regulated state sanctioned system for recreational pot sales goes into effect. Numbers for sales in both Colorado and Washington for pot sales were DOUBLE what was expected last year- and the CO MED office turned away 245 people seeking a pot job badge to work in the industry in one day. 3,000 to 5,000 jobs would be created monthly if they had enough clerks to handle all the applications each day. Instead they process 10 to 30 a day, and badge 300 to 1000 people each month. I was lucky to get in early and get my badge in two days. I’ve had friends go eleven times. It’s just the perfect corporation trying to buy Colorado a little time, before the rest of the states wake up and realize just how much of an economy saver marijuana can be…

I watched “Vice”; it’s a documentary on Cannabis Oil that featured a little girl in Oregon battling cancer, assisted by cannabis oil in bubble gum flavored capsules. Capsuline company makes the flavored capsules, and has partnered with the Phoenix Tears Foundation to distribute some pill cases to those in need. I recommend strongly watching the VICE video to see an amazing story by clicking here: http://www.vice.com/weediquette-show/stoned-kids

On a quick non-cannabis note – thousands of students with potential exposure to Meningitis who received an illegally imported vaccine at a major Ivy League university, are proven to be worth more than public school students. The exact same virus outbreak at a California Public school does not warrant an illegal vaccine importation. I guess everyone has “Affluenza” but it’s heartbreaking to see what is done for some that is not done for others. I’m told that’s the way it’s always been, but I choose to radiate love to all, regardless of income level or social status. I think that’s the way it should be.

One last final disturbing but hopeful note that probably should have been near the top of this letter: the DEA has rescheduled Cannabis extracts into the Drug Schedule. This includes Cannabis Oil, wax, shatter, and all other concentrates of the cannabinoids in the plant. I say this is a hopeful move because it sets the stage for the government to lower the Cannabis plants schedule, but keep the extracts (i.e. the cancer cure) illegal to produce. This would give them a monopoly on the real medicine from the plant by allowing the FEDS to still bust anyone making cannabis concentrates. The states could decide their own laws on the plant itself without interfering with extracts which would remain illegal. It’s an odd situation, but we should see rescheduling of the Cannabis plant in the first 4 months of 2014. That would give a lot of people all over the ability to grow it – and that is a good thing, something to be hopeful for – as we approach the New Year.

And speaking of 2014, I wish you all the best and safest times this holiday season… Merry Cannabis Christmas to you all, and remember you are all loved. I thank you for your dedication to the cause; only the true believers read this far.

Thanks :-),

Vitamin Cannabis November Newsletter 2013

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! We have much to be thankful for in the Mile High City. My beautiful family first and foremost :-)

I had the pleasure of seeing for the first time in my life a line of people gathered outside the dispensary I work for on Black Friday. They were in line for a free pack of joints and great “Green Friday” deals on marijuana sacks. I bought some Ganja in honor of an Epic Black Friday gone green in Colorado! We hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving! :-)

There is much to get to, but we will start with Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper adding into the state’s budget for 2014, $7 Million dollars to fund 10 to 14 Cannabis research grants. This coincides with a mammoth spike in the number of Marijuana refugees flocking to the state to treat rare forms of epilepsy, cancer, and other diseases. The stories have made the rounds across all the local media channels, and it seems highly unlikely the state would set aside funding for cannabis research without a change in federal classification, but we shall see. Could the state be brazenly defying the DEA and FDA and approve cannabis research? Or will we see reclassification at the federal level before the measure goes into the state budget? I’ll be watching either way, and it is MAJOR NEWS if it is approved!

Also in Colorado, the city council of Denver backed off Draconian measures to regulate cannabis use in private homes and on private property in Denver, settling instead for a loose law stating you can’t be seen smoking in your house or yard from the street. The Denver Police chief then said if the cops get a call about a public smoker, they will ask the smoker to step inside before issuing a ticket. It’s better than the original ordinance, and we are making progress every day. The city also voted in an additional marijuana tax, as did the state, so recreational cannabis sales will be taxed at a very high 30% rate come January first, which will increase the price for rec cannabis users.

