Howdy from the wild wild weed filled west.  Happy Fourth of July everyone! May this message find you well and happy after this fine Patriot’s Day.  :-)

I’d like to start by saying Colorado tourism is up 3%, and I think it has a lot to do with our “friendly” attitude towards a beloved plant. The tax numbers are in, and 2012 saw over $5 million dollars collected in revenue by the state of Colorado, and that’s just in actual pot sales, and the tip of the iceberg. Tax revenue benefiting us all will continue to, pardon my pun, grow and grow, and pardon my pun again, like a weed! It’s beautiful times for all things pot in the state of Colorado…

In local regulatory news, the Department of Revenue “lost” some of the pot shop licenses, which were on a computer hard drive that somehow went missing or was deleted, the DOR won’t say. It’s suspicious to say the least, and incompetent at best, but oh well, it really doesn’t make that much of a difference to the average pot smoker.

Separate from cannabis but related, Colorado’s Crime Lab operator retired after a scathing report indicating falsification of lab test results for drug cases at the Colorado State testing lab. It seems the lab techs weren’t really doing their jobs like they should have been, instead they were “dry testing” drug samples (by using them?) and then reporting them as drugs despite not actually lab testing them. Some samples were outright changed to benefit police reports, and other issues of corruption at the lab have come to light, putting thousands of convictions at risk of being reviewed. It has happened in other places, no surprise it is happening here. What is surprising is it was happening at all; it seems like no place is immune to corruption anymore, but at least now it seems to also come into the light at lot quicker. Time will tell the ultimate results of this abuse of power.

And speaking of corruption, it was revealed the CEO of the Komen foundation, the pink ribbon starting race putting on non-profit organization that is apparently “racing for a cure” and accepts donations for cancer research, just gave their CEO a raise in salary to $684,000 a year, which is way more than the head of the United Way and other huge non-profits make. At the same time, the Komen foundation is cancelling races across the United States due to “lack of funding.” This organization is not looking for a cure, and it takes advantage of well-intentioned people who mean to donate to cancer cure research, but instead donate to a CEO’s inflated salary. Then the org spends virtually no money on actual research, and a ton of money buying machines from huge pharmaceutical companies to diagnose more people with cancer. Which of course will mean more treatments with chemo and radiation. Rick Simpson and Christian Laurette were right folks! The Pink Ribbon “Race for the Cure” people are actually “Running from the Cure” and have been contacted numerous times about the effectiveness of the Cannabis Oil, and have refused to respond. It’s up to each of us to tell others about the cure – and not by wearing a pink ribbon, but by mentioning Cannabis…

I’d like to interrupt this diatribe of negativity by pointing out some positive things in Colorado’s new laws, including the ability for ordinary citizens to have 72 ounces of a liquid cannabis concentrate or extract, of which the Cannabis oil falls into the category of! So basically, you can have enough Phoenix Tears on you to empty out most hospitals children’s cancer wards, and it would be totally legal. Awesome!!  You wouldn’t make Big Pharma any money, but you would make some parents very happy – and eventually kids are not going to die from cancer anymore :-)

And on another positive note, a study has revealed high CBD inside a humans system can help them eliminate cigarette smoking. My first hand anecdotal evidence confirms the study findings: on my heavy CBD “Batch Two” Vitamin Cannabis Oil, I still smoke, but curse myself whilst I puff and the cigs are not as enjoyable. I’m trying to quit –maybe more CBD could give me the will to finally kick the habit!

Okay, back to the negative, as the pendulum swings both ways. The U.S. Federal government did not legalize industrial hemp as part of the farm bill like it was so close to doing, so it will be another year before Colorado growers can plant their ten acres without fear of federal persecution, but some are doing it anyways. The Feds did allow for universities in hemp legal states to begin research projects, which is cool. I have a feeling our colleges will be looking into non-flammable hempcrete for building houses in our very flammable forests.

In Florida, an outright ban on pipes has been passed, and a second offense carries automatic jail time. I’m not sure if this also covers apple bongs and pop can pipes, but I assume it does. Imagine getting jail time for a toilet paper roll pipe! Clearly some individuals are still lost in a daze of endocannabinoid deficiencies. There are a lot of seniors in FL, so soon enough the benefits of the plant will reach even them; although it may take longer, seeing what is happening now with Florida politicians…

On a final note, in the early days of Colorado as a state, people flocked to our mountains and hot springs to seek relief from tuberculosis, and many places catered to those seeking respite from ailment. Today in 2013 I am witnessing history repeat itself, as thousands of people are coming to Colorado to seek cannabis oil, cannabis edibles, and just plain cannabis, to ease their suffering, and the pains of their loved ones. It is beautiful to see so many seeking to make their homes here. I can tell you from having seen 37 of 50 states, Colorado has something special, and our laws are only part of it. Our people, our spirits and souls all thrive on Rocky Mountain air and water. There is something here radiating positive energy, and it is being felt the world over, and drawing kindred spirits here, to take their rightful role, in the cannabis revolution.

I send some of that positive energy to you now~

Thanks for coming with me on this journey~

Happy 4th of July 2013- Capn Cannabis

Howdy readers!

A jolly time we are having in Colorado’s Wild Wild West. So good in fact, that “High Times” Magazine, and all Cannabis based print media, has been labeled as “Porn” by the Colorado legislature, and must be kept behind newsstand counters. Kush magazine used to be free at 7-11; High Times used to be visible up front. Now I can’t even find them most places. But weed stories are on the news almost every night. Crazy times…UPDATE: Colorado has just thrown out this law and my nug porn will return to normal places J

I was sent a link to an Italian Government sponsored study on “Future Cannabis Medications” that cited Rick Simpson’s method twenty times! I want to emphasize, the study does not focus on if Phoenix Tears Cannabis Oil works, but on what the best way to extract the cannabinoids from cannabis is. People in the world know it works! Is Naphtha really best, as Rick has always said? Check out the study results for yourself at the link at the bottom of this post/e-mail. I have said before Rick Simpson will win a Nobel Prize for re-releasing the phoenix tears formula. If he keeps getting cited by official government studies like Italy’s, it is going to happen. And he deserves it, I might add!

Speaking of Rick Simpson, he looks incredibly young, vibrant, and healthy in the movie American Drug War 2: Cannabis Destiny, by Kevin Booth. I saw the film at Cherry Creek Mall Cinema in Denver, a rare pot event in upscale Cherry Creek, but it was great to see it on the big screen. Did you know there are no cannabinoid receptors in the part of the brain stem where breathing and cardiovascular function is controlled (medulla oblongata), and that is why it’s impossible to overdose and die on cannabis? Its information like this, along with Cash Hyde’s incredible story, that make me say everyone should see this movie. Prohibition is going by the wayside, and its films like Kevin’s that will help push it into the fire. I spark one up for Cannabis Destiny – go see it!!

A study in Israel also determined Cannabis is effective in protecting the brain both before and after traumatic brain injuries. There seems to very little this plant is not effective at. Treating dogs can be another use of Cannabis, a veterinarian in CA reports. I have seen this and can verify the effects of the oil on dogs can be as amazing as on people, and it usually takes less oil. Another web posting describes Mango’s and its ingredient Myrcene, and their effect on “getting high” with cannabis. Reportedly the mango extract can make the high “higher” if used an hour before, and can lengthen the high if used while already high. Mango in the raw may be even better than the extract. Mango Smoothie, anyone?

In local Colorado news, Rev. Brandon Baker of the THC Ministry, which put on my film premiere in Denver and subsequent screening in Colorado Springs, is suing the State of Colorado for the illegality of the blood draws in the new THC DUI law. I applaud Rev. Baker for his efforts, and would like to add Olympic athletes can win Gold medals and have 149 nanograms of THC per ML of blood, but in Colorado we are considered “impaired” at only 5. That doesn’t make much sense – the limit should be much higher or determined on a person’s actual roadside sobriety and ability to drive a vehicle. Let alone the issue of a cop forcing you to a hospital to have your blood drawn and its blatant unconstitutionality. The law will probably stay on the books, though…sad.

On a happier note: HEMP IS LEGALIZED IN COLORADO! As is recreational Cannabis, of course. But all Colorado residents can apply for a permit to grow 10 acres of industrial Hemp. I’m gonna try and do it :-) I was able to be in the Governor’s office for the signing of the Hemp Production act in Colorado, and a video of the event can be viewed below. I also did a short “History of Hemp: Hemp for Victory!” Video documenting how hemp became legal in our state. A third video released the past month also shows the complete press conference and signing of our recreational marijuana regulation bill, which will allow pot shops to open in Colorado in January of 2014, and sell to anyone 21 or over. It’s gonna be awesome :-)

We also have a special “Batch Two” of Vitamin Cannabis with a much higher CBD content, and it is wonderful to be in a position to have such a blessed medicine. Fight for your Cannabis rights, folks – it will mean the world to you in the future!

Positive thoughts your way

Hello everyone- I hope your flowers are in bloom and some THC/CBD per day is keeping the Doctor’s away. :-)

I was visited by Lady Harlequin and CBD Bill the other day, and I posted a video of it you can watch here:

<iframe width=”420″ height=”315″ src=”http://www.youtube.com/embed/E4afLD1BufM” frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>

CBD Bill has a lot of great information about Cannabidiol, which may be the glue that sticks us together as it relates to the endocannabinoid system. Bill will also give you a cutting of his CBD heavy strain Harlequin if you contact him at the e-mail address in the video. It’s awesome to see people with incredible plant knowledge coming to Colorado to share what they know, which can benefit us all. I hope to continue to bring you videos through my YouTube that contain rare people and plants. If you listen close, CBD Bill imparts vast knowledge. Let’s prove this cannabis panacea cure-all, get cured, never get disease, live 150 years, and go to space. It’s a fun message, and entirely possible with Cannabis. :-)

In local Colorado Cannabis news, our Governor will sign into law the legislatures Amendment 64 (marijuana legalization) implementation bills, and also legalize industrial hemp, on Tuesday at the Colorado State Capital. It’s sure to be a historic signing – and I’m proud of our state, and her people. Legal hemp and somewhat legal cannabis with THC – wow! There was a time we all thought it would be California that legalized first. Now I get to watch history happen here in my state – incredible! Don’t worry, I’m sure your next, Cali!

In Global Cannabis News, the International Olympic Committee has decided to increase the amount of THC allowed in an athletes’ blood without disqualifying him to 150 nanograms of THC per 1 milliliter of blood. So athletes can win a Gold medal as the best in the world at something with 149 nanograms of THC per ML of blood in their system, but Colorado said I can’t drive with more than 5 nanograms of THC per ML of blood or I can get a THC DUI. Good for the IOC for recognizing THC in the system does not mean impairment, and as CBD Bill points out in the interview, THC and CBD at a 1:1 ratio would mean the impossibility of being high, no matter what the levels, but a user might feel tired. I think a THC DUI level set at 150 nanograms is a lot more fair and reasonable than 5. Ridiculous… It’s going to take some time to work all this out…

I’d also like remind Denver-ites to RSVP to American Drug War 2: Cannabis Destiny- a film by Kevin Booth of Sacred Cow. I have seen the film, and it is amazing!  A must see for oil makers, oil users, cannabis juicers, and all Cannabis advocates or consumers. Hemp Girl and I will be at the premiere in Cherry Creek on June 6th at 7:30 PM at AMC 8 – but you must buy tickets in advance to help make it happen. It will be an epic event, for sure, and you will leave changed, and empowered to do more for the movement and your own family. Reserve your tickets now at http://www.tugg.com/events/3877  for the Denver event, or look for a premiere in your area.

As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail cannabischorus@gmail.com. Big things are on the horizon – let’s ride the wave!

– Capn Cannabis

Happy May, everyone! I hope your flowers are in bloom and spirits rising! We have much to be excited about in Colorado, as new laws enacted by our legislature will allow all residents to buy an ounce of weed starting January 1st, 2014. Out-of-staters and even international mile high state visitors will be able to buy a quarter ounce of cannabis at a time.  There is much to be hopeful about, but much to be upset about as well.

First, I need to mention my announcement of a “dead” and “killed” THC DUI bill last newsletter proved to be too soon. In one more case of government and corporate authorities doing what they want despite strong public objection, the THC DUI bill is now on Governor Hickenloopers desk and when he signs it many cannabis users will be criminals again. Ridiculous! The bill was defeated in committees four times, but they passed it anyway by slipping it in at the last second. Other last second regulations passed before the legislature went to summer vacation include the following: High Times magazine is now considered “porn” and must be kept behind counters with the pornography (High Times is vowing to sue), Cannabis “Collectives” of patients gathering together to help themselves has been banned, and so has using sunshine to grow your cannabis. It is immoral to ban using sunshine, and so against God and nature that I can’t even begin to rant about it, but let me tell you they also banned smoking in bars or clubs, and A64 club – of which I’m a member – has cancelled all upcoming events until the laws are sorted through by the army of cannabis attorneys living the high life in our state. There is also a 9 month moratorium on any new recreational cannabis businesses opening, giving medical shops a head start on monopolizing the market.