A Colorado Mother whose child used the Phoenix Tears Cannabis Oil medicine to success, then was being forced by doctors to have the kid undergo chemotherapy anyways, has won her battle against the doctors. The Colorado Department of Child Services, which was called by the doctor after the child’s mom refused chemo, declined to investigate the mother further, and the child is no longer required to do the toxic chemotherapy for a now non-existent cancer. It is another victory in Colorado, as finally parents are being able to make the decisions as to what is best for their child.

Speaking of – but stepping out of state for a moment – an Arizona family is suing their department of health in advance of marijuana concentrates potentially being banned, which is exactly what their sick child needs. They declare the cannabis CBD oil is keeping their kid well, and are suing pre-emptively to ensure a disruption of medicine does not occur. It is awesome to see hundreds of people now realizing the benefit of the cannabis oil, and also taking action against forces that would keep them from using this blessed, god given plant medicine. It’s inspiring and encouraging… :-)

Back in Colorado, the Industrial Hemp regulations have been set, and – get this – it’s a $200 fee and $1 per acre to grow as much hemp as you can on the acres you own. Come to Colorado and grow some hemp, everybody! I know I’m making plans to someday soon. We’ll see if Hemp lives up to all it has been said to and I’m expecting to find it gets the job done better, cleaner, and tougher than other materials it’s up against. Time will tell, but for $200 and a few seeds, you can help us find out right here in Colorado. :-)

Additionally, with more jobs to come from Industrial Hemp, it’s nice to know the Medical Marijuana Enforcement Division has officially “badged” over 10,000 people to work in Colorado’s medical marijuana industry. That’s a lot of new jobs, and it would be 3 times that many if they simply accepted more people into their office to get the badge. (They only take 10 a day, while 60 get stamps proving they’ve been there, it sometimes takes 10 stamps before getting to turn in your app to get a badge!) Still it is very exciting that so many opportunities have been created by cannabis, and as a worker in the industry, it’s one of the best jobs I’ve ever had, and literally a dream come true.

There is also major news out of Big Pharma – as GW Pharmaceuticals is running a human test of THC Oil (the phoenix tears) on Brain Cancer patients to see if it reduces tumors. It should work as the oil is one of few things that can cross the blood/brain barrier, and it may pave the way for more THC medicines to quickly become tested and available to the public. I’ll remind everyone they can make the same medicine themselves thanks to Rick Simpson and Christian Laurette, but it’s nice to see eventually you should be able to get the oil pre-dosed from your local pharmacist, for all sorts of ailments. I’ll still make it myself, though :-). You can view the related article here.

For your furry friends, an MIT Based entrepreneur – yes that MIT Ivy league school – and a couple veterinarians have released a CBD pill for dogs and cats called Canna-pet. It has very little CBD, but it might work, and it won’t give the dog the wobbly legs the THC can sometimes do. Further testing may reveal more to it, but for now you can legally get your kitty or puppy CBD cannabis pills, shippable all over the world because they don’t contain THC. They also are supposedly made from USA grown hemp, not the Chinese hemp scrap waster paste that other CBD suppliers use. It sounds good, but some regular hemp seed oil from the natural grocer has almost the CBD content in a couple table spoons- so fido or fluffy may enjoy a spoon of that every day, too.

In Vitamin Cannabis Oil related news, we have been experimenting with the supplement Citicoline to counteract the high the oil gives the user. So far it reduces the high feeling and durations, and limits the user’s ability to feel high in the first place. The sleep effects are still there. We are now looking into curative effects as we progress, but if you need to be on the oil and still functional, the citicoline is effective at reducing the “high.” Ideally, though, I do not recommend this method and would much rather you get “high” and then get restorative sleep, than risk you blocking the curing effects of the THC. Time will tell, though.

In International News, Dr. FeelGood is at it again. Dr. Sanjay Gupta (No relation to the marijuana strain named Sanjay Gupta) is back with another film coming out in March 2014, this time a British Documentary on a loophole that lets certain patients import cannabis from Amsterdam. It may feature other stories from that side of the world involving marijuana, and with all he has already done, people will be watching what he does next…

Lastly, there were 17 raids by IRS & DEA agents at Colorado dispensaries this past week – the first in a long time. Even with legality, we are not out of the woods yet. However, many of the places targeted had legitimate reasons to be targeted, like having a million dollars of plants growing in a warehouse but only claiming $100 a day in sales to be taxed on. Other shops had outright drug cartel ties through people who should not be in this industry, or ties to jewel heist thugs. The shop I work at – with its intricate tracking system and safeguards, background checked employees and owners, and which pays its taxes and makes the state money – was not raided. The raids are actually a sign that certain aspects of Colorado’s system are working, and working well.