Overall, other than the banning of growing cannabis using sunshine, and the banning of cooperatives, clubs, and collectives, I am most upset the THC DUI bill passed with the rights for cops to demand blood tests from suspected pot smokers. I’m still extremely happy our state has cannabis recreational use laws on the books, and am proud of the history we make. I will continue to watch it closely and report to you as best I can how things are going. One thing that didn’t change: you can still grow 6 big pot plants in your house and carry an ounce of weed on you at all times as you go about your day – and that is a beautiful thing! :-)

Do you know the biblical story of the three wise men? They travel a great distance, guided by a star, to give the newborn baby messiah three gifts; gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Regardless of your religious affiliation or non-affiliation, it’s an interesting story. No one seems to question what the point of the three gifts was, but please allow me to enlighten you with knowledge straight from the Knights of the Templar…whatever the hell that means….:-)

Gold was used as currency, thus the first gift makes sense – a small amount of money to assist the parents with the costs of caring for the child. But what about the other two? According to ancient recipes taken from the days when Cannabis was “Kaneh Bosm” in Hebrew, the two ingredients, combined with cannabis oil, make the biblical version of “the cure”, the “phoenix tears”, the “Vitamin Cannabis.” The three wise men were bringing ingredients to make holy cannabis anointing oil, which could also be used for curing someone. Remember that this Christmas…and keep the Cannabis in Christmas!

And finally, a story was spoken to me about the origin of the term “phoenix tears.” I can’t verify its truth – but oral history is important, and I’ll convey the message regardless. The story goes the North American Indians, when hunting and traveling, burned giant fires at the center of camp and kept these fires burning for months. When it was time to move, and the fires were finally put out, the natives discovered the sand of the earth underneath the embers, had turned to glass. These clear pieces of crystal were called “Phoenix Tears” and said to have mystical, spiritual properties. They were savored as devices of divinity, garnering protection and positive energy. The glass “Phoenix Tears” had much value, and was sacred to certain tribes.

In looking at our “Phoenix Tears” cannabis oil, and though Rick Simpson named it (as told in his fantastic book) after the Harry Potter reference, I can’t help but feel that our Tears are as cherished, and as valued, as the Tears of the fires that burned on our continent long before our presence here. And if there are any spirits left dwelling in the nature of the planet, surely they hover over those focused and persistent in bringing nature in tune with humanity again. To all the hemp growers and oil makers out there: this bowl is to you – and to the Phoenix Tears name we all honor.

Good thoughts and good will to all!

Happy March to everyone! We have snow here and my daughters 1st birthday to enjoy. I can’t believe it has been a whole year! She is walking now and will be talking soon. My son is two now and walks and talks like a champion. Cannabis is talked about every day in my state, and it’s good times, though I watch what is happening closely. :-)

First things first, Miguel Lopez of Denver’s 420 Marijuana Rally has granted me the supreme honor of speaking this year at the largest gathering of legal pot smokers in the world. I will be giving a short speech sometime between 2 pm and 4:20. I have also been tasked with contacting the Guinness book of World Records about our “Historical Toke” when more humans will legally smoke cannabis at the same time than ever before in human history. I’ll let you know how it goes, but if you can be in Denver on 4-20-13, you can be a part of an historic event. :-)

I also wanted to let you all know there is now a way to grow real diamonds in a glass jar in your home for about $100. It’s going to change the way we view diamonds in the long run; they will suddenly be cheaper than ever before. You’ll be able to make a car from diamonds, a house from diamonds, and my personal favorite, you’ll be able to grow a chia elvis on your kitchen windowsill, complete with real diamond hair! An industry that promoted child soldiers and gem hoarding, now will be totally changed by a chemical reaction that anyone can cause. I bring it up both to mention “Chia Elvis” and to say that I hope that the cannabis oil does to the chemo/radiation industry what the “grow your own diamonds” will do to the diamond industry. And I hope Hemp replaces plastics, wood, and paper. I can’t wait for simple changes to have big effects on major industries. I know cannabis products are safer, better, stronger, and more bio-degradable or recyclable. I know Hemp/Cannabis can change a whole bunch of industries. Who knows- maybe one day I’ll have a chia elvis, with a diamond beard, and cannabis hair. One can dream- right? There is a lot to get to this month so I’ll start first with what’s happening with Colorado’s Marijuana legalization!!

For starters, the regulatory committee of 25 people (mainly prohibitionists) has passed on their recommendations to our Governor, who is not happy about any of it. I’m not happy with some things….The recommendations include out of staters only being able to purchase 1/8th of weed at a time (how are they going to enforce that unless they track it?), there is a 10 Milligram of THC limit on Recreational edibles (at least my T Class pills would still be legal), Employers can fire you for your off the clock cannabis use (totally unconstitutional), you must have two locks on all residential grow rooms even if you don’t have kids, and last but not least, YOUR FRONT PORCH IS NO LONGER CONSIDERED YOUR PRIVATE PROPERTY IF YOU ARE SMOKING CANNABIS ON IT!!!  That last one is a doozy because really your front (and back) porches are your property, but written into the regulations to be passed will be the authority for police to arrest you on your front porch for doing something legally allowed by the Colorado State Constitution. So basically, the voters said smoking cannabis on your porch was fine, but the prohibitionists didn’t like that, so they are making state laws allowing for the arrest of you on your porch only if the officer can see you smoking cannabis from the sidewalk, street, or another house. It’s not that way with alcohol, I’d just like to say…

I recently attended a meeting of Ganjapreneurs- people looking for money to start cannabiznesses in Denver. I was there to see if any of the 80 dispensary owners left want to help me bring Vitamin Cannabis pills to legal market. Some had not even heard of the Cannabis as a cancer cure story, or Rick Simpson, or Phoenix Tears, so needless to say it did not go well and I am extra thankful my video “How to Make the Cure: Vitamin Cannabis Encore” is up and available to anyone who may need it. I have met some positive individuals by chance lately and I still have hope for my pills to get to a legal market soon.

I did enjoy my encounter with Wayward Bill Chengalis, the head of the U.S. Marijuana Political Party. He has continued the tradition, started by the Late Great Marijuana Activist Ken Gorman, of throwing “legalization” rallies on the steps of the Colorado State Capital Building on the last Saturday of every month. I had been a regular attender and filmer of these rallies prior to my kids being born, but I still showed up a few times even afterwards. Once A64 legalized marijuana in Colorado, it was questioned as to whether or not the rallies should still take place. Wayward Bill, in Ken Gorman’s honor, will continue the rallies, and as he says “for the other 48 states who don’t have legal cannabis.” Right on, Bill!

I had the great privilege of being a friend of Ken Gorman’s after his release from prison on pot charges. I attended many rallies with him and saw him in action.  My favorite memory is watching Ken toss joints into the crowd. There were sometimes 30, sometimes 300 people at the rallies. Ken put on a great show regardless of how many people showed up. Those rallies were his church, his sermons created the movement that is now becoming an industry and a globe changer. I’ll never forget a rally of 40 people in the rain; Ken with his bullhorn organizing everyone under tarps that came out of nowhere as we sat on the steps leading down from the capital. “No Pot, No Peace!” Ken led us in chanting. “We won’t have peace on the planet until pot is legal everywhere!” he yelled to the gathered, as they smoked joints kept dry under hands and hats. The rain poured- but our freedom reigned true…thank to Ken Gorman.

This year, at Miguel Lopez’s Ken Gorman Memorial 4/20 Marijuana Legalization Rally, there will be a record 100,000 people toking cannabis LEGALLY during one minute, 4:20 PM.  History will be made in Civic Center Park in Colorado in 2013. And I will be there as one of that 100,000 strong crowd, and I know Ken will be present in spirit as well.

We will set a historic record for all humanity at 4:20 PM on 4-20-2013. It will be at a rally Ken Gorman started in the 90’s that more people will smoke in unison than ever before in human history. Thank you, Ken, for all you did. We honor you this 4:20 – Rest in Peace, Brother, fellow soldier, and friend. This toke’s for you… :-)

In other pot warrior news, the Reverend Roger Christie of the THC Ministry has had his trial delayed for a third time, and his release denied, saying he “is a threat to the community.” All he did was have a legal church distributing cannabis sacrament to members in exchange for donations. I can’t imagine why the government on any level would have a problem with that, but he was arrested and has been held longer than some Guantanamo detainees, and he is not a terrorist. It’s blatantly unconstitutional, but the longer they hold him the more convinced I am he will end up walking out of jail the day Cannabis becomes legal in Hawaii. It may not go down that way, as I think the government is more pissed off about tax issues than anything, but he should be released- it is ridiculous that he is being persecuted in this way. Let Christie free!!

And a SERIOUS HEADS UP to Hash Pen users and CO2 and Butane Extraction smokers: You are most likely being poisoned, as regulations considered – then shelved – revealed much this week at the a64 hearings. It turns out some of the oil meant for “dabbers” or vape pens and such, is being laced with Sirlene, or propylene glycol, which is an ingredient in anti-freeze. I avoid all Co2 and Butane products. Period. Right now most of the people making those do it for profit and don’t give a shit about you. It’s not fair, it’s just what’s going on, and you need to be careful about what you are consuming. Just a warning, we have heard other stories about poor quality butane, alcohol, and other unsafe items being used in the production of CO2 and Butane Cannabis Extracts. Many people are reporting feeling “weird” or “strange” after smoking vape pen cartridges and supposedly poor quality wax can ball up in your throat. Be safe out there everybody, and make your own bubble hash if you can and smoke it with a magnifying glass. :-)

On a final note, never doubt that a small group of dedicated people can change the world, in fact it’s the only thing that ever has. I know for certain a small group of 20 dedicated people in Colorado led a groundswell that, over 20 years, added thousands more dedicated people, and eventually those voters legalized cannabis in Colorado – and the place where the first arrest took place – took the first steps in ending cannabis arrests altogether. The first dominoes have fallen and others will soon follow. It’s sweet times for Cannabis all around. I got my tickets to the first ever American High Times Cannabis cup, and this year everyone over 21 can smoke! I’ve been to the “medicating” tent the last two years and it has been epic. This year all can join in on the fun! I will also be there on 4-20 at Civic Center Park. Join me if you can, and take a toke for freedom, cannabis, and the cure! Yes We Cannabis!  The power is truly in our hands.

Viva la evolucion, viva la oil!

Thank you all for your continued support! I love you all!

GREAT News For December

I have great news everyone on multiple fronts- the first- COLORADO HAS LEGALIZED ONE OUNCE AND GROWING SIX PLANTS as of TODAY!!! Our Amendment 64 has been signed into law by Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper’s hand. I shook that same hand many years ago with Ken Gorman while talking about Hick’s Hemp Beer, when he was still mayor elect. To think that he is the one that signed it into law makes me realize how activism can sometimes come full circle. In Colorado, I’ve been working for years to change people’s minds about Cannabis. Finally, it has paid off!!!

Congratulations to Washington State, as well, whose citizens celebrated their freedom by toking up under the Seattle space needle. How cool is that? Awesome times in our two states- and other states are soon to follow- as already Oregon has said to her citizens that it is cool to go to Washington to buy medical weed, as long as you aren’t driving home stoned. The tax dollars will stay in Washington even though the weed goes to Oregon- how long before the states realize the lost revenue source and legalize it everywhere- five years? I hope less- but for now- it’s a great time to be a Colorado citizen- and I hit the 4:20 pm mark today with a new sense of pride. I have smoked a bowl every 4:20 mark possible for 18 years now- to celebrate the fact I had weed during prohibition-and not to take my toke for granted. I also smoke at that time to remember those that have fought for the right to grow, and those locked up for the plant. I will still smoke the 4:20 bowl- but now it is to remember those in other states, who aren’t as free as I am. I will still do all I can to help change minds everywhere. :-)

IN OTHER MAJOR NEWS- It’s rare to see the word “Cannabinoid” anywhere on popular news websites, but that’s just what happened as an Oncologist treating an 8 month old little boy battling brain cancer CAME OUT IN SUPPORT OF THE CANNABIS OIL after watching it work, through the blood/brain barrier, to reduce the child’s tumor dramatically. The oncologist goes on to say, at the risk of his own job and medical license, that Cannabis Oil SHOULD BE THE FIRST LINE OF ATTACK for children with cancer, as the chemo and radiation have long term effects that can be devastating. The parents put the Cannabis Oil on a pacifier and had the infant suck on it- getting it directly into the blood stream through the mucosa glands in the mouth. A fantastic story you can find here: Cannabis For Infant’s Brain Tumor, Doctor Calls Child “A Miracle Baby“.

It’s only a matter of time before more HONEST AND DECENT DOCTORS come out in support of the Cannabis oil. If you have a doctor that isn’t supportive- do what you feel is best- but know that it make take you curing yourself before a doc will believe you- and that’s okay. You will be rich at heart from this- and your life will be extended. :-)

A couple other comical notes- I found out that Popeye- (yes the sailor man) – had magical spinach- that is probably code for marijuana. It seems when the comic was started in the 1940’s, “Spinach” was a term used for marijuana. In early editions of the comic strip- Popeye can be seen smoking his green spinach in a pipe, and even in a hookah on one strip. Turns out it’s been weed giving Popeye his powers all this time. Crazy the amount of cannabis references in everyday life most even hardcore stoners aren’t aware of.