I am never a fan of raids, and cannabis plants left in a parking lot to be snowed on is a shame, but if these guys were really the bad guys the feds and state say they were, then they got what was coming to them. Honestly, it seems like it came down to taxes. The dispensaries paying their fair share were left alone. I’m glad to pay taxes on cannabis – and the first $40 million of it goes to kids in Colorado schools. The system works, is working, and is growing rapidly!

This November 2013, after Thanksgiving and Black Friday are finally over, I’m smoking a bowl of my Green Friday weed and saying a prayer of thanks. I’m thankful for my family, for my friends, for Colorado, and for Cannabis. Won’t you say that prayer with me? :-) Viva la evolucion, viva la oil!!

November 29th “Green Friday” 2013

We have lab test results! Great results that are now posted on the site: 84% and 80% Cannabinoid content respectively, from two different methods. I go into detail on the test results in a new video – “Vitamin Cannabis News #1″ which you can view at the end of this article – and feature some updates on the “Realm of Caring” Foundation of the Stanley Family and Dr. Alan Shackleford, who are featured in “Dr. FeelGood” Sanjay Gupta’s CNN Documentary “Weed.” The documentary, which has aired twice already, features a young girl with a rare form of epilepsy who is almost cured of seizures by Joel Stanley’s CBD heavy Cannabis oil. Dr. Gupta also interviews a cancer patient in Israel who is smoking cannabis through a vaporizer, under doctors’ orders, to keep the cancer he had from coming back. Another Colorado patient we know Chaz Moore was also featured and his seizure reductions using cannabis medicines. Overall, it was the first time the marijuana as a disease cure and prevention story was featured on national news in a mostly positive light. Perhaps the tide is turning, and reclassification may be on the way at the federal level very soon – which would be awesome :-)

In other news, researchers at the University of Saskatchewan have discovered cannabis’s unique ability to produce cannabinoids; a “pathway” which no other plant uses to convert molecules and transform them to something useful. Check out the article here if you’d like to know more.

The federal government in the U.S. Also funded another study by a California University to find something bad about pot, and they only found that it does indeed have medicinal benefits, which is quite contrary to the current federal stance surrounding hemp/marijuana. It seems the “anecdotal” evidence is mounting and there are now calls in medical journals for more research to be done immediately using cannabis medicine as the primary treatment in all sorts of areas related to the endocannabinoid system. Exciting stuff for sure.

In Canada, a study also found that children raised in Cannabis “Growhouses” – often thought to be “at risk” – are actually slightly more likely to be just fine that kids in houses that don’t grow pot. No surprise there; it takes intelligence and heart to grow good cannabis, and good kids.

Vermont farmers will be allowed to grow hemp, and the number of states with medical cannabis bills and hemp bills and outright legality bills coming this year is growing every week. The “tipping point” of 25 states with some form of legal cannabis will be reached soon and then the feds will most likely be forced to act. Or so we can only hope, but as I’ve learned from this: the powers that be do what they want, regardless…

Speaking of which, Colorado’s confidential medical marijuana registry has been BREACHED and a duplicate, parallel database is being created with each and every entry into the  constitutionally protected confidential medical marijuana patient and caregiver registry, which provides all law enforcement agencies, and some non-background checked third party private security companies, 24/7 access to Colorado’s protected medical marijuana registry. It’s totally illegal, immoral, and unconstitutional – but really – I don’t see what good it does them…I mean, so law enforcement knows I bought an ounce of weed and a few medicated chocolate bars, is that really a big deal to me? No it’s not. So, although I am upset about the constitutionality breach, I don’t think it’s going to be an issue for most normal law abiding citizens like myself….but it’s still Bullshit!

And finally, in major news in my life: I have reduced my pizza delivering ways from full time to part time, and taken a job full time 40+ hours a week in a Colorado Cannabusiness which grows marijuana. I work every day in a church building that has been converted to a congregation of cannabis plants. Where people once filled pews, pot plants fill rows. I’m the son of a preacher, and I feel right at home in my church of cannabis. It’s a dream come true, and I am thankful, Lord, I truly am thankful! :-) God bless you all.