Another story from the lunatics at CU Boulder who sprayed fish fertilizer on their grass in order to stop the annual 420 celebration; this time a couple students gave their history class pot laced brownies- and a few had to be hospitalized because they were too high and had no idea what was making them feel funny. No one was hurt- but the students are facing felony charges for their prank. I graduated high school over a decade ago and this prank was done all the time back then too, so to me it’s no different than someone spiking a punch bowl with alcohol at a party. It’s still wrong to trick someone into ingesting anything they may not want to, but the Denver Post headlining this story as if it is a huge problem is ridiculous. Charge the students for their prank, be glad it wasn’t alcohol, and be done with it. Pot’s not the problem. :-)

On a final note- I have learned the same lobbying group that forced all small cannabusiness out of business through ridiculous overburdening regulation- is also representing the outright evil Fracking industry, whose goals include poisoning our water supply for generations to come. Remember folks, medical pot is legal to sell in Colorado- for millionaires who were millionaires before they got into the pot business. Small time selling is outright banned, and an unconstitutional “caregiver registry” has just gone into effect that is designed to force more small caregivers out of business. Though we can all grow six plants and carry an ounce of pot now even without being on the Schindler’s list that is Colorado’s Medical Marijuana Registry, there are still many hurdles to climb before the people will be able to help themselves- and not just give the perfect corporation more money. But it’s getting better every day- and today was historical, and epic, and I’m proud to be in the Mile High City- and a state where our official Colorado song mentions getting high around a campfire. Rock On Mile High State- the world is sure to follow….

Kyle Marsh “Capn Cannabis” Written Monday December 10th, 2012- the day Colorado legalized. :-)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you spent time with those you love and gave thanks for the blessings in your life. I know I am thankful! For my family, for my health, and for the hope in the future of Colorado’s Cannabis Revolution. I’m also thankful for Rick Simpson, Christian Laurette, Dr. Bob Melamede, Ken Gorman, and all the other kind souls who have contacted me during this journey, and the knowledge they have passed on to me, that I will pass on to my children. Somehow part of me feels this is the end, and part of me feels it’s just the beginning…

To that end, we have released a video called “Vitamin Cannabis: How to Make the Cure” after numerous weekly requests for specific instructions on how to make the pills. Since, tragically, even with Amendment 64, I cannot legally open a small business that sold just the pills, this video became a must. So for all of you who keep e-mailing me asking to buy the medicine- I do not sell it! But this video should help you make it yourselves. :-) I want to add that the frozen everclear method using an essential oil distiller video posted on youtube is the best method I have seen for making the oil, second only to Rick Simpson’s method posted in Christian Laurette’s “Run From the Cure.” I am not trying to step on any toes by releasing this video, this is just one method of making the Cannabis Oil, and as long as you have breath in your body and potent cannabinoids, regardless of your method of obtaining them, the medicine will work!

In Amendment 64 legalization news, history is being made daily in our state, and first the cities of Boulder and Denver have dropped all misdemeanor cannabis possession charges on their dockets. The prosecutors felt they would not win the case if it came to a jury trial, so they dropped them all. Some prosecutors are refusing to drop the charges on plaintiffs in their small redneck counties and cities, and those D.A.’s are what I call “Dickheads.” I hope the D.A.’s in those counties reconsider and follow the will of the people of Colorado.

In Grand Junction, a leaked police memo sets a standard most police in the state may adopt, which says as of right now not to arrest or ticket anyone for less than an ounce of marijuana on them. The hysterical part of the memo regards the police and their inability to hand you back your marijuana if they confiscate it to weigh it. It seems the police would be “transporting a controlled substance” according to Federal law, if they hand you your (less than an ounce) bag of weed back. The memo instructs the police officers to set the pot down and ask you to pick it up. This is going to lead to some hysterical encounters if officers actually do this. My guess is that most officers will just get really good at eyeballing over an ounce of weed in a bag. It’s still funny to me- the cops can weigh your sack of herb now, but can’t hand it back to you if it’s legal according to state constitutional law. The times, they are a changin’.

Attending the Amendment 64 Symposium and Highway 420 Book signing event in Denver last week- Rob Corry delivered the line of the night, saying that “Due to the new laws non-requirement of a Colorado state ID for retail pot sales, out of state and international ID carrying persons over 21 will be able to legally purchase cannabis in Colorado. This means, with tough new cannabis laws in the Netherlands, people from Amsterdam will be flying to Colorado to buy weed.” The line got cheers and hurrahs! I should add all of this retail sales stuff won’t happen for a year or longer- but carrying an ounce will be legal in 3 weeks, so will growing 6 plants. I also met an Amsterdammer at last years 420 rally- and she said with Colorado’s openly advertising pot shops and cannabis events monthly- we were already way ahead of what for decades stood as the Cannabis Capital of the World. I can officially say- Colorado has taken that torch- and we intend to burn it bright.

Warren Edson spoke on the THC DUI measure of 64, which everyone is watching very close. A Zero Tolerance policy has already been thrown out; now it may be set at you are “impaired” according to the state at 5 nanograms of THC in your blood per milliliter. This could be very bad- as most pot smokers are in the hundereds of nanograms of THC per ml of blood just after smoking- and they are not too “high” to drive- and would not be considered so given a roadside sobriety test. If they set the law at 5 Nanograms, a lot of people could get THC DUI’s that were not impaired at all. We are all hoping they will set no nanogram of THC standard, instead relying on roadside sobriety to determine if a driver is impaired, because that is filmed by a dash cam in the cop car and can be used as evidence in court. This would allow marijuana users to have a jury of 12 decide if, based on the video, they were impaired, or if the officer was just being a jerk. The DA’s are ignoring the will of the people of Colorado in certain areas, why should we believe cops in certain areas won’t go THC DUI crazy if they set such a low standard? Also, what probable cause will be allowed for making a person undergo a roadside test for THC DUI? Just smelling weed would be enough- and at such a low nanogram level- everyone who smoked within 24 hours would probably have nanograms above 5. We heard stories of patients testing in the thousands for nanograms of THC in blood. I didn’t get to ask if those patients were comatose and shouldn’t drive or not. Edson also mentioned the THC/DUI issue could come up in divorce court if it sets a standard for THC “impairment.” If one parent labels the other a daily marijuana user who is “constantly impaired” and the blood test confirms it, a good parent could lose custody of a child based on a ridiculous and unscientific standard of 5 nanograms as being impaired. I’ll try to keep everyone updated as we get more information on the issue- for now be careful still, especially in counties known to be unfriendly to Cannabis.

On a sad note-one that pains me deeply- Cash Hyde has passed away from cancer, after the Montana legislature forced the closure of dispensaries and cracked down on medical marijuana providers making it difficult, if not impossible, for Cash’s parents to get him the medication he needed. Cash has been an inspiration to us all, and he will be greatly missed. He accomplished so much in his short time here on earth. He will never be forgotten. Neither will the ridiculous laws and politicians that hastened his death. The laws will change in time, but not in time for Cash. The true consequence of cannabis prohibition lies in Cash Hyde’s story.

I made part two of Vitamin Cannabis and titled it “Save the Children” after hearing of Cash’s story. My baby boy had not yet been born, but I still felt the beginning pride a father feels. I knew that if Cannabis did cure cancer, the children who lay dying from the disease should be the first to receive it- just as the Polio vaccine went first to the kids already infected.

Cash beat cancer multiple times with Cannabis and Chemo. Finally, when left with only chemo as an option, he wasn’t able to survive. The legislative body in Montana that overrode the will of the people should be ashamed of themselves. But sadly, I know, in their alien world, Cannabis is evil- and should never be given to children. I disagreed at the time I made part two of my film, and I still do. Children should be given cannabis, but only in certain situations of dire medical need, or instead of addict forming brain altering ADD drugs.

It may turn out there are many more reasons to give children small doses of Cannabinoids, or hemp seeds and hemp seed oil, as a way of strengthening brain development, immune resistance, etc…but for now, I know that the years of telling children that Cannabis is evil has led to this- a child dying from a disease that possibly could have been cured with the very substance labeled as “evil”. “Save the Children from Cannabis” was a theme the Anti-legalization group used in Colorado to attack us legalizing weed. Luckily, most in Colorado knew it was better for the children if weed was legal. For Cash, I say “Save the Children with Cannabis.” He was a beautiful boy- A bright soul gone to heaven- Rest in Peace Cash Hyde 2008-2012

Please check out more on Cash’s story here: http://www.cashhydefoundation.com/

More to come in December- positive energy to all who have read this far- much love. -Capn Cannabis November 24 2012

Howdy Folks!

I’d like to share a story with you to start…

In 2002 the late great Colorado marijuana activist Ken Gorman and I were headed down to Colorado Springs to support a libertarian candidate for governor (Ralph Shnevlar) who was running partially on a pro-pot platform, and to promote the CD I produced for Ken called “It’s a Cannabis Christmas.” Upon arrival at the rally, Ken introduced me to Dr. Bob Melamede, a local professor who knew a ton about Cannabinoids, and the endocannabinoid system within the body. After listening to Dr. Bob speak at the event, his words struck me with such resonance, I knew I needed to know more. I arranged to have a meeting with Dr. Bob one on one, and to my surprise, he invited me―a young know nothing pot activist―to his home in the springs so he could show me some documentation that would back up with science what he was claiming cannabis could do. When I arrived we had a long conversation about the potential medicinal benefits of cannabis, and Dr. Bob showed me firsthand the x-ray photos of mice that had cancerous brain tumors being injected with THC, and the cancer going away. I saw with my own eyes the x-rays- and the mice’s tumors starving to death. That was back in the late summer of 2002.

Flash forward to 2010, when I am growing cannabis legally under state law in a house in the Denver ghetto, when my roommate bursts out of the bathroom where he had been reading a magazine, and says “some guy in Canada is claiming refined cannabis oil can cure cancer.” I remembered what Dr. Bob had shown me 8 years prior, and even though my roommate and I had severe doubts about what was claimed by Rick Simpson, when I told my friend the story of the mice who had been injected his eyes lit up and we both realized maybe it could work―and we would like to try it. We then found a way to make the oil ourselves.

The rest, as they say, is history, and it is still ongoing, as we don’t know if Cannabis will be legal here in Colorado, what has happened to my uncle, and will I ever get to legally make the medicine for others again? Through all that, I am so thankful that I went and saw Dr. Bob in 2002, to see those mice photos and hear that story. It led me to being rich at heart, as I know now not only that cannabis does cure cancer, but that I have the power to make the medicine myself. What a wonderful feeling that is…

And speaking of photos that can change people’s lives…we had a fantastic event in Colorado Springs the other night. Thanks so much to the THC Ministry for all their hard work putting this “Cannabis Cures Cancer” event together. Dr. Bob Melamede wowed the crowd with photos of a patient who used Cannabis Oil to cause a giant scalp tumor to fall off, leaving a healthy layer of skin underneath. Truly AMAZING pictures! And further proof the oil works. You can see all of Dr. Bob’s press releases at CannabisScience.com.

I also had a chance to talk with the sister and father of “Bill Smith”, a Colorado patient who is using Cannabis Oil to treat his rare condition. Their story, as partially featured on National Geographic Channel’s “American Weed”, is remarkable. Check out their website IamBillSmith.com for the whole story (Nat. Geo only used 20 minutes of 120 hours of footage they shot) and to keep updated on Bill and his family’s struggle to use a working natural medicine to treat his very serious condition. We wish them the best…

Stories also came to us at this event about “Realm of Caring”, a Colorado organization which is performing Cannabis miracles using the oil on all types of patients. They do all this despite the threat of persecution from the government. I have good information the testing is going extremely well. :-)

I also had many conversations with wonderful people about a variety of cannabis topics, including the right PH for water for making full melt bubble hash, is BHO ( Butane Hash Oil) Phoenix Tears (A Big No!), and a wonderful hand blown pipe came into my possession that I greatly appreciate! Vitamin Cannabis was shown to 25 people who seemed to really be into it, and Len Richmond’s “What If Cannabis Cured Cancer” finished off the night of exposition. There was laughter, there were tears, but―most importantly―there was hope for people who are sick and in need of real help. My thoughts and prayers are with all the patients whose family attended. The Cannabis Oil does work and you have a chance as long as you have breath left in your body, no matter what the medical establishment tells you your “time frame” is.

On a final note, a historical opportunity for everyone in Colorado to have the right to grow six Cannabis plants hangs in the balance by just a few thousand votes. I have already voted YES on Amendment 64 in Colorado, and despite my reservations about it, let me officially endorse it as of right now. Regardless of all the negative issues with 64, a million plus people in Colorado will be able to grow 6 Cannabis plants and keep their whole harvest. I know it can take a while, but six plants, grown 6 feet tall each, could give the grower enough to make oil very easily. Knowing that everyone in the state 21 and over can make their own Cancer cure is a GREAT THING- regardless of all the BS that will come with the new law. If you have the same reservations as I do, Vote Yes on 64, you will feel good doing it, and please encourage everyone you know to vote Yes as well as it may be very, very close. I have a feeling, though, that even a few Romney votes will be Yes votes on 64 as well, so I’m predicting a narrow 420 vote  victory. I’ll be posting a newsletter late Tuesday night or as soon as the election results for Amendment 64 are in this November 6th.

Thanks to everyone who attended the event- we hope to see you all again!

Peace and positive thoughts your way- Capn Cannabis

Howdy folks!

It’s been a while- but you’ll be getting a double dose this month to make up for a missed month of information. To get started- we have major good news and major bad news. The good first- Rick Simpson, who should win the nobel prize, has released his book telling the story of the Phoenix Tears. You can get all 176 pages for $9.99 at his website– and I strongly recommend that if you are reading this newsletter you read Rick Simpson’s book. In it, he describes in intricate detail, with suprisingly excellent writing, the entire journey he has been on, including the proper process for making the cannabis oil. A lot of patients stories are described as well, their diseases, and experience on the oil. This is all useful information you may not be able to find online, and certainly not all in one place. I have read the book in its entirety, and not only was it a great Cannabis book, it is a great Human evolution story, told with honor, integrity, and spitting fire where it needs to be spat. It is a phenomenal tale- you will be shocked and amazed at what actually took place during Rick’s rise to fame. All for re-realeasing a panacea, a cure all- the Phoenix tears.

To Rick- you are a true hero of mine for the courage you have shown in releasing such information. I am thankful I came across it, and used it with great success to help those in need. I wish you the best and ultimate success through the rest of your long life, and I understand now the reasons you may not return to your home country of Canada. I still hope you get to see your Mom and those you want to see in that region. I thank you again, on behalf of all those I have treated and myself and my family, for what you have done, are doing, and I know will do. Thank you- is all I can say.

And now for the bad news… My Uncle, and the star patient in my film Vitamin Cannabis, has been arrested by the Federal Government in his homestate, a legal medical state where my uncle was a registered patient. The worst part, is the last communication I have from him was about how he had made the cannabis oil, cured a friend of brain cancer with a 60 gram reset, had the medical proof, and was about to go public with it. That “going public with it” part never happened….

To my Uncle- I’m so sorry this has happened. I know you were trying so hard to do what was morally correct, and success in curing loved ones meant the powers that be had to do something to stop you. Sooner rather than later. You alone were that much of a threat to them. Your courage in allowing me to tell your story in my film, has already helped others make the same leap of faith you did when you first told me you had cancer, and I first told you about the Phoenix Tears, and you decided to take 60 grams and extend your life.I am thankful for you in my life- and the lessons you taught me about good living and strength in family. I have nothing but love for you- and I wish you all the positive energy in the world to see you through this. I know God is there too. Thank you from the bottom of my heart- please know how sorry I am. God bless you Uncle.

It feels tough to follow that with any kind of news- but I have to go on- and to lighten the mood- did anyone see the story on the study that said CT Scans could be causing 2% of the cancers world wide? Oh wait- that wasn’t positive- but it is true. Let me try again…

Did anyone see the story of the guy busted in Vermont for Cannabis possession, who then took his farm tractor to the police station that busted him and ran over 7 of their cars with his steel beast?? The best part is, two of the officers had just finished washing their cars by hand before the tractor attacked. The next best part? The 7 cops in the station had to chase the tractor on foot, because all their cars were just destroyed. They failed to aprehend the man in the tractor, and another county’s deputies (who presumably still had cars) caught up with the man and arrested him for multiple felonies.

In a non related story that I so badly wish was related- Colorado’s Pot Police, the Medical Marijuana Enforcement Division ( MMED) of the Colorado Division of Revenue, spent $70,000 a piece on 7 totally tricked out black S.U.V.’s, that apparently were designed to chase potheads across dirt roads at 60 mph. They carry advanced everything, upgraded everything, and now that Colorado’s pot boom (at least for the dispensaries, the black market is now flourishing) is over and the tax dollars have dried up, the MMED doesn’t even have enough employees left to need the 7 S.U.V.’s, so they are loaning them out to other government agencies. The MMED had over $7 million dollars at one point, and now they are so broke they won’t even authorize new employees for the pot shops that do still exist, so a hiring freeze is now in place because you can’t hire new employees until the MMED approves them, and they won’t do that again until March of 2013 due to “budgetary issues.” So you can’t get a job in the pot shops unless you have already been approved. Bullshit. Corrupt Bullshit. I really wish the Tractor man would have taken on the MMED’s 7 S.U.V.’s they blew their taxpayer money on, but alas, no such luck. Hey MMED, we could probably make another $7 mil for you to mindlessly blow on stupid shit if we set up your S.U.V.’s at the Denver Coliseum and let Tractor Man run them over. Just a thought…

In Oil related news, we have helped make some oil with a high CBD strain of weed specifically designed for CBD content, and test results just came back at 40% CBD, which is very good, as our original oil had around 3% CBD and 29% THC (also less than 1% CBN). In theory, a blend of CBD and THC would be good for certain cancers, but in reading Rick Simpson’s book, he isn’t quite sold on CBD for internal ingestion, which is our primary focus. From my experience, the high THC has worked all the magic that needs to be worked in almost every case, but it does make patients have THC “trips” occasionally. We will experiment with the high CBD oil (though there is very little of it at present) and report back in newsletters if possible. We would also like to encourage anyone out there doing CBD internal ingestion work to contact us with any information, we would love to hear from you!

Additionally, rumors of a Tommy Chong documentary on the Phoenix Tears in Colorado proved to be false, but we wish him the best in his treatment. We also know there are many more documentaries on the oil being made in Colorado and elsewhere. We wish all these film teams the best of luck in their quest to document the truth behind the healing magic of the oil- and we look forward to seeing your films!

More Colorado news- An 87 Year old man was recently busted for growing 400 plus pot plants (I’m sure he would say 420), that he was licensed to grow according to state constitutional law- meaning he had the “Red Card” permits and was making oil and edibles for people, which requires more plants. The cops left him with some of his plants- but I just want to say that this man should not be charged with anything- he should be put in the book of world records- for coolest grandpa. He should not face jail time, he should be given a medal for being so old and growing so much damn pot. His plants were huge! There’s no way a jury of 12 is gonna convict this guy of his supposed crime- so it amounts to the cops robbing him and leaving him struggling to fulfill patients needs. It’s again- Bullshit. Corrupt Bullshit.

On one more Colorado corrupt Bullshit note- letters went out to 10 more dispensaries in the state ordering them to close because they are within 1000 feet of schools or day-cares. 10 places closing or relocating at the cost of a few stamps to the federal agent that sent them out. Meanwhile, and I could not make this up- the Denver City council revises it’s liquor code so that now you can open a bar and serve alcohol right next to a school. I kid you not. The limit used to be 500 feet, but that was just too inconvenient to drinkers and developers. I’m not saying I care if my kids school is next to a bar (I probably would) but it’s amazing to see the slanted view of things. Cannabis curing stations closing, while poison flows freely anywhere it wants.

We were also thrilled to hear the recent news of a genuine “Jury Nullification” in New Hampshire for a Rastafarian man found growing Cannabis plants on his property for sacramental use. For those of you unfamiliar with Jury Nullification, it basically allows a jury member to decide that the prosecutor has presented his case and it seems to be correct, but if he or she disagrees with the punishment the accused would receive if a guilty verdict is entered, the jury member can nullify the trial and find the defendant not guilty. The defendant then cannot be retried due to double jeopardy. I bring this up because of this little known fact: Jury Nullification, done by the hundreds, kept many good bootleggers out of jail in the waning days of prohibition. When juries refused to convict their friends and neighbors for boozing or making booze, the federal government knew the battle was over and moved to correct the problem, thus ending prohibition. The government has also kept Jury Nullification a secret ever since then, and we were glad to see it brought back for Cannabis as a sacred plant, in the state of New Hampshire. Way to Go NH!! If all of us register to vote (which makes you eligible for jury duty) and we then show up to jury duty, get selected, and happen to pull a drug case, in theory you could nullify the whole trial by forcing a not guilty verdict, and- done by the hundreds- prosecutors would stop prosecuting certain drug cases, and the federal government would be forced to change the laws or look really stupid as everyone is breaking the laws with no penalty or enforcement. It worked once before, it could work again…

Other efforts to legalize marijuana continue in Colorado. On our ballot in November is Amendment 64, which would basically set up Colorado’s medical marijuana system, including aspects of HB 1284 (which was written by law enforcement agents), into Colorado’s state constitution. It has received a wave of negative attacks from the anti-pot side (95% funded by a Republican Drug Treatment Facility operator), including the oft used link from marijuana to Heroin use as a gateway drug, which has proven false or we would have heroin shops here in Denver. The critics have also cited drug court influenced statistics that more teens seek drug addiction treatment for pot than any other drug, which is a true stat, but only because teens busted for a couple joints at a party are offered drug treatment and a clean record (Read: Can still get federal college loans) as a plea deal, versus fighting the charges and possibly ending up with a criminal record ( Read: No Student Loan money for you). No wonder so many young people caught with an 1/8 of weed or a pipe choose Bullshit drug addiction treatment instead of the criminal record part, so the numbers are skewed one way to say the least. Another tactic included the republicans changing the Colorado Voter guide ( a book that gets sent to every Colorado voter that highlights the pros and cons of each issue on the ballot) to have 366 words against the legalization amendment, to only 208 for it. The messed up part is, the words were even initially, until someone in government intervened to tip the hat in the favor of the prohibitionists. Underhanded and seedy- that’s pot politics in the place where Rocky Mountain High is our state song.

Last but not least, I will be speaking at an event in Colorado Springs on October 26th sponsored by the THC ministry. I believe Dr. Bob Melamede may be there, and his film, along with a video from me, will be shown. I hope to have our instructional video called “Vitamin Cannabis: How to Make the Cure” finished by then as we continue to get countless requests for help in making the oil, fixing the oil, etc.. I am a huge fan of the poster that was put together for this event- that boldly states “CANNABIS CURES CANCER.”

Damn right it does. I’m proud to again scream it from this electronic mountaintop. Won’t you join me in making some phoenix tears, using it, and feeling better? I hope you do. :-)

God bless you all- Capn Cannabis- September 2012 cannabischorus@gmail.com

July News – Breach Party

Hello, everyone. This months’s news letter comes with sad news: Cash Hyde in Montana, a 2 year old who put his brain cancer into remission with Cannabis Oil, is out of oil due to the closure of medical marijuana dispensaries in his state. He is asking for donations, but moving may be a better option. It is so sad that medical marijuana law and the bickering over symantics makes it so children like Cash cannot get the medicine they need to grow up strong. So sadshame on the Montana legislature for shutting down the dispensarieslook at who you are affecting.

On a more positive note, we have received good information Tommy Chong is winning his battle against cancer using the cannabis oil. Keep him in your thoughts as he fights the good fight, and a movie featuring him using the oil is rumored to be filming right now. In Colorado Springs, Bob Crouse, a Phoenix Tears user and grower, was found not guilty by a jury of his peers. Congratulations to him! It seems the only way to really win these trials is with a jury of your peers, who just won’t find you guilty as long as you were following constitutional amendment 20, rather than the state legislatures added on House Bill 1284. The people know truthandso farthey are not convicting their neighbors based on crap laws passed by the state politicians, they are going by what the people said about medical marijuana way back in 2000. Right on!

More interesting stuff with the patent, it seems the Cannabis as Neuroprotectants patent is being utilized by a pharmaceutical corporation who hopes to have a product released based on the patent within the next couple years. Of course, their competition would be people growing it themselves cheaply, so they have to make sure that can’t happen, but it is interesting to see how the Perfect Corporation works- to screw us over of course.

In actual oil testing news- we are now no longer allowing the use of Sleep Aids of any kind while patients are using large amounts of the oil. In fact, any other medication that can slow the heart rate or put you to sleep should probably not be used in conjunction with the oil, especially “reset” attempts.

On a final noteMedical Marijuana patients on the registry, almost 100,000 now in the state, can no longer be on the conceal to carry a weapon list. Additionally, patients who have cars registered in their name will find their registry status as a pot user will pop up on Police computers when they are pulled over in their car. This is all fully unconstitutional according to amendment 20, and fully allowed under new laws passed by misguided politicians. Never the less, this breach of what was supposed to be a confidential medical marijuana patient registry, is complete, and you need to be aware of it, and have a “Breach Party” to commiserate another one of our rights gone by the wayside.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the shooting at the Aurora movie theatre that happened during this month just a few miles from where I live. Many victims were taken to the University of Colorado hospital, where both of my children were born in the last year. Anyone can go crazy anywhere, but everyone here is at a loss for words to explain why this happened, and why it happened again here in this state. My heart goes out to the victims and their families. I don’t think we will ever fully understand why he did what he did, and hurt so many. We can only try to heal the pain. I just wish this guy had smoked a bunch of pot in his life, because I know, from personal experience, that even angry individuals become chilled out when they smoke pot. It may not have mattered either way.

There is more to come in next months newsletter as we continue to try to get the message of the cancer cure out there to all who will listen. We are also preparing a new video of our method that will be released soon to help alleviate some of the e-mails we get with questions as to how to make it.

We wish you all a happy and safe beginning to the new month―positive thoughts and energy your way!

Kyle Marsh (Capn Cannabis)
